    I ordered £2k worth of stuff during the black friday deals. Still missing the damper kit and brake kit. I gave up in the end, as I never got a single email back, no phone call answered. Horrific company to deal with.

      Took 4 months for my Black Friday order to arrive. Customer service emails also went unanswered for me. One of the worst customer services for any company I have dealt with. Getting things 'back on track' does nothing for me. I am done with Fanatec.

      @@tetley3737 We're all human. Mistakes will be made. Not may, will. What matters is what is done to clean up after the mistake. Did the company make the clients whole, was there any /action/ taken to apologize, or is it just cold words?

    I'm in Australia. I very recently bought an 8nm CSL DD race to ready bundle, I had it at my door in about 1 weeks time.

    Last month I ordered a Clubsport DD and it arrived within two weeks really pleased with it. I was also caught up in the black Friday problem was informed there was going to be a delay but it turned up a week earlier than expected not a problem.

    so they contact you out of the blue Karl when you didnt request it, but, a customer with an issue after paying for their product cant get a response after 4 weeks now waiting.

    I got "lucky" when I bought my Fanatec CSL wheel in July 2023 - I only had to wait until Oct 2023 for my wheel to arrive, haha. To be fair it did say Oct when I ordered it, so I knew it would be a long wait.

    I placed an order last month - and received it last month. It took a week longer than the 4-7 days on the website, although deep in the website there is a line saying that it takes the warehouse a week longer.
    My order was to the UK.

      out of curiosity, was all the stuff you ordered in stock? also what is it you ordered?

      @@GhostWriter_Music Yes. I deliberately only ordered gear which was in stock at the time. I think some people get stuck on the QR1 / QR2 not being in stock and then holding up the rest of the order. I went lower spec to get the order quickly, with a view to upgrading down the line.
      I ordered the McLaren GT3, DD 8NM, Elite V2 pedal bundle.

    I got my stuff today (USA) ordered in March, had the no response emails as well and was getting worried like everyone, hopefully this was just a glitch and things will improve because for the price I was really impressive (as I unboxed everything today) what your getting, and of course many youtubers over reacted!! Thanks for the update.

    i really do hope they get back on there feet, i think there products are excellent, it will probably take a couple of years to turn things around but its good to see there talking to the comminuty, its a start in the right direction, i wonder how much easier things might be if they sold to third party companies instead of all customers going direct

      They actually addressed this in the meeting and said because of the loss in margin paying a reseller they would either have to increase prices or reduce quality so won't do it.

      I was looking to update my old Fanatec Porsche wheel and V2 pedals, started doing some research and read all about the Fanatec issues going on, put me off, obviously, but I like their products and history etc.
      But, I was, and still am, reluctant to send them my money over the ether, and I can go to a shop or a Distributor's warehouse and directly purchase Simagic, Moza or Asetek sim gear.
      The ONLY way I would buy Fanatec stuff is, if I could the same thing as I can with the other brands, and if I am thinking that way, and I've never had an issue with them or had trouble with their products, I can imagine that their refusal to move away from their direct sales system will be their downfall.

      ​@@KarlGosling hi mate, fanatec is currently in a battle for a hostile takeover. There is a yt video out there. There is no certainty at all they will survive for 90 days. Its terrible it sounds right now. The cfo is apparently trying to hijack it from current investors for a new set of investors....crazy if true but not the first time

    In all this turmoil I still received my order today. So Happy. I bought 2 QR2's (type C). May 2nd I received a mail my order was being processed and yesterday that it was being shipped. I was happy because I gave up on it a little bit, with all that is going on. But I got my QR2's and they are a great upgrade from my old plastic lites. So 12 days shipment time for me.

    I recently bought a CSL-DD 8nm, V3 pedals and handbrake, with a metal QR1 (set to dispatch late April) and all arrived on time and working.
    No issues here so far from AUS...

    Maybe if one person had told you, take it with a pinch of salt, but when literally hundreds of people are experiencing the same thing, then i feel you can stand up for us, you dont have to experience it for yourself to help,
    I purchased Fanatec based off your videos promoting it, so you do have a obligation to stand by not just the seller, but the buyer too, ive pretty much purchased all my racing sim kit based off your promotion videos, so if i then have to wait for over 3 months for those items to arrive, im also looking at why are you promoting this stuff, so its also in your interest to address these issues we are experiencing,
    I really wish i hadnt picked Fanantec, not only did i have a empty sim rig sat in my lounge for 3 months, i then read about the CEO leaving who had the biggest shares, that then left many questions, and Fanatec carry on like they've never seen the internet before

    Sounds strange they were unable to keep up with queries from customer asking where their order is but they still managed to have a system that allowed order after order to be placed knowing dam well they didn’t have the stock. They should have known within days of Black Friday they couldn’t meet the demand but yet still accepting orders and people’s money. Have they never heard of a mass email to customers explaining the issues or a statement on their website. Worst. I’d avoid Fanatec like the plague.

