!!! Did you say Conelia??!!🥰👏 Well it’s all good in the Big Bear Valley nest now! I love how Jackie directs shadow when she flies off. I am so happy to see him, tad worried about him.❤️ This is so exciting.. Lord let it be please…All Glory to you for giving us these amazing Bald Eagles..🙏🎈
It's 9.10am in Q'ld Australia. 27th Jan. First time seeing 2 eggs. Watched video of Jackie on nest doing her thing. Those dreamy eyes. Then came Shadow. Mucking about sorting where to be. Wind blowing. Happy times this time.....❤🎉😮😂
OMG!! Shadow is a good husband , and he will be a good Daddy, love the way he is very carefully with the eggs, he sat soo gentle!! Thanks Cali, for this beautiful video!! Praying for those eggs to hatch!! 🙏🙏❤❤
I love their teamwork. What Mother Nature puts our wildlife through, as humans we can’t imagine. This teaches us so much. Thanks for all the videos. Keep them coming. Can’t wait to see little eaglets. 🙏🦅🦅
Shadow is so gentle with the eggs❤ So sweet! He's a good dad! I'm sure Jackie was very happy that he showed up. She was probably starving and needed to use the " ladies room"😊 All good in their high-rise👍 Thank you Cali. I'm sure you're ecstatic!!❤ 👑🦅💞🥚🥚💞👑🦅
I laughed out loud when I saw the pine cone drop near Jackies beak! Especially since it was Jackie who (accidentally?) kicked Coneilia out of the nest before. What wonderful couple. What a great video!
Wonderful to see S take a Top Perch atop Simba Limb and slide down it to the Nest and inspect #2 egg and start digging in Nest floor and finally settle into first incubation turn. Sounds like J dimly in the background Chortling to him and announcing their current nest yr is right @ expectations. It takes two Eagles to make a Nest with Eggs and once again we have that first step accomplished. Good for Snow to drop off so our E Pair can be observed by Viewers looking in . Thanks Cali for good Show of out Eagles starting a 37 + day odyssey and hoping for good results !
This fascinates my heart!! Bless these two precious friends of ours! I’m excited for a wonderful outcome of babies for J. & S. this yr.!! 🤞🏼🙏. I love you J.&S.! ❤
I wish every mom in the wild animal kingdom mated had a mate for life and had the dad around like eagles do and raise their babies together like the eagles ❤
Thanks for your excellent videos. Just amazing watching nature take its course. I hope the weather is less challenging for J &J this year. It was brutal last year.
There are some seemingly big waves out on the lake where the winds hit the water. They come and go. Happy for Jackie and Shadow that this is another chance to raise eaglets.
That’s just priceless for the nest to catch that pine cone! Shadow enters as quite the rakish hero with that landing. I may need to compare him to a Clark Gable with his swagger and winning looks! I was hoping he’d bring Jackie breakfast in bed. What are we thinking now- is there a third Eggbert headed their way late on Tuesday? Jackie’s body language has sent enough mixed signals to keep me wondering. “Maybe so, maybe not?”
@bellelise. LOL, it's so funny & I'm such a worry wort for them, especially in the winter! I'm hoping we get healthy eaglettes in about a month or so! ❤🙏🏼❤
Maybe it's a different video I'm thinking of, but when I saw Jackie stand up after laying her first egg, I thought I saw here stand around for awhile, leaving her first egg exposed to the elements for some time? She didn't fly away, she sort of hung out for a bit? Isn't that a strange thing for her to do? Right after laying it, I would think that leaving the egg exposed would be putting her new chick at risk, what with all the heartache and disappointment they've already endured?? I'm hoping I'm just confused.
Coneilia almost got her smack on the beak. That was a very rude awakening. Shadow is always eager, if a little bit clumsy, to do his part in the business of incubation. They are a team and it is amazing to watch them.
Jackie too she works so hard poor thing you can tell her feathers are a bit out of sort you know ruffled lol Well Shadow looks so smooth and collective lol
Conelia!! Poor Jackie , while on egg sitting duty no less,.. so she can't get up and kick it off again. I notice she's got a little black spot on her head...is that just a dirt spot ? or is she getting a patch of dark feathers ?? So happy for this eggs to become eaglets for two of the best parents I Know...
Shadows low back feathers look messed up, hanging straight down. At first I thought just wet, but I noticed the ones on on top looked tattered, and almost zagged like had been cut or something, they dont look ok, anyone?
I JUST HAD A VERY SAD THOUGHT. I read bird flu has killed more than 130 million US birds. Now I’m so worried about these two. Ugh. And trump ordered that no info about bird flu not be made public. Even to hospitals.
It just takes TOO LONG fir either Jackie or Shadow to lay on the eggs. The eggs get chilled. I've watched this before with this couple. Once, last year, I timed it, and it took Shadow 20 minutes to get on the eggs. The eggs were out in cold weather that long. This time, it took about 3-4 minutes. Instead of waiting for Shadow to come in on a branch nearby, she just leaves when she sees him flying or by a tree. The eggs are too fragile for minutes off of them in cold, high altitude conditions.
they are doing that because they know they’re not done laying eggs. If you look at the first description information when she laid the first egg it explained. I was not aware of it but she knows how many eggs she’s gonna lay and when she’s done she will lay on there and won’t leave them unattended. This way they are intentionally not incubating too far ahead of the last egg that might be coming
It’s called delayed incubation. This ensures the chicks are close in age/development when they hatch. Gives them better chance of survival. The eagles core temperature is 105 so those eggs are toasty warm.

