IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING SOUND FROM THE GAMING PC on the STREAMING PC:
    - Ensure you have set the audio device on your Gaming PC as the capture card (make sure all your games/apps that you are running are doing this too).
    - Ensure you have made an “audio output” source in your OBS/Streamlabs on the streaming PC.

What are the reasons for having OBS open on the gaming PC if you can just clone your display within the GPU display settings and send the signal to the capture card without having to set up full screen projecions or even open OBS? Great vid, thanks!

@@alexkayracing thanks for the quick response! Great, I just figure it's probably less strenuous on the system by not having OBS open on the gaming PC. However, cloning the display could possibly be more strenuous on the PC in possibly different ways than having obs open in the background, so I'll test to see if either yields better results for my hardware config. Either way should be very minimal to performance, so it probably doesn't even matter but it's worth a try, I'll let you know my test results!

When streaming and recording simultaneously on my 3060, I take a 15 to 20% performance hit to my framerate, which is still impressive that it's only that much of a loss, but I only had 120 FPS in WZ to begin with. Losing 15 to 20% performance is alot at that low of a framerate, so a two pc setup is absolutely beneficial and objectively SENSIBLE. I know from experience. Have you benchmarked your performance hit when streaming and recording on one GPU? If it's a 0% loss, which it won't be, then you can say it's not sensible, but only then. 🤷
