I play keyboard, but I always admired people who can play the drums like this. Truly a masterful cover. Amazing when you watch it like this that you can keep track of so many things at once. Its like you have to reprogram your mind to be a drummer. Its insane! AWESOME job!

I feel like the 'darkness' part is slowed down a bit, which I love. I love when it's played slower and more controlled, the performance of One from Moscow in 1991 is my favorite version for that reason. Great cover!

This drum piece HAUNTS me. When I used to take drum lessons, the studio I took lessons from would put on an annual concert. The teachers would group together those taking drum lessons, guitar lessons, vocals, etc and form little bands. I was probably 12 years old at the time and the drummer from the more advanced, older group of kids had dropped out of the concert. My teacher asked me to step in because I was pretty good and I played a lot of Avenged Sevenfold, so I was used to playing with the double bass drum peddle. I was busy and did not have nearly enough time to practice my part. This was also my first ever performance playing drums. I bombed and I barely remember being on stage. I just remember the guitar player looking back at me confused. Those were the longest 7 minutes of my life lmao. Anyways… Great cover! 😆

I love that you slowed the tempo for the whole song. I feel that it fits it a bit more than the original. Also your drum cover is phenomenal. Kudos
Thanks so much for watching and for the comment! I also like the tempo slowed a tad but that by chance was to prevent copyright issues, as at the time I went to record it, I heard Metallica was tough on covers and giving people copyright headaches. Luckily this one fell under the cracks!