Bless this nest and Jackie & Shadow egg#1 & egg2 please keep them safe and pray they have little eaglets to enjoy
I love how Shadow can be a total klutz with branches but he is so careful and gentle during Daddy duty on the nest.
Right? Rather than crashing right into the nest, he lands out on the perch and then carefully enters the nest.
Yes!! He’s taking care of the eggs, and he lay down so softly, what a good husband and dad he is!❤
Shadow is such a good mate!!

All good in their high-rise👍
Thank you Cali. I'm sure you're ecstatic!!❤
👑🦅💞🥚🥚💞👑🦅
Dang that landed! Oh my I hope the snow isn’t as bad as it was last year!!!
Shadow loves his nest time ❤
Yes he does 😍
He really does. It’s precious 😍
I laughed out loud when I saw the pine cone drop near Jackies beak! Especially since it was Jackie who (accidentally?) kicked Coneilia out of the nest before. What wonderful couple. What a great video!
It's a beautiful and peaceful scene to watch these two amazing and brave souls.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jackie and Shadow you are Amazing ❤What a love story you have! Praying for precious little eagets❤❤
❤I LOVE WATCHING JACKIE & SHADOW AND 2 NEW EGGS❤❤❤

Precious little eaglets❤

Thank you for sharing with us!!
🖤 🦅 🤍
Love shadow gently nudging the eggs closer together❤
So gently and gingerly. Those talons are so sharp!
Fingers crossed these 2 make it to pip, I was depressed for weeks after the last sad outcome🤞
Coneilia: Take that, featherbrain! 😂 😂
They are so beautiful. It sure is windy !!!
Seeing these two work as one! What a sight! Thank you for the up close video..❤
Teamwork ❤! Wouldn’t it be nice if all “mates” were like our eagle population? Their dedication to each other is amazing!
I wish every mom in the wild animal kingdom mated had a mate for life and had the dad around like eagles do and raise their babies together like the eagles ❤
Wow! They got snow after all the strong wind yesterday .... 🌬 ❄
Welcome home Conelia, we missed you so much , now our family is complete ❤
Conelia, thar is hilarious!😂
Loved Shadow’s reaction when he saw the first egg, a long stare, then looking around like “Where did this come from?”
Good to see Shadow take over for Jackie on this snowy, windy day
They are such great parents!
Bless you Jackie and shadow! I love your comittment to each other. Beast wishes for your two new eggs.
Seems like it's been a long time since any fish delivery since the eggs arrived. Maybe I missed something.
Love those too❤
LOL 🤣. I love these giant, majestic bird creatures but if I had to live under those harsh elements, I'd look angry and stern all the time also. 😉
Thabks for the great video, it was so much fun to watch Jackie playing with the pine cone yesterday!
Thanks for your excellent videos. Just amazing watching nature take its course. I hope the weather is less challenging for J &J this year. It was brutal last year.

