  • Fishing on Bali has been tough, so for my last day I decided to fish some tide pools hoping for a new species. While all the bottom dwelling fish that I caught were either ornate gobies (Istigobius ornatus) or dusky frillfin gobies (Bathygobius fuscus), I did hook up with one goby that would've been a new species. Unfortunately I lost that one before getting a picture. The day wasn't a total waste though, I did manage to catch a lone grey damselfish (Chrysiptera glauca).