    I built my rig two months ago, and was choosing between Fanatec and Moza, because I think they have the ecosystems that would suit my situation the best. Because of all Fanatecs problems and the fact that I could buy Moza from a Swedish reseller, and get all the customer rights and protection that comes with that, I went with Moza. And the more the Fanatec situation evolves, I’m very glad I did.

    I had to wait for 3 months instead 1 month to receive my DD+, but now I have it, im happy, coming from the DD Pro 8nm. (The DD Pro was great but was at my max) but for me, I dont have to upgrade my DD+ base for many many years, as the DD+ is a monster in FFB. Just waiting for Full Force support on ACC...ps5 gamer here

    I'm quite new to Sim Racing, and to jump to the point, I wouldn't touch Fanatec with a bargepole. Irrespective of how they're doing now, the way they treated customers over the BF fiasco and since is unforgivable IMO. Not to mention a RUclipsr I watch on occasion, his Fanatc wheelbase keeps disconnecting mid-race! I ended up buying a Moza wheel from 3rd party re-seller (Overclockers); it arrived the next day.

    It's a pity there isn't a company like Fanatec or Moza in Britain so we can get gear faster and cheaper, the shipping costs and import VAT are painful.

      At least you can get Moza stuff from resellers in the UK. I got my stuff delivered next day from Overclockers

      Imagine being able to walk into a shop at your local retail park that was like a version of Curry's/ PC World geared towards gaming that stocked a wide range of sim racing gear. That would be ideal.

    Think I got pretty lucky. Ordered a V2.5x in September 23 and got it 2 weeks later. At the same time there were people waiting months for the same wheel.

      I ordered from the UK. My stuff all got stuck in customs in Germany as Fanatec hadnt provided the right paperwork with the shipment. That was in November and I never did recieve anything. For all I know its still there. Lol

    Hi I’m in the UK. I ordered a QR2 bundle for my DD pro 8nm 30th March. Arrived 10th April. Then I ordered the Podium GT challenge wheel bundle on 13th April. Paid import duty fees 2nd May. Due to be delivered 7th May. I was on PS5 the last 2years but moved to PC Dec. Got VRS pedals and will be looking to order Moza shifter and handbrake in a few weeks.

    Placed an order 29th of April and recieved my tracking information today (6th may) - they have a notification on their website saying theres week long delays for processing so i knew it wouldnt be dispatched right away. So far so good

    The problem I have with Fanatec is that my 12nm base has an issue. With all of the financial instability with the company, I don’t trust them to repair and return my gear within a reasonable time. The base is working however it is making some unusual Fanatec didn’t offer to replace my 3 month old unit, and it took them 6 weeks just to respond to my ticket. I have no idea how long it would take them to get my base back to me if at all.

    jumped ship in January after 3 years of buying their products furthermore i sold ALL of my fanatec equipment. This is a company that doesn't care about their customers, no customer services at all for anything. thus company is about to go under, they're in life support.

    It’s been going on since July 2023! I made an order in early August that turned up in early September. I bought two hubs during Black Friday and they also took four ish weeks to arrive.
    Previously their service was amazing, I would order Sunday morning and then my products would arrive at my home in England on either the Thursday or Friday of that week. When I had issues with their crappy handbrake, I would get a response from raising a ticket on the same day.
    What they have done to people since the Summer of 2023 is absolutely disgusting!

    This was SIM Racing's Hoover Free Flights moment. I saw the DD2 on sale for €699 on day 1 and knew someone had massively screwed up. Of course I bought one and it arrived in 6 weeks.

      About exactly the same, got the DD2 and it arrived just before the new year in about 5 weeks. Totally worth it even though I moved to GT DD extreme for full PlayStation Gran Turismo 7 glorious online racing. I found out today I've put almost 300 hours on it. It's so good.

