+Facerino Kripperino Did you not see the first game? you didnt even need to see the whole video to notice. Do you just instantly pause the video and comment before playing the video?
Oh boy, this box had a Twisting Nether in it! And that Twisting Nether opened more boxes... Which give me more Twisting Nethers... And it just keeps repeating I sure do feel like a Grinch when playing Warlock. How appropriate.
How to win the game: Step 1: Pick Priest Step 2: Kill your boxes Step 3: Get two Confessors and play them on Turn 6 and get two Tirions... Step 4: ??? Step 5: Turns out it's PREEEETTY GOOD
+Thegenerator100 you literally cannot get 2 tirions. Your boxes will give your class cards and your opponent's box will give your opponent's class cards.
+Bryan Trimble Senran Kagura ( anime not the Game) the story Isnt that good ( its kind of generic) But the only reason you Will like this anime is the comedy and the Ecchi
In the begining of the rouge priest match he complains that his opponent had a really good hand when he literally played the exact same cards himself lol
Murloc Shaman was really fun. Crazed Alchemist + Auras (flametongue or warleader) are already great synergy, and you have the chance of getting the +2/+2 Murloc buff from your box.
Really enjoying this brawl as it gives you the chance to play more-than-5-minute matches (unless opponent gets salty). Everyone in EU server keeps playing warlock and hoarding the cards. Best brawl to play as mill rogue (especially with the snowball card). :D
This was my favorite brawl so far. Surprised no one mentioned hunter to be honest, though. Just brought a standard midrange hunter and went 12-3 just yesterday. Seems the presents against hunter aren't that good in the matchup :D.
I actually really enjoyed this tavern brawl, and I didn't find it as one-sided with what decks worked as people say. I really enjoyed playing Priest, but that was far from the only class viable. I'd take a repeat of the Gift Exchange brawl over the Encounter at the Crossroads, Portals, or Spiders brawl any day.
This was my experience with the brawl. First day, play on NA, take 2 games to get a win as a paladin. Ran into a hunter who played Acidmaw and Dreadscale, proceeded to get like 5 king krushes. Today, play on Asia, first game insta conceeded because I was a warlock. Play on EU, turn 1 coin flip my opponents box, they conceeded immediately.
While playing as warlock is pretty strong, playing against warlock gives you a high chance of getting Twisting Nether. I got 6 boxes in 3 turns in a row with those :)
Enemy: Plays Doomsayer Kripp: Plays Crazed alchemist Enemy: Plays Crazed alchemist Kripp: Plays Doomsayer "He has a pretty fucking insane hand" YOU PLAYED THE SAME CARDS
I'm kinda late on this one, but do you think rogue would've been a good class for this because most of the class specific cards for the rogue aren't that great?
The funny thing is I thought this brawl would be something completely different from it's description, I actually thought present boxes would fall on the board throughout the match and would require the player to click on them like board interactive elements until they give you a card from the players deck that they made for the match. But with the way the brawl was set up, I really think they should've provided a deck rather than having the player build their own considering how powerful some class and card combos were and the fact that some classes had far too easy a time destroying their own box as well as yours and using the presents all in the same turn e.g. Priest, Mage, Warlock.
