- is this genius or idiocy!?
whatever you think, it was great fun!
I had the bright idea of fitting tipping trailer to a dump truck and taking it on some adventures!
no welding this week we are on a diesel adventure off-road! if you like diesel creek and Andrew camarata hopefully you will enjoy this. grab a cold one, chill out and enjoy the nonsense.
this is what I do in my spare time when I'm not in the workshop welding fabbing gouging etc! - Авто/Мото
Look at the reeeeek coming off the old girl pulling that lot uphill!
A man cut from the same cloth as myself playing in the burns and sorting firewood with whatever is kicking about 👌
Worst of it is was pointless can walk it in 5 minutes 😂
Alistair, I ❤ the content you put out on your channel and would love to see more content from your dad and yourself aswell as your uncle and your dad and you also, I literally cannot quantify the amount of skills and knowledge you possess between all of you…
Priceless talent skills and knowledge is a thing that has to be earned learned and shared and appreciated…
Regards
Good to see you do something else rather than work and have some fun. Of course cutting wood is quite hard work also. Keep these videos coming. I really enjoy them all. Double thumbs up.
Good luck finding a welder round there!
Steering wheel flopping around...hilarious
Oh the worktop jointing bolt is doing a grand job there.
And the damn lights worked too!
You have more fun with your raggedy stuff than a room full of kids ! And I would too!
Great allistair have exactly the same set up here at home. Never hooked it up to the trailer though. That’s a little weeks trailer that your grandfather had. They were made in hull. 👍
That was a awesome video👌 thank you very kindly sir, keep up the great work, thanks😁
Well it handled that hill very well with that trailer, and full of wood.,to boot. Beautiful land.
Hi Alistair, That steering wheel repair on the dumper has got to be patented. Thwaites could sell that as an aftermarket fix🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Again great video, as always
Thanks
MARK
A class act in making the mundane interesting and more importantly entertaining. 😊 Another enjoyable watch Alistair 👍👍
Had to clench my eyes several times, but had good laughter also...thanks for showing!
👍👍👍
Love that little truck!! Super cool equipment my friend!!
Not growing up is the best way to stay happy
Add a diverter valve and connection plugs on the dumper so can switch from dumper to trailer dump.
Was a hair raising journey at least. Loved it.
Nice shout out to the other tubers.
Pete’s face 😂 fook have I got myself into
Absolutely brilliant video
Well you just can't beat a crazy irishman having fun on a dumper .. and you were really having way too much fun for 1 day lol .. 😂. Yup if your gonna continue being a loon you're definitely gonna need to cover in that prop or you may pop out something you dont want . A lovely amount of timber there at the end and I'm sure Matt would be proud to know you're following him in keeping old plant working . Thanks for sharing a great video of a couple of guys having fun .
Oh man I relate to how much joy you got out of hooking that trailer up, it's the little things aye 😅
Ha ha sure is bud👍🏻👍🏻
@@allistairc123 stop lying you don't have a dump truck it's just a site dumper
Run an old wood chipper with a 2 pot Lister Petter air cooled and it was a Gem, easy starter, ran all day when you needed.and eat 5 Inch fresh cut hard woods all day long. Cheers
great wee set-up there and that 3cyl lister sounds sweet as.
Sweet vid you've now got little forwarder, love your process area with those seats and firepit
great video loved it
Great video. Love the old machines and your outlook on life. Perfect viewing for my birthday today.
Happy birthday bud! Thanks for support!
That thing works good! great idea.
Spot on. Love seeing old gear back in use.
Awesome, just makes you wish you had those toys as a kid. Imagine the size of that dam if ye had a dumper? aye lol.
Good to see somone else playing around doing silly things I do the same on my farm😂😂😂❤
What a blast! Brilliant success Allistair
Brilliant video, life is good!
Absolutely brilliant, love it
Lovely video
Grand one, and properly mental 🙌
Awesome content as always!!!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
I also was crushed by a dumper, pinned against an artic trailer. Was VERY lucky to only spend 5 days in hospital.
I love your content! Keep up the good work!
Loved the way you double clutched it into first😂😂😂😂
That is Ireland at its finest. Fucking gorgeous
I'd worry more about that grass working into the the UJ and differential seals and destroying them. The can't be too many cables under that old girl.
Great video
You could always put a selector valve so you could control whichever Ram you wanted to operate and it would isolate the ram you didn't want to operate
Cool video
MM77 Approved 👍🏻👍🏻
1:50 part of the list, wet seat 🤣
This made me really happy. Love this shit. Thank you.
You need that water up front for balance.🤔😂🤣😎
Good fun !
Good show as always!
Looks like the cleanup at my house! You got a good supply of firewood.