    Ordered the DD Pro on 13 April, arrived 2 May. Biggest delay was Fanatec giving the item to UPS so still a few issues I'd say

    So quick update, Ordered set of cheap pedals, A hub V2 and wheel plus 5NM DD on 1st May at 1pm, Got handed to warehouse Email on 2nd and then nothing, This morning the 13th got a dispatched Email with a packing list and 3 tracking numbers which on UPS show as label created.
    They seem to be using a new tracking company which must integrate with UPS or something, Funny thing is when I click on the packing link I got it said shipment packed - May 2, 2024, 10:00:00 AM ,Your shipment was packed and is ready to be picked up by the deliverer. , So maybe UPS is the real bottleneck in all this.

    I was one of the lucky ones, Ordered a V2.5x on November 25th Black Friday and got it 2 weeks later to UK.
    But I've ordered a CSL DD 5NM, The ClubSport GT Alcantara wheel with the V2 hub and the CSL pedals on Wednesday 1st May, Last email said being prepared for shipping, Order status says Handover to Warehouse, But my V2.5 order from Black Friday still says that, So will let you know how that turns out.

    TBH what Fanatec should have done is just refunded all the errored orders and give them like a 10% discount code to use in the store, yes they would have had a small bit of upset customers but the fact they said they would honour all the orders is what I think did more damage for them as the wait for some people was far to long and made them feel let down by Fanatec.

    I ordered 8nm DD, V3 pedals and WRX wheel cost £800
    I didn’t know about the issues!
    I had a email saying June 15th for shipment, I’m on series x so I’m limited to what I can buy, so I have my fingers crossed! Massively, tbh I nearly canceled the order.
    My mate ordered a new wheel and hub which turned up 10 days ago he waited 6 weeks.
    I really hope my stuff turned up !! So I can order my rig.
    So listening to this video has given me some slight hope all will be ok

    I placed my order on 10th of April, knowing the Aluminum QR1 was on back order and available starting on the 26th. I then received an email on the 30th stating my order would now be processed for shipping. Unfortunately nothing has happened since then and my order has been stuck at “Transfer to warehouse“. Granted there have been some holidays over here in Germany, the wait still is kind of annoying. Hopefully Fanatec can get their act together and ship in the next few days, as it seems all the parts I ordered are available now.

    Pure coincidence that the huge influx of orders (and revenue) came at a time they couldn't repay their bank lending 🙂. Gotta love the marketing guys 😂😂😂

    did buy two weeks ago it was shipped. Also had a big cancel of an order and it was refunded in two business days. Wrote them an email and reply was there in 3 days. Did reorder and wait now for next delivery but they seem to be okay now :) (EU)
    What also is important : if you order in a bundle and something is not available from it … it locks the delivery, i recommend to order one by one if you want a fasr delivery

    I ordered the McLaren CSL bundle mid April and I knew it would be end of April because QR2 stock issues (no QR1 available). Got an email on the 1st May saying it’s being processed and prepared for shipping. Let’s see what happens! (UK)

    Tell them that they need more GT style wheels. They have more than enough Formula, D shaped and Round wheels. Maybe 2 options that fit in between The BMW wheel and the McLaren wheel.

    Thanks Karl this is a great update and was needed really. Completely agree with you Fanatec is great and is needed, although no company is too big to go bust if they are irresponsible.
    I placed an order for the 8NM boost kit and Loadcell on 20th April and have no shipping number or anything as of writing

    I just ordered mine this Monday. Did a lot of research on the product but no t the shipping issues. Ow you m nervous as hell it will take forever. Hope I’m not out my $600!

    I ordered the first week in April. Still nothing. Biggest issue is they were still saying 4-7 days online for shipping then. I have contacted twice with no response. I think there is a big difference between shipping, and moving your order to fulfillment. I am in their ecosystem already so I hope it improves. However, on my next wheel upgrade I may move to another vendor. I am pc, so I have options.

    And there we go, ordered 1pm 1st May and it all just turned up 1pm 17th May, Not the quickest turn around as I get stuff from Aliexpress quicker, But not so long that it bothered me.
    So on my experience it's all OK at the moment, And all the QR1 seem to be in stock now.

    When I bought a Rally Module (among other things) on Black Friday, it took me 4 weeks from store to door (based in UK).
    When I bought a second Rally Module in early February for a custom wheel build, store to door was less than a week.
    I suppose it helped that I didn't buy any big-ticket items like a wheelbase and pedals, but that's been my recent experience.
    Always been a fan of the hardware and its design (despite limited software support on Xbox), though shipping and customs has always been a bit of a challenge. Hope it clears up soon and improves under Corsair.