From my experience, if you're having trouble getting box tempo - or board control because you're about even with the opponent - you have to start assembling combo pieces to burst your opponent out of nowhere. The two OTKs I've done on opponents thus far have been via multiple Groms (when running warrior), and multiple Velens (when running priest). There would certainly be others you can do though... let's see... Druid: run double Savage Roar and double Raven Idol in your deck, then try to loot two Force of Nature. 40 damage for 8 mana. Hunter: Tundra Rhino is free and does 2 damage; Savannah Highmane costs 1 and deals 6. At max, you'd be able to deal 38 damage for 6 mana, though requiring 7 cards. - though you could swap out a Highmane for a King Krush for an extra 2 damage. Alternatively, Tundra Rhino, Gahzrilla, then include some cards in hand to pump Gahz into lethal territory - Wild Pyro would work well with gifts. Mage: if you can survive until turn 10, then infinite Fireballs via Antonidas shouldn't be too hard. You'll need Emperor Thaurissan to hit 2 combo parts (Sorc Apprentice, Echo of Medivh and/or Antonidas), but as the whole combo only costs 12, if you reduce it by 2+ it's much easier to pull off than usual. Paladin: run a 4+ attack charger (Arcane Golem or Leeroy are your best bets) and nab 3 Blessed Champion. Easy. Rogue: doesn't really have a OTK that can be enabled from their own crates, but they do have Trade Prince Gallywix. If you're playing rogue, try to nab one from your crates early; your opponent loses a lot of tempo gain if they have to give you a gift every time they use one. You also get access to neutral cards if Gallywix gives you a copied gift, so you may find yourself getting something like Dr Boom or Deathwing. Shaman: 3 Al'akir and a Bloodlust. 36 damage for 9 mana. Warlock: don't have access to a OTK like some of the other classes mentioned here, but do have some of the best box-control tools, so as a warlock, focus on denying your opponent as many gifts as possible while hoarding them all for yourself. Be wary of the OTKs mentioned above. So basically, the only classes that won't have any possible OTK in this brawl are warlock and rogue, so there are only 3 matchups (warlock v rogue, warlock v warlock and rogue v rogue) where no OTK is going to be possible at all. In all others, if your opponent is clearly winning the present game, make yours count and start assembling a OTK.
Hunter: alchemist, owl, doomsayer, hunters mark, and your pretty much set. silencing your box is the best denial, or taking your own as the opponent will generally lack the means to kill their own box.
This brawl was pretty fun the first time I played it, with different classes. Next time I played it was shit, because I don't have any alchemists, or doomsayers, or whatever, and I couldn't get any gifts till it was too late.
Mage was to me, the most amusing one to play since you have some spells like the flamethroqer that deals 4 damage to a ramdom ennemy minion for 2, all you neede was then to get some taunts and duplicate and it was some pretty easy wins most of the time
Pros of killing your box before your opponent's: -It's easier for your opponent to kill your boxes so killing them first denies him the gift -It makes it so there's only 1 box on the board on your opponent's turn, so if he does something like twisting nether he only gets 1 gift Cons: -Your box won't be able to attack on your turn so using cards like power overwhelming is harder -Your opponent's box will be able to attack on his turn so using cards like power overwhelming is easier Also depending on what card you're looking for or the quality of your class's big drops vs your opponent's, you might prefer to get a gift from a certain class. I usually kill my box first, but I'm not certain which is better.
i generally coined out doomsayer when i could for double presents to out tempo my opponent. and yah your right warlock just worked as a popular choice as it worked well. in a mirror match me and my opponent had, combined, probably more than 10 jaraxsuses appear to us because we kept killing boxes each turn.
Kripp: Hand has Doomsayer and Alchemist Priest: Hand has a Doomsayer and an Alchemist. "Yeah he had a pretttttty fucking awsomm hand" Give me a break, sometimes hes too much
I went like 20 and 1 with warrior. You just always pick brawls and returns. I literally brawled 15 times in a game. You just end up taking all the presents. And youthful to save presents for brawl is fun too.
I just ignored the crates and went face was this right ?

thanks blizzard
Well me too
IceRagerino Kripperino did I mention that I kind of dont like you?
+MagmaRagerino Kripperino Those H1B ragers man...
You can get neutrals , with cho , mind vision or that rouge legendary... but they are +5 mana ...
Loathebs "The end is close" combined with Gormoks sound combined with actually killing the dude was pretty fucking epic at 33:54
23:54
"you love my new recipe" - "I KNEW IT!"
The banter in this Tavern Brawl was intense
"You love my new recipe?"
"But of course!"
"Haven't seen single shaman today" 18.12.2015 - Karazhan
M8 its 2016 not 15 xD
This was recorded in 2015 though.
yeah but why say karazhan in the end tho? ( karazhan is from 16 so thats what i meant )
That brawl that left just your abusive sergeant on the board, it was pretty sweet.
This is actually the first time I've ever heard a hunter say "My hand is too full"
In the begining of the rouge priest match he complains that his opponent had a really good hand when he literally played the exact same cards himself lol
One of my favorite plays is playing Poison Seeds as a Druid when both boxes are on the board.
I wonder if the Kripperino that went out looking for Balderino has found him yet.
