    Very nice! That was the first local video I've seen where the diver doesn't move the camera or swim after the sharks. I especially love the first shot of the shark swimming over you.Great camera work.

      Thanks for the kind words. I was on a rebreather so I just had to wait around and the sharks would pass by me, often right over me like you saw in the opening shark shot.

      @@pacificcoast101 dont spread misinformation like that. You know as well as everyone else on this earth that sharks are well known to attack humans in many documented cases.
      Just because something isnt common, doesnt mean it doesnt happen.

    Planning on going here this summer with my brothers to go Snorkeling.
    It'll be our first time snorkeling in the ocean, we're from Utah.
    Any tips on what to look out for?

    • @saltytsp

      what month you going??? Sometimes Leopard sharks are everywhere (they are harmless, never attack) In August I believe. But its cool to go out of the cove and swim around sea lions and then turn right and go to the caves by Goldfish Point. Then if in season youd have to swim or go to La Jolla shores for Leopard Sharks. Also a cool spot in the city of Laguna Beach. Crescent Bay/ Shaws Cove. Snorkel to Seal Rock maybe a kelp forest is growing with sea lions around and Shaws Cove has lots of cut throughs and reefs. Crescent Bay also has a bathroom..... try to not warm your wetsuit whenever possible LOL Safe Travels.

    What shark/s are those at 1:14??? Dove La Jolla for many years a lot and have never seen that type. 90% sure I saw a juvenile Great White a year ago but low visibility. Hard to be certain exactly what it was.

    Cool footage! Is it really safe for snorkelers? I mean, the sevengills are supposed to be territorial not to mention the fact that where there's seals, there's probably great whites. Ahhh! I want to snorkel here so bad, I live in SD, any tips? Also, have there been any attacks inside the cove/great white spottings??

    • @Spdft
      @Spdft 8 лет назад +2
