GREEN You said: "It only takes like a half hour to do." No... it only took YOU a half hour to do. It only takes you 3 hours to do 1000 piece puzzles. It takes me forever to do those. I have to plan my life around them.
Chris Martin I have never ever done a 1000 piece puzzle in a day, let alone 3 hours. Or a 500 piece puzzle, for that matter. For me, puzzling is like enjoying a fine wine. I take my time. 😊
Never has anything ever been said more truthful than what you just stated right here it takes me forever to do a puzzle like that she can do them so fast it's just mind-blowing! And I'm not even sure if Karen knows how good she is. Karen do you know how good you are?
Ok I sort of love how you keep beating Chris Ramsey’s times, lol! I wonder if the amount of normal puzzling you do helps with these sorts of teasers or if you’re just good at picking up on patterns? Would you ever want to try one of his puzzle boxes?
I've been watching Chris Ramsey for a log time now and I really like that you two have different approach to solve the same puzzles :D And it really fun and interesting that you have beaten his time especially that this is more a brain teaser than regular jigsaw puzzle :) Congrats!
@@KarenPuzzles And to be totally fair, what my comment should really say is "with the amount of money I have spent on actual jigsaw puzzles lately, it is probably a REALLY good idea for me to watch Karen do these, rather than add them to my own collection." So thank you for that because I do find them very interesting!
I have reverse engineered and 3D printed many of these puzzles from videos like this one, but I am not planning on revealing that to the world out of respect for Yuu Asaka and the others. It can be done though, but to be honest it's a much bigger challenge to figure out the maths of it than it is to solve it. It took me 4 iterations and 5 hours of CAD planning for the Ice 9 puzzle to get it just right, and I haven't even started with this one. But I got it for free :)
Yes! Just the comment I was looking for. Awesome job!! I gasped out loud when your time was better than Chris’s. And you did have the timer running while talking, too. 🥳
What's interesting is that the pieces could be flipped upside down so you have to test both sides for each piece. I like that there is no standardized terminology for puzzles. Other hobbies have a "correct" jargon but it's fun to see what different people come up with on their own. (I call the innies and outies female and male bits)
I just watched one of your videos where you did a 5000 piece puzzle and here's some advice to make doing big puzzles more comfortable: - Get a higher table!!!!!! Puzzling is supposed to be chill, satisfying, meditative, and not straining on the back. - Get an office chair to sit in when you're not solving the centers of the puzzle. - You could turn on some music if you think it could enhance your puzzling experience. - Get MORE tables (or just one bigger one)! Later you could move the tables to join the puzzle together instead of having to move everything to the floor, which I don't even know how you did in the first place, but I'm guessing it wasn't easy. - Take frequent breaks. It's not a race. Not sure how frequent your breaks are but some people really go at it for hours. I'd say you should take a 5 minute break every hour of puzzling. It really takes off some of the strain.
I really like how the finished puzzle looks. The green against the stark white is an interesting contrast. I like to do both these types of teaser puzzles and jigsaw puzzles although I like jigsaw puzzles more.
You have such a good eye for puzzle pieces that this is a piece of cake for you. I wouldn't do them myself, as I don't have a high frustration tolerance 😅 Love the look of the puzzle though. This seethrough, glass like appearance.
Everyone comments about how amazing it is that you beat chris' time but honestly I wasn't surprised - you puzzle with logic and he just tries things out very fast. You oftentimes beat his time whenever there is a brain teaser puzzle
I have done custom 3d printed Puzzles/brain teasers and I like them. I like a challenge. Yu- Asaka puzzles, I think, are well made. The green pieces looked clean
I once did a wooden puzzle with non-unique pieces, which relies more on following the image than puzzle shape, but I didn't find it to be very difficult. This green one would be a fun challenge!
I've watched Mr Puzzle do a lot of this series of puzzles so I knew what you were in for. It was fun seeing your approach, as someone who does jigsaws, rather than the brain teaser people who usually do these. Well done!! Oh, and, green!! For once I couldn't work it into my comment😂
