For anyone that dont know grimedaily got shut down back in the dayyyy (2011), unfortunately it had loads of views and freestyles that will never be recovered (classic Ghetts Vs P Money Freestyles etc.. Fortunately some have been re-uploaded).... this channel is GRM daily which was made in 2012 by the same founders as Grime Daily... This channel isn't going anywhere!! Hope this gives context.
As if bonkers was the song to kick start the commercial wave... it was wearing my rolex by Wiley- 3 episodes in and there's no mention of wiley in UK music wowo wowoow
@Robin Coiffeuse @Robin Coiffeuse Wiley - wearing my rolex was may 2008 ... right when Grime struggling to push to the next level. Dizzee - bonkers was may 2009. Wearing my rolex changed the weather in UK Urban music, in terms of how they started to compete for chart positions. From Dizzee (bonkers) N- Dubz , Tinchy stryda, tiao cruz, tinie, lambrith, even skepta (rescue me, badboy, sunglasses at night,) - man that weren't feeling this kind of UK music from 2007 -2011 was locked in to the mixtape craze of UK street rap as giggs, dubz, young meth, J spadez and a bag of other man started taking over the streets.
Black Kings celebrating together 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 The shots of Posty, Jamal and Rashid toasting is everything. Future Multi Billion Pound industry in one shot. Salutes 💯
I remember when it went down.. I grew up with grime from the early days.. losing Grime Daily was a critical hit! ... look at where the persistence and hard work got you..big up everyone that helped to make and keep it rolling 👊🏾
2010 such an iconic time of my life. Year 7 life was good. So mad looking back and seeing how it’s so linked to now and how it’s shaped the industry today. Mad
It’s so great that this story is being told. I remember the Grime Daily blog and reading it for all the updates on the scene. Happy to see it go from strength to strength 👏
They had to...no way you can leave Ghetts out. He’s a true OG, from the day when he used to be called “Ghetto”, with Kano and the rest of the Hackney/Bow/Forest Gate massive.. true pioneers of this sound...
Watching this documentary has given me an immense respect for the early African American Hip Hop pioneering entrepreneur's because those dudes actually owned everything and henceforth became incredibly wealthy...but these British Dons don't own anything because they are all employees. Posty and his fellow RUclips mates are simply employees of RUclips while the rest are just major establishment record label representatives, that's why Stormzy is always the only one from the scene on any list of high earning individuals.
*Posty started moving with the elites & busting JuJu to get back in power. His day 1 Pierre basically told him to fuk off cos all money ain't good money, that's why he left a business like grm. Big respect to Pierre.*
Dominic Knowles but he says in this he couldn’t just start a new one cos it would get taken down and they were trying to talk to RUclips. Then they just started a new one and it didn’t get taken down

As if bonkers was the song to kick start the commercial wave... it was wearing my rolex by Wiley- 3 episodes in and there's no mention of wiley in UK music wowo wowoow
Dizzie Rascal mentioned him once but it was only him, ironically lol

What’s the instrumental at the end?
Yo man dizzie is 🐐
Anyone know what the track the sample is from at the very end? When they are talking about the next episode. 23 mins or so in
Sad to see still their music haven’t reached outside UK by themselves other than being promoted by an American artists
You mean UK not England
What you mean?? UK artist are popping in Ireland, Canada and Australia
@@jadenkrizz as I said drake promoted their music by giving them features everyone started listening to their music (just the hype not real fans)
What’s all this about looks intense
So what's the most likely explanation as to why it was deleted ?
Can anyone link the background tune @ 16:56 ? Thanks 🙏🏼