Looks like a guy could have a lot of fun building contraptions from things around your yard. Great videos by the way
You got a lot of boy toys in your yard ;-)
Much nicer feel to this vid than the highly produced vid
Hey up, good luck trying to find a welder in your neck of the woods
Is that dumper a thwaites 6000 alldrive, I can remember them from 40 years ago when I was a kid, they also built a 9000 which had a 5 speed gearbox with forward and reverse
Some old farm tractors had the start switch in a gearbox for exactly that reason. Usually the second or third box had "1,2,S" or "1,2,3,S" where the last "gear" was neutral and an electrical switch.
very good
😊😊😊😊😊
Looks like you have F1 steering wheel
Quick release 😅😅😅
You need a Recaro seat and Sparco five point harness. Beautifully executed dismount worthy of an Olympic gold medal !
nice cache of structural steel
A beautiful farm implement if I don’t say so myself.
No generic subs? Sometimes it´s hard to hear what you say, those times i find generic subs in english as a help....when availible 😉
You squeezed past a big ford county to tow that trailer? Was the county in too good a😂 shape
Alistair, next time put the blade to the back. It makes a hell of a difference
1:55 that is a huge dumper, bigger than my girlfriends dumper. And she has a waker dumper, a WACKER NEUSON DV60 to be more precise
My wife has got one of them flippy-floppy
dumpers.....
Hi Alistair no change here same old battery tyres and dumper bucket full of shit brilliant
@28:00 Pete only uses 4 lug nuts out of 5..
It’s definitely worth building a lower trailer.
Is it the case of lets buy a pile of. old. almost useless machinery and it'll come in useful sometime😂
I thought you were going to fall to the ground, but I forgot about your plow.
nothing like cutting the trees as you go to make a clear path. got a digger then load it all by hand only the irish would do that looks like it would of been quicker to unload by hand as well
Spicy old girl, but damn, they they don't make em like that anymore
The name of the part that you need for the taildoor is a 'forket'!
Awesome video Alistair as usual. Please use better protective gear when using a chainsaw. :)
You must be training for no the pull lol😂
😂
I’m thinking you could step it up and add a second trailer 😉
Wow you look so different with out your gear on
That’s a good youbook video. No it’s a great one. It’s got you wonder will he make it not. Then top it off with the load and unload of the digger. Hey that’s what younook is made for.
I think I would be taking the excavator in the woods to load the firewood rather than breaking my back to lift it all. You know the old saying work smarter not harder. Lol
Wood only warms you up once if you do that.
if only you knew a good welder😂
.... i wonder if this is unreal
First 👍's up all123 thank you for sharing 🤗
At time stamp 39:00 Jesus the steering wheel comes off too🫣🤭👍🏴
looks like a fun time. what kind of tree was this?
makes a change from thermal lancing the death star and welding it back together again lol
What kind of work pants do you use . Thay look nice but can't find anything like them in the states
Great video! I would like to see the rest of your wood processing operation in action. What type of wood is that?
looks like beech
That's another great video you've put up here.
Is the old County tractor we see in the video a 1254 or a 1454 model ?? It's a pretty rare tractor to see anywhere these days.
She's a 1254, me da has two and a 1454
The story of my life!😅
Yed want to cut that grass.
a litle crane on the tipper and som hydrauliks.. u fix eeesy.. and a welder 4 the tailgait.. youst doo it. 🙂
What the fuck is that comment, fucking brain rot
a little south of genius. the steering wheel was the best. hey but if you want sumthin bad enough a fella will make do
Love it mate. Especially the steering wheel clamp. 😂🫣Guys like you are what life is all about.👍. Never stuck and thinking out of the box good luck
I'd say just find a trailer that's has a swivel tongue that you can use as a tag trailer without the rest of the trailer attached.
Using just the axle to carry the weight of the dump trailer tongue weight, and that'll take the weight off your dump buggy. Both will follow you like a puppy wagging it's tail.
Reverse will take some practice, but if dump truck operators can back up a full size dump truck with a tandom dual axle dump bed in tight places using mirrors only.
Then young fellow such as yourself shouldn't have a long learning curve figuring out best way to get trailer where he needs it..
If nothing else you can always unload mini digger, then use it to place trailer in difficult places, and then back up to the tag trailer with the your tow, rig to it.
Lotta words for simple solution to your situation at hand.
Should be too much labor to convert old front axle with a pintle hitch locking it to the tongue.
Might convert draw bar on dump buggy to pintle hitch too.
Especially on major inclines and declines with load on both ends.
Good luck however you solve it.
What type of wood were you cutting thought i saw sparks while you were cutting??
looks like beech, spark can be from hitting abit of metal or grit or even just from the chain rubbing on the bar
What a cracking couple of days fun !
What will we do for enjoyment when we're all forced to have heatpumps ?
We will not be told no....!
Not as long as the greenies let little kids mine for lithium to make new Tesla batteries....
Also if you can be fucked in future messing around vids id love to see you have a go at adjusting the idle immediately ooooor give us a sense of how long that might take.
