In the manga which is the original ending, Kagami stays back in japan and continues to play with seirin, they just changed it in the movie. This was one of the best games which everyone wanted to see all Generation of miracles playing together and all of them did a Great job with their contribution to the plays. I hate Extra Game. It contradicts the original Anime/Manga. It was stated the GOM are the greatest players of their era and that if anyone came who surprises them it wouldn’t be until the “very distant” future. Akashi and Aomine especially have their superiority complex contradicted. Akashi at least won in the end 1v1 but the fact he had to evolve to do it was cringe. How the hell was Murasakibara in base better than Zone Aomine if he went back to practicing??? Why didn’t Nash use his abilities much earlier in the game and they should have been wasting time much sooner than the last seconds of the game. And the whole seeing the future of the court and then Akashi being able to see deeper than that was stupid. In the original series the abilities were kept somewhat grounded with decent explanations

Aomine - Finally playing as a team. And top scorer of the match. Kuroko & kagami - the bond which they shared and that climax This movie delivers whatever fans wanted from it.
I wish the movie was a little longer cuz they missed out on so much opportunities like Murasakibaras Thors hammer , Kagamis Meteor jam , Kurokos overflow considering they'll never face Jabberwock again and it's a do or die match , Akashi putting his team in the Zone...and my last problem is if they really needed subs why not just give the stage to the Uncrowned kings ? Hyuga Takao and Wakamatsu ? Ffs 😂😂
A little fun fact: That last line Aomine and Kagami said "Die, Jabberwock" is actually a play on the fact that Vorpal Sword is the name of the sword that killed Jabberwocky. Also a note, there's a difference between the animated movie and manga. For one in the manga, they did actually play outside and not in the gym. And Kagami didn't leave Japan, the last few panel in the last game manga actually showed the hs teams practice and Kagami was seen with Seirin.
The whole monkey insult is more of an anime thing than an interpretation of Americans. A lot of other anime have calling someone a monkey as just a simple insult, like Gordon Ramsey calling someone a donkey.

I think they made the villains american not necessarily for some personal feeling toward americans, but because America is the best country at basket ball and that's it. The opposite, in fact, most of them find Americans to be joyful and fun. Maybe some of the elderly population has some resentment, but Japan and America these days are really friendly allies.

It's unrealistic. The stamina burn is insane to keep that up for longer than a few minutes let alone a quarter. But Kise can turn that sht up anytime he wants so he will be absolutely unstoppable within its duration.
not everyone can enter zone. akashi can't enter zone again and it's evident in this movie. kise can't enter zone after this coz he will get injured more. midorima can't, murasakibara can't afer he was defeated by kagami, even the monster opponents from America can't enter zone. only Aomine and kagami can't get through zone whenever they decided. that's because Aomine is the most skillful even though he doesn't practice his skills is overflowing, kagami is different because he worked harder than anybody else.
I really wish we could've seen Haizaki. It would be nice for some kind of spin off, theres always a possible way. Maybe a spin off That touches up on Kuroko year's Later, or maybe a spin off on the other teams or Players that we hardly see, like Papa,Haizaki,Hamamya.

They should’ve made Kagami in the NBA series anime. A lot of foreign Asians besides Yao Ming haven’t made a difference. Two Europeans have and it’s a good thing. As a black man, I think other nations have other skill sets to beat us in games.
I love this movie because they kept the vibe of the show. In the show (especially in the beginning) Kagami wasn't on the level of the generation of miracles yet so he needed his team (Specifically Kuroko's support) to match them and win. Jabberwock's players (especially Nash and Silver) are above them in skill as individual players but for the most part their teamwork sucks, so they lost. At the end of the day it's a team sport.

They should’ve made Kagami in the NBA series anime. A lot of foreign Asians besides Yao Ming haven’t made a difference. Two Europeans have and it’s a good thing. As a black man, I think other nations have other skill sets to beat us in games.

I love this movie because they kept the vibe of the show.
In the show (especially in the beginning) Kagami wasn't on the level of the generation of miracles yet so he needed his team (Specifically Kuroko's support) to match them and win.
Jabberwock's players (especially Nash and Silver) are above them in skill as individual players but for the most part their teamwork sucks, so they lost.
At the end of the day it's a team sport.