He did
Idk why but Father Winter sounds like he is Indian when hes saying, "ho ho ho happy Winter's Veil"
Murloc Shaman was really fun. Crazed Alchemist + Auras (flametongue or warleader) are already great synergy, and you have the chance of getting the +2/+2 Murloc buff from your box.
Man archmage into my 5 gifts into the enemy conceding is sure fun. This brawl is the best
I even had a game where I got double velen's from my opponent priest and went fireball+frostbolt into the face for 36 dmg.
23:00 critical hit!
Really enjoying this brawl as it gives you the chance to play more-than-5-minute matches (unless opponent gets salty).
Everyone in EU server keeps playing warlock and hoarding the cards. Best brawl to play as mill rogue (especially with the snowball card). :D

Your mill Druid deck did fantastic in this brawl. Won 14 straight
This is the best brawl so far, except maybe an early master summoner. So many interesting strategies that changed this game so much!
I played ramp druid and loved it. I don't think I ever saw another druid.
My favorite Tavern Brawl yet
How good is : Turkish Air Force?
+Cykarino Blyaterino fuck you
+Rœquiem awww :3
+Cykarino Blyaterino Im hillarious and i find this Kripperino russian.
That's not funny, they clearly violated international laws and should be convicted for attempted murder.
9:02 The first time I ever heard a Hunter say that
This was my experience with the brawl.
I saw a lot of success with a slower mech mage. You replace some of the aggro with spells like flame cannon and flamestrike. I've won quite a few.
miracle rogue was working wonders in my experience. of course including crazed alchemyst.
Hmm,Skipp The Nature!: 7:02
+Malfurion Stormrage Hmm Kripp,You were right to awaken me! 7:13
hmm
+Malfurion Stormrage I almost read your username as Malfurino Stormrage
+Bayu Furatama Hmm,A natural Mistake
I thought its like that, but after this comment i reread it and i was like oh , ok
Got here before the kripperinos pogchamp
This was actually intended to be a nerf to face huntard players, they now have one less card back than the rest of us
I had some real fun in this brawl with an old-school mech rogue.
While playing as warlock is pretty strong, playing against warlock gives you a high chance of getting Twisting Nether. I got 6 boxes in 3 turns in a row with those :)
Enemy: Plays Doomsayer

"He has a pretty fucking insane hand"
YOU PLAYED THE SAME CARDS
+Jag Johal You didn't watch the rest of the video did you
Problem with Shaman is either side playing Mistcaller. I played a game where I summoned my 3rd Mistcaller against a Shaman.. fun game.
Im so happy we finally got something where my favorite class is actually good.
+Shade Ninja shaman!
[Hearthstone] Tavern Brawl #27: Stolen Gifts
I'm kinda late on this one, but do you think rogue would've been a good class for this because most of the class specific cards for the rogue aren't that great?
Mill rogue using master of disguise to permanently stealth your own box Seemed fairly effective to me.
+Valox aoe would completely kill it though. Especially since warlocks run twisting nether.
Rich Ezu usually I've already had enough value out of denying them boxes before they can play that kind of aoe, so it worked.
The funny thing is I thought this brawl would be something completely different from it's description, I actually thought present boxes would fall on the board throughout the match and would require the player to click on them like board interactive elements until they give you a card from the players deck that they made for the match. Turns out it's PRETTY GOOOOOOOD

Damn skipperino stop making everyone do your joberino

Present gets buffed by Sword of Justice, making it able to attack when you get it. Found out by accident but it really helped.
video interessante como sempre kripp. Like!
Hunter: alchemist, owl, doomsayer, hunters mark, and your pretty much set. silencing your box is the best denial, or taking your own as the opponent will generally lack the means to kill their own box.
Kripp, I tried a Shaman after watching this. Holy shit, it is awesome!
17:35 Fun ruined? you're the one that doesn't wish them a happy feast of winterveil Kripp :/
I played Shaman mostly and went 15-0 at one point. My deck was mostly just clear cards and I relied on minions from boxes. Was lots of fun.
+Darth Fraeblood It surely is a lot of fun for this brawl.
wow. gormok's spear looked awesome.
a crate with flametongue next to it gives a box +attack - i guess it must be filled with legos.
One deck you didn't mention was tempo mage. this deck was a star, ten outa ten wins :D
Same here :D
This brawl was pretty fun the first time I played it, with different classes. Next time I played it was shit, because I don't have any alchemists, or doomsayers, or whatever, and I couldn't get any gifts till it was too late.
