Back in the day, if you fixed the air leak, there were companies you could lease that truck on to pulling sea containers in Philly or Port Elizabeth NJ without even a tag or a drivers license of any kind. I know of two companies that pulled steel out of the Fairless Works that would have let you lease it on too. I remember an incident involving a guy that was the uncle of someone you know driving a truck for a guy who is the father of someone you know that went up to the mill, stopped at the guard house and had to get something out of the cab, opened the passenger door and it fell off smashing his toe. They were both P ed off at each other about it for quite a while
@@Only4Trucks Just curious, do you or you dad know the story of Ted Wadlinger's brother rolling JD Morrisy's dozer while loading it on a trailer. Jimmy Bencardino was with him, they were close friends. The dozer pinned him and it took a while to get a machine there to lift it off of him. But as soon as they lifted the machine he bled out and died. It was a damned shame
Well it’s a sweet old truck I love them old double sticks I’d love to drive them everyday hopefully you restore it to its former glory or sell it to someone who will. 👍🏻👍🏻
Great upload with " the group" Joe! Maybe you can start making longer videos going forward...I remember that 1st one I watched. it was you backing up that Ford tractor trailer in that tight ass space. I was white knuckled & claustrophobic viewing that but it was awesome 💯
