It's unfortunate that they view crying as a negative thing in general. But especially in this anime as it's used as one way to show how the generation of miracles have developed as characters.
I don't think they view it as negative but most guys especially in sports are taught that crying is weak or unnecessary and that when you lose you suck it up and move onto the next game. Where as in this show most games are treated as the end in some degree whether it be that the third years can't play anymore or might never have this chance again(Seirin with Kiyoshi) and the sadness is that there's no true rematch as teams will be different and such and in the case of the miracles they never lost before so each loss hurts more for them.
They could also be tired of seeing it so much in other shows. Like Deku in my hero cried more than necessary imo. But I don’t think it’s that bad in Kuroko no Bakset
@@nengalish5332 Probably but I do think that people get annoyed at crying easily nowadays as between Deku and others it feels more before even if it isn't I think in manga sometimes it's hard to show how a character feels without voice acting or small little details in eyes or face and such so I'm assuming the manga artist uses crying to show how sad a character is whereas you could otherwise tell with tone and such which is what anime is for but since they're adapting the manga they won't make changes like that Plus I think a lot of adults sometimes forget these are like 15-16-year-old kids/teens and this is like the saddest thing ever to them where to us it's either a memory (don't play high school sports anymore) and can't perfectly recall those feelings or from the outside looking in and can't fully empathize with them
