I am 50 years old, have worked in music and events for over 25 years and this film series makes me proud! This is just the beginning. Akala for PM all day every day!!
This was so powerful, emotional, and eye opening to UK Black culture and the whole society. I could watch this over and over, amazing work to everyone!
As an American that has REALLY started going hard to push UK music this year, I appreciate this series because it helped put into words the exact reasons why platforms like GRM are so important. Thank you.
Man chats about empowerment and rising together but God forbid you try and resolve a misunderstanding with him. Then he'll pull up to your house 4 man deep.
If you’re reading this bruv (or bruvette), understand that you are amazing bro, have a blessed week and don’t let nobody ruin your day bro. Get ya bread and all the crumbs too. Stack and act broke 🤧💯🙏🏾
Yo man these docuseries was fokin A1 bro. Been following grime daily/the scene from literally day 1 and this just captured all the highlights so perfectly. The evolution has been MADD and only gunna get MADDER
Good morning bro, i love ur comment, i was about to come put my own, heartfelt genuine opinion on the 4 vids, however, i could just see loads of....trash talk and folly....then i came across your comment 👊🏾💪🏾👌🏾
Sensuational stuff. Heart felt. Passion filled authenticly unapologetically black ....my body, my aura, and spirit is pulsating with proudness... manners and respect 👊🏾
You don’t understand how proud i am of this!! Growing up in Marple being the only black kid in my school, no one else apart from one other guy loving grime music, and seeing where it is now is beautiful. ❤️❤️ This will do so much for young kids growing up right now outside of just london even those young Afrikan kids who live in middle class white areas yes we do exist and theirs a lot of us and it makes us proud our music is finally being respected
This story is what makes me proud to be British. The fact that a few second generation black immigrants, against all odds, managed to create a cultural movement the likes of which has never been seen before in this country. ❤️❤️
Man I almost dropped my tears... I've discovered UK drillers and trappers last year and it was the best thing I discovered. Don't ever stop sharing the talent of UK! GRM is made for the culture and u absolutely smashed. Love from Barcelona, Spain!
This one of the best things I’ve seen in a while. Thanks GRM for introducing us to uk black culture. I’m just a brazilian young black man who shares the feeling of “damn I wish we had a GRM in Brasil”... and you guys are just inspiring so many people from here, you’re pulling the grime, drill and afrobeat scene to our country indirectly. Thank you again. Thank you 1 thousand times.
Loved this documentary! Buzzing to see how everyone started and where they are now! These are the people ive followed since early 2000s and theyve come a long way and im happy for them
Not a british. dont even live in England and never been but i'm black and i love hip hop i love rap. i truly truly enjoy UKs rap scene. GREAT GREAT work GRM DAILY for real.
The future is bright GRM, may it be filled with blessings after blessings. Everyone is watching now this is your moment. Shine together my brothers and sisters
There's a segment where I believe they try to make a point about now being able to do it without major labels however most of the artists highlighted are signed to major labels. GRM has accomplished a lot and I'm grateful but that part doesn't make much sense. I was always under the impression that record labels are losing rn but if you see most of the artists GRM champion, they are the ones signed to these majors...
Dave is on a different level and I feel every word he spat was nothing but the truth which is why it was so touching and truly made me feel frustrated and angry with my self for letting the animals that are in charge of the law the country the banks everything basically chemtrails drugs on road aswell let’s not get it twisted I could go on hopefully someone else will run the country sooner than later because things will only get more corrupt I vote for someone like Dave to run our country and bang up the puppets every one in the system has got to go new police force the lot x
Posty never did it for money he could of become a lawyer and never made GRM daily but he did because he had hope in the Uk black community. One thing i ask is can you promote more Indian artist from the Uk I really want to see someone like Stomzy do a song with an Indian artist. That would be mad.
and they've taken down Abra's Freestyle and On Deck! over +5mill views each just gone! feels like NY in the 90s still... things dont change, stay grinding

Without the rated awards our artists wouldn’t get no awards from these mainstream platforms. 👊🏻 🥇
May God wonderfully bless you and your family

From this point, we can only grow. The door has been open for us, let's take advantage of that. And we Will rise together.
I’m happy to see GRM, SBTV, Link Up and Mixtape Madness are together helping the scene and culture.