Just discovered your channel recently, and I'm glad I did. Even though I have little experience with SOLVING puzzles, I still find it interesting to see other people try their hand at solving. Also, love the GREEN hue of these pieces!
I’m GREEN with envy that you can do a puzzle like that and I don’t have the patience for it. Thank you for sharing your videos, I have so much fun watching them.
I love the green color and I like how you added a side camera angle. And congratulations on beating Chris's time I watched Chris do this puzzle quite a while ago. And to answer your question I mostly stick to traditional puzzles but I love those type as well.
I stick to traditional puzzles, but I've enjoyed watching Chris Ramsey attempt to open puzzle boxes. Those are pretty neat but the best ones are ridiculously expensive. $$$ GREEN! Is my fave color.
i just realized this sounded a little weird. I meant I wouldn't get to experience these puzzles at all if you didn't do them. So thank you for sharing.
Hey hey! 😊 Just wanted to tell you I just bought my first puzzle (1000 pieces) after binge watching some of your videos. You nevee mentioned the awesome smell the pieces have once they get out of the bag. 🤣 Thank you for enabling this new hobby. 💛
I am subscribed to Chris Ramsays channel and he does ones like this every now and then. He would be so proud of you as well as I am! I am "GREEN" with envy that you did that so fast! :)
greeeeeeeen! I just love brainteaser puzzles. I hate doing normal jigsaw puzzles but you just have this pure happy energy that makes me enjoy watching you do them. Cant wait to see the other 2 teasers
I ordered this one and did it before watching your video. It was just the right amount of challenge. It was too expensive though. I like the idea of taking it apart and doing again. My grandson's favorite color is green so maybe I'll get him to try it.
Fun Green Puzzle ! Added difficulty since you can't tell what are the front and back to each piece. I could definitely see this being a fun holiday challenge for the family, especially if other teasers are there for everyone to work on and time against one another!
They are all the same clear Green. I can easily see how I would forget how it arranges the next time I tackled it! Describing the pieces: I see heads, arms, waists, legs on most puzzles. 4-headed ones are stars, two heads on opposite ends are lizards, 4-legged ones look like saw blades, at least, to me.
I'm green with envy over your new space. :-) Love the new setup. Your former roommate seemed like a very nice person but that new puzzle space is prime!
What a cool puzzle. Thanks for also bringing up the quality and type of materials used on each puzzle. I never thought that puzzle-guru existed until I found your channel! lol
It's cool that its a solid green puzzle. I personally like regular jigsaws more, but ive been trying to get into larger piece counts (2000+) and its hard! A lot of the brands like Ravensburger are out of stock now and i cant find any like 3000 pc i like on amazon or in stores :(
good job karen! I would love to watch some competition with other puzzle youtubers or experts. It could be so much fun, specially with this GREEN puzzle lol Love your videos keep it going!
While I agree, not the best price, I love the idea of having that out on a coffee table or something as interactive decor. But of course, maybe in a color other than "GREEN"
"Take that Chris Ramsey! I don't know Chris Ramsey..." LOL! I really hate brain teaser puzzles so I would never get this but it was fun watching you do the GREEN one!
That looked super hard. I misread the guy's timer that you showed and thought he'd done it in 31 seconds! Well done for beating his (actual) time. Green!
Green😁. Karen I love your videos! I love puzzling, you make it look so easy. I have learned a ton from you, thank you. I look forward to your next video.
Have you ever done this puzzle where every piece is a corner piece? How long did it take you?
I did it .it took me 40-50 minutes
No! But I like to do it
I have never tried a jigsaw puzzle like this one before, but I would attempt to try it out some day. I saw one Russian guy did it, his time was 28:44
To be fair, chris never pauses his timer while explaining the puzzle, i guess thats where those 5 mins went 😅 now we'll never know
I did it and I loved it! It didn't take me all too long, but I didn't take the time. You should definitely try the light blue one, I LOVE it!

