The "Orange Fishies" are Garibaldi they are the official marine state fish of California and are protected in California coastal waters. They are is frequently seen La jolla, and thoughout Southern California.

yeah, the visability wasnt the greatest on this dive... still very much cooler than being on dry land! Part of the reason is that the water absorbs the red and yellow light spectrum resulting in green coloring.
