Portnoy sendiri bilang ingin membantu a7x menyelesaikan album tanpa the rev,

They probably realised their classic formula wasn't working anymore because Hail to the King was an abysmally stale and uninspired album, they just decided to let go of their metalcore, hardcore, heavy metal roots if necessary and embrace a more progressive style.

Guys I literally can't put into words how amazing this is to watch. This has been my favorite song from you guys since I first heard Nightmare years ago, and I've always been flabbergasted by how underappreciated this song is. I've recently spent literally weeks and finally learning how to play it after all these years, and due to the length and complexity (and my limited skill set), it's been a real challenge, but I'm taking real pride in being able to play it as well as I can thus far. This video of watching you guys dissect every other little bit and telling the story behind it is really giving all the part and piece I'm learning whole new special meaning. Hearing the isolated tracks is REALLY interesting too. It really brings out tiny little intricacies that I never noticed before. This really was a fascinating treat to watch. I cannot wait for part 2!

One of my favouritee songs, you can really feel a lot of emotion in this song. Not just because of the circumstances they were in whilst recording it, but the true nature of the songs themes and the way its composed. Got to be in their top 5 of all time. Also you really get the PROGy feel with the long winding intro and the length of the song (hmm funny how Mr. Portnoy played on it xD).