Victory for the Fluffy heads 🦅🫶🦅
I hope the eggs 🥚 🪺 hatch this year for our beautiful birds 🐦 ❤❤❤
Double your pleasure, Shadow! You took a good turn at incubating so far today! I'm elated for both of you!
That is just the sweetest thing ☺️ 💕
Brrrrr…..really? In the mist of winter? Eggs? Whoa…..these birds have stamina!❤️❤️❤️❤️
It is so windy! Poor Jackie❤
Have we started counting days yet? Hoping and praying for a healthy family. 🦅🙏🏼
Shadow, you are such a character . He loves his nest❤
Jackie’s eggs; Shadows puzzle ! 😎🇺🇸
Let's hope the weather co-operates this winter and chicks hatch. The past two years that I have been watching have been very sad.
I know that wind is cold. I sure hope there aren’t any lapses incubating the eggs since it is so cold there.
Shadow and Jackie have it so difficult. The Florida nests have already hatched. Poor J and S. Hopefully, this year will be better for them. 😢
Cali your humour is the best! Love Conelia 😂😂

That's amazing so sweet 😍 shadow and Jackie
What a good daddy ❤
Oh my gosh! II was so worried the tree would fall in the wind!!! An eagle net weighs 1.1 ton on average.
Love these 2
lol...while watching this live I thought I saw something bop Jackie's head!
Haha so funny, conelia's revenge 🤣
Does any look at the weather forecast for that area every day? I do.
Oh yes, absolutely! 👍🏻😉👍🏻
😂 I do too.
@bellelise.

I love them J&S🦅♥️🦅♥️🥚
We’re so grateful to see the beloved pair team up with their two little ones in 2025❤
Good papa❤
What a good daddy!!
Darn wind!!
Coneilia almost got her smack on the beak. That was a very rude awakening. Shadow is always eager, if a little bit clumsy, to do his part in the business of incubation. They are a team and it is amazing to watch them.
Jackie is off the eggs. They need to stay warm. Shadow you quickly moved it. Thank you
Had to slow it down to .25 to catch the start of the moment - 0:11 - fun & funny capture. 0:50 - twice eggs. 1:25 - Look out: Dad's back.
Jackie too she works so hard poor thing you can tell her feathers are a bit out of sort you know ruffled lol Well Shadow looks so smooth and collective lol

I'm laughing so hard, I peed on myself.
I hope he stays awhile..a few hours until shift change
Shadow takes care of his baby Jackie is his one and only. He takes care of her very well. Wherever she leaves off he takes over.
Shadows low back feathers look messed up, hanging straight down. At first I thought just wet, but I noticed the ones on on top looked tattered, and almost zagged like had been cut or something, they dont look ok, anyone?
His feathers underneath sure look all torn up.😢
That’s the opening to his brood patch - The featherless skin the eggs lay against when the adult bird is incubating the eggs.
Wonderful. Simp!y wonderful. 😍
🦅🦅🥚🥚❤️❤️🙏🏻
Oh no, not 🍍! Love these two, and their sweet little eggs. Prayers for their family 🦅🦅🥚🥚❤️
❤️🥚❤🥚
So only two eggs this time? Praying for baby eagles.
❤🦅❤️🦅
I love watching her with the far out pine cone… She plays just exactly what a human being would do with playful emotions…
Wonder if Coneilia will try to sneak into the nest bowl?
🥚🥚🦅🦅❤️
❤
How long did shadow brood?
Hoping for eaglets.
We’re certainly on the right track 🤞
Как можно их различить? Очень рада, что Джеки улетела отдохнуть, надеюсь, и позавтракает хорошо.
Jackie has a wider beak than Shadow.
And Jackie is bigger than Shadow.
У Джеки макушка плоская. У Шэдоу она кругленькая. Я всегда определяю так: если можно начертить круг на голове у них, то это Шэдоу 😁
Fly high and free little E24 bless him(swfl nest)
Coneilia doesn't make good fluff. 😄
Who is coneilia?
That was already answered in the description, which is probably why no one has taken the time to reply to you in over 6 hours. 🤪
Was Shadow tucking little white feathers around the eggs?
Hello better use everything he can find they have no fluff
@ Don't worry. This happens every year. Never enough fluff for the humans. They'll get around to it.😊
what is Coneilia's
The pine cone. 😊
I JUST HAD A VERY SAD THOUGHT. I read bird flu has killed more than 130 million US birds. Now I’m so worried about these two. Ugh. And trump ordered that no info about bird flu not be made public. Even to hospitals.
Yeah!! Where was Shadow all night while Jackie was braving the storm?? Melaney from San Clamenete
He's in the roost tree off to the left where Jackie & Shadow are typically when they're not spending time their in the nest.
It's almost always the female eagle that does the night shift on a nest. They are bigger than the males, so provide more warmth/shelter.
I can hardly believe the stuff Jackie sleeps through.
Then again, she just gave birth…..
🥰🤗👍💙🩵🥶
Who is Cornelia?
It's a nickname for one of the pine cones in the nest 😉
The pinecone..
@barbarap5278 ohhh. Thank you. Whew. Thought is was another eagle