"The end is CLOARRGHH"
7:00 for those earlier than Skipperino Kripperino
*Opponent plays Paletress, Hero Powers, gets Toshley*
*I play Paletress, hero powers, gets Cho*
FeelsBadMan
21:30 This cardback is so cool, how to get it?
Baron Rivendare works really well if you can kill your own boxes.
I ran silences for when I didnt have removal ironbeak etc and played a warlock for fast 4 dmg removal and killing off my own. worked very well
I play a warrior with some taunts, and a Lore Master Cho is amazing early game especially if they took a crate the turn before.
21:13 what is that crad back? :O
was this updated? when I played it the boxes had a different icon and had "Give current player a stolen gift"...
"shaman are the best" First time this was ever said.
I did something of a mill druid as well and it was fairly successful and fun.
I find druid to be quite effective as well as mage with that legendary that gives you fireballs
Did Kripp also mentioned that the gifts come with a huge 7 mana discount?
Mage was to me, the most amusing one to play since you have some spells like the flamethroqer that deals 4 damage to a ramdom ennemy minion for 2, all you neede was then to get some taunts and duplicate and it was some pretty easy wins most of the time
I feel Kripp could take a page out of Day9's book. The latter cannot be phased by anything, least of all rage at RNG.
I like this Tavern Brawl.
Not just because i got Rhonin and Archmage Antonidas from my first 2 Gift's :)
Playing against shaman was pretty fun, got like 7 Mistcallers from the boxes, im pretty sure that 9/11 auchenai soulpriest is PREEEEETTTY GOOD
Three arcane golems? Did that rogue WANT to lose?
Pros of killing your box before your opponent's:
-It's easier for your opponent to kill your boxes so killing them first denies him the gift
-It makes it so there's only 1 box on the board on your opponent's turn, so if he does something like twisting nether he only gets 1 gift
Cons:
-Your box won't be able to attack on your turn so using cards like power overwhelming is harder
-Your opponent's box will be able to attack on his turn so using cards like power overwhelming is easier
Also depending on what card you're looking for or the quality of your class's big drops vs your opponent's, you might prefer to get a gift from a certain class. I usually kill my box first, but I'm not certain which is better.
My mom always said not to take advice from dick butts :v
I think "easier" is a wrong word, using it on a box that can't attack gives you more than enough value.
This brawl, the games can last for god dam ever. Constant board clears and hard removal.
Use master of disguise to stealth your own box. This will make it harder for your opponent to get gifts.
I like how completely bat shit broken charge would probably be in today's hearthstone
i generally coined out doomsayer when i could for double presents to out tempo my opponent. and yah your right warlock just worked as a popular choice as it worked well. in a mirror match me and my opponent had, combined, probably more than 10 jaraxsuses appear to us because we kept killing boxes each turn.
Kripp: Hand has Doomsayer and Alchemist
Priest: Hand has a Doomsayer and an Alchemist.
"Yeah he had a pretttttty fucking awsomm hand" Give me a break, sometimes hes too much
I played the last day of this brawl with a vancleef deck because I got it in a pack and it was amazing. I could get a 12/12 vancleef regularly.
Nicee...
Turns out it's PREEEETTY GOOD
Mill Rogue is pretty OP too bcs you vanish the boxes into their hands
I went like 20 and 1 with warrior. You just always pick brawls and returns. I literally brawled 15 times in a game. You just end up taking all the presents. And youthful to save presents for brawl is fun too.
On my first game my opponent got on the board first and their first two gifts were the snowballs.
I lost that game.
Surprised to see theres no Kripperino accounts about Kripp's bulging adam's apple.
I got confessor paletress from 3 boxes in a row, and then summoned another one by using my hero power xD
18:40 I'm kinda new to hearthstone, can someone explain why was that a bad play?
ty
this brawl was hard to do as shaman..i ended up having every opponent throw six mistcallers back at me
WTF ? I ACTUALLY WATCHED THE KRIPP!!!11!1!
At 12:50 why didnt loatheb work on holy fire?
Nothing like saving two Prophet Velvens and then 1 shotting the enemy with a spell
best tavern brawl ever
