I have owned many many Honda's and Toyotas SUV and cars. Honda's by the furthest the most roughest drive, suspension sux. Toyotas drive quality is not bad but the bland interior and the driving dynamics are not as great as the Mazda. I found the seats in the Toyota have no give and very hard on your tailbone on long rides. I just used my Mazda to go up to Boston and the seats much better then the Toyota. The American auto makers make the best and most comfortable seating then most co. Just not reliable. These are my opinions and mine alone.
Seems like people overlook this one. Seems more classy than the rest.
Can I just say that I love how much we CX-9 owners love our cars? Haha

Can't believe the 2.5 litre 4 cyl. is pushing 320lb feet of torque! Also the gas mileage is great in city... This is a sleeper! Surprised it's not more popular
Got my 2021 AWD GT CX9 and it is fun to drive, has gotten me 23 to 24mpg regularly, my cons are yes 3rd row is small but we only need 2, cup holders don't hold the cups snug so they tilt easy, need tighter cup holder grips.
We have 2018 touring and love it. Really fun to drive- very quick, and very quiet and luxury feeling. Awesome sound system too. Amazing driving experience and gets lots of compliments on the looks.
I like the smooth lines of the Mazda SUVs. They don't look like something that's about to change into a transformer. I bought a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition Turbo w/ AWD. It's a sweet ride.

The Mazda CX-9 is really nice, but we ended up going with a Subaru Outback XT Touring. It has better mpg & is faster. We didn’t need the little 3rd row.
The 6 speed and space are my biggest problems.
What’s the problem with the 6 speed?
He wants it to shift 9 times before 30mph

The 6-speed actually makes the vehicle. It’s a great transmission to pair with this turbo 4.

Worst comes to worst this will drop in price by that time
Honestly it feels good to drive, but not feeling so good on the fuel consumption. Fuel isn't cheap in Australia.
