Got one myself. I will have to do somemore videos now that the growing season is over and get my old girl out of hibernating. Not many guys like us videoing working on the old trucks. Will keep them alive years down the road when those of us who used to work on them are gone.
Been looking for a channel with lots of Mack content, please keep it coming!
Nice old Mack !
Thanks !
Cant wait to see, whats in store for this old mack !!
I never seen a old mack truck that didn't want to live again they never really die God bless you guys
I haven't either! Thank you for watching and we appreciate that!
That’s a sweet old truck there real nice 👍🏻
I said it once and now I will say it again a Angel has just got there wings when a old Mack fires up and gets ran down the road my wife caught me again she was laughing cause the smile my face and me talking to the screen saying come on old girl show them you still got it love the video brother keep them coming
Hahahah man that is just too good 😂 we're gonna have to get a shirt made just for her! That's awesome, we will do our best to keep them coming! Thank you for watching!
I love them old macks. I'm glad you pulled the side of the pump the old mack pumps will run away if it's been sitting a long time. If that truck could talk it could tell you some good stories
Back then and in to the early 90’s Mack built trucks to last, great video keep them coming.
I couldn't agree more! Thank you we will do our best!
You always need around 3 batteries minimum to crank them and having jumper cables hooked up to help’s always
Old 673 mack, love it!
Great job guys, the ol dog wants to live 😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you! It definitely does!!!
Muy bueno tu canal,,,,, yo aprendí a manejar, en un camión Mack b 61 , son camiones que nunca muere, los felicito,,,

Got to love the old macks they will run forever.
That they will!
Joe an pop great job love it keep the videos going thank you ken
Thank you! We really appreciate that ken!!!
Usually a bad ground when they don’t crank or it’s gotta lot of gunk in the bendix
You boy"s are good!
Thank you!!!!
I never drove a b model with a unishift drove duplexes triplexes and quadboxes unishift was like an early road ranger
Great video, and the old Mack starts right up like it was running yesterday, keep the videos coming! Any plans to power wash it?
I love your channel because u keep it about trucks which is what we want to see I hope your channel grows tremendously
hey Only..do a partial restore..she is a warrior..was thinking that there were to many cooks in the kitchen before she started..but your Dad came through..
That may be the plan. But not quite sure. And yea I felt the same way hahaha it all worked out though!
Old macks tough to kill !👍
If you need any info on them let me know, ive started collecting manuals.
I've heard of pennies in lieu of fuses in old house fuse boxes, but never in between battery terminals.
Hahaha yea it worked for me many years ago on some of my first cars and it's my go to quick fix for a loose terminal that can't be tightened hahaha
Only thing wrong with a unishift is you Have to use clutch to split the gears. But I’m sure it be gotten around like when you split pull the stick back to neutral then put it back in gear 🤷
That's what I thought! We thought about doing that or maybe making it a second stick similar to a duplex. Just something to bypass the air on the clutch deal
Ted Baker up in Trevose had a B Model single axle dump truck in a building at his junkyard that had that unishift in it. I think that was the only one I've seen. I'm thinking that was like 35 years ago
Wow! I really love seeing your name in the comments lol
@@Only4Trucks I never drove a unishift, I've only seen that one at Baker's Junkyard and seen them in old Mack manuals. What was it like to shift ?
BTW you can get a little set of molds to replace battery posts for like 20 bucks. I used to do it all the time. Ask your dad if He knew Matt and Jr from Anthracite Battery on E Tioga St
Wow that’s a battery place from yrs past they had a truck in there place with candle headlights. I only seen it once . Don’t remember what it was .
@@GWHauling-yp7dd yeah that was probably one of the Autocars or Charlie White's 1914 IH 2 cylinder. Those guys were long time friends of my uncle and grandparents. At our house a lot
Drove a 58 Mack with unishift in the 70's
Wow! So how is it supposed to be shifted? I think I've learned from research but much better to read from someone who's done it!
Same as a super 10, split every gear individually
Fantastic to see old bulldog starting again.id do a full resto on it if it was mine.love the nod to convoy at the start.....best film ever made.pig pen passed away a few weeks ago..big amen for him...aaammmeeennn.keep up the great videos guys.had pics taken with kris rubber duck kristofferson when he played ireland a few years ago.man what a gentleman.
How many speeds does the transmission have?
Is that a unishift I only see 1 stick ?
What is it? A frame bending competition? 3:06
Nice old Mack. I wouldn't hit the battery with a hammer tho....my dad did that trick yrs ago, battery blew up. Wasn't pretty. Good luck with her. Bulldogs were meant to run...not rot away setting
Ruined a brand new battery myself many years ago using a hammer then I discovered using other tools to spread the terminals open so it would fit over the post like Tire irons or screwdrivers the large kind of straights there's even tools that are actually made for spreading the terminals open. Never Hammer that's the most amateur move.
I absolutely agree but we try to be gentle lol I've whacked a top post right into the battery and shattered the top years ago. It definitely was meant to run!
I howl like a 3-53T
That's it!
END673 naturally aspirated
That's it!
First one here
Thank you for that! I appreciate you watching!!!
Either man need juice it
With all that yelling y'all sound like me and some of my friends trying to start something...