This green one looked cool, but for the price I think I will stick to physical jigsaw and paper brain teasers. Thank you for showing it to us.
That's totally fair! There are tons of cheaper brainteasers in the world!

@@hopegold883 lol yea I love him tbh i tweeted this at him earlier hehe

When I do puzzles with my 5yo son, we call them "nubbins" and "slotties"
For some strange reason I call the outies “pips” 🤷♀️

Also, I was thinking this was a puzzle Chris Ramsey would do, and you were right!
I was so excited to see his video after I tried it for myself!
i'd ABSOLUTELY love to watch more of you solving brain teasers. it's such an adorable sight to see you struggle with it sometimes😭😭
I really like how the finished puzzle looks. The green against the stark white is an interesting contrast. I like to do both these types of teaser puzzles and jigsaw puzzles although I like jigsaw puzzles more.
i dont think im physically capable of doing brain teasers anymore, i get “gifted student” flashbacks
When I saw the title of a puzzle with all corners I couldn’t picture it in my head. That is a cute Green puzzle but not worth $40.
You have such a good eye for puzzle pieces that this is a piece of cake for you. I wouldn't do them myself, as I don't have a high frustration tolerance 😅

Your videos are always great and positive! Happy you could beat his time on this "green" puzzle 😊
Another ace video Karen, happy to have seen you complete this green puzzle! Have a great week!
I'm sure the joke has been made already but "Oops, All Corners!"

Obviously that's our top priority here 😂
Loves your videos, I've been binge watching your videos. I'm a puzzles lover too.
Green. Wow well done Karen
Wow! That was tricky~ I don't do these puzzles, I think I would be frustrated instead. I'll stick to the blue sky and green grass.
This is a great puzzle because you have a sense of progress.
I actually found your channel because I was watching Chris Ramsey's videos. So it is amusing that you mentioned him!

I would never do a puzzle like this. It wouldn’t be enjoyable to me, but I sure enjoy watching you do it! 👏👏
I stumbled on this somehow and now I'm hooked. As it turns out, Karen Rules
Love this video, and love these brainteaser puzzles, would definitely love to see more!
I love how you approach these in a jigsaw puzzle manner compared to Chris Ramsey’s approach as a puzzle box sort of way that he is known for doing.
Wow. That was trippy. I enjoy watching your videos. I wish I had all your puzzles!!!! GREEN
While I agree, not the best price, I love the idea of having that out on a coffee table or something as interactive decor. But of course, maybe in a color other than "GREEN"
Great work! Green is my favorite color !
Love this puzzle and I love your videos! Green color is good for your eyes 😇
Green! We had fun listening to your angst and triumphs!
Green Congrats on solving that and still having hair at the end! That is amazing! Who thought of that concept? Cant wait for the 9 piece! And the 34.
You're such a pro. I'm GREEN with envy!
Wow! Chris Ramsey had such a different approach so this was very interesting 😄
Karen is the fucking Queen of puzzles!
Chris take notes..
Green I have seen his videos as well they look so challenging to do
Great video and while I was watching it I thought the puzzle was black and at one point I got a glimpse of it in the light and saw that it was green

Green😁. Karen I love your videos! I love puzzling, you make it look so easy. I have learned a ton from you, thank you. I look forward to your next video.
the green brainteaser puzzle looks cool but i think i prefer traditional jigsaw puzzles that are less brainteaser-y!
[Green] Me watching the video: "that looks cool"
Me looking at the price: "not anymore".
It was a lot of fun to watch.
I'm mostly watching this so I can find puzzle recommendations for my grandmothers. I'm pretty green when it comes to jigsaws.
Green 💚 Fantastic job! Agree with you, it is pricey.
That puzzle looks like fun!
That definitely is a brain teaser. I.ll stick to the traditional ones, thank you. Go GREEN! Love watching your videos Karen!
GREEN and super excited to see ya do the other two ;)