    Raw units sold though, Logitech is way higher, their entry level wheels dominate player numbers in most games.

    There's been surprisingly few reviews of it from the usual channels, and sim racers I talk to have doubts as to its price to quality ratio. I enjoy your cockpit/rig reviews in particular, very useful.

      I have some sympathy for people waiting for black Friday orders, But not overly, The thing is they could just as easy just cancel, get there money back and move on, So why don't they, Cos the sale was so good and stuff was so cheap, I didn't need a new wheel, Didn't stop me putting in an order for the V2.5 for 200 quid along with thousands more.
      So suck it up or cancel, But people won't cancel cos the deals were so good, So take it that a good wedge of money was saved but to counter that there's a bit of a wait.

    I ordered the QR2, H/Seq Shifter and the Handbrake on Black Friday and i got everything like it was displayed on the product page. They where all preorders.
    Last month i ordered the Monte Carlo Sparco Rally Wheel Bundle + the Podium Shifters for the Podium Hub. I got everything a few days to late, like 10 business days, which was still okay. The only weird thing was, that i didnt get a email with a tracking number. Im from germany by the way.

    Ordered 05/17, Transferred to Warehouse 05/28. 05/29 they sent an email apologizing that there was an error and they have more orders than expected. No communication since, no tracking, and can’t get ahold of them at all.

    I hope they can fix things. I think almost everyone would agree that the hobby is better with them in it than if they weren't. But they definitely have their work cut out for them, and they've been acting like a company with cashflow problems, not just a few mishaps. (If there's a huge customer support backlog meaning people don't get as much as an email reply for *weeks* regarding problems with orders costing hundreds of even thousands, it's time to hire more staff to answer those emails! Unless you can't actually afford to hire or train them.)

    I am having MASSIVE shipping issues with Trak Racer right now. They have the product, took my money, but for the life of them cannot get the product to my home. I'm going into the 3rd week of fighting them and Fed Ex to make it right and get my order completed. Very close to doing a refund and switching brands, which is sad because I really like the design of their stuff.

    I bought all of my fanatec products in 2022, when the black friday sale rolled around I didn't buy much because I already had everything. I only got the QR2 base side which actually shipped very quickly. I then ordered the button cap set and a QR2 which was on pre-order and it actually shipped before the pre-order date. just a lucky one I suppose.
    edit-I forgot to mention I'm in the states so I wasn't affected by the EU warehouse shipping delays due to their warehouse moving.

    Karl I got all my bf products 1 week after I order and there was around 20 items,only shifter didn't arrived.
    Problem was fiew months before black Friday, people waited for product for months,me aswel ,but I get my money back from PayPal protection, so I don't understand that bf thing.Btw thanks for update

    Every order this past month all got to me within a week. I've ordered 5 times now. Also EU is almost fully caught up which means all shipping should be back to normal very soon. I'm in the US and all of my US friends are getting orders super quick like myself.
    Also tons for review products for the 12nm and 15nm dd/dd+ did get sent out months ago so that was nice to see.

    Today (May the 4th be with Fanatec to dispatch my order) I decided to risk it and update from the DD Pro 8nm to DD+ 15nm. It's probably completely unnecessary but if sense came into the picture Sim Racing would be a very different place. If I remember I'll report back the date it actually arrives (hopefully not too long because I'll be without a wheel in a week). Im in the UK

    Hey Karl, it depends on what it is really. So let’s give them Some perspective. I bought the Podium Paddle Module and on April 19 and I live in Jamaica. I use Courier service that’s a slow as a slug after surgery and I got it today, May 3. So with me being out of the “direct”’ shipping belt, 3 weeks is not bad. When I ordered my DD Pro when it was just released, it took 3 weeks also after the date they say it would have been available. Black Friday sales to me, we really need to give it some time. But that’s just me. I plan to buy the GT Challenge Wheel for Black Friday this year 2024 just to test it. But we need to all remember, supply chain issues are still very prevalent and we should understand that. Maybe I should start doing some videos to help get persons to understand that the world is not as instant as one perceives.

    You can't even buy a new steering wheel from fanatec today. When you attempt to add a wheel to the cart you have to select a quick release slide, either the qr1 or the qr2. I already own a qr1, so I try to checkout with the qr1 since it is free. The problem is that you can't checkout because the qr1 is out of stock, and can only checkout if you buy a 100$ up charge to the qr2 quick release. This is absolutely absurd, makes me completely regret buying into the fanatec ecosystem.

    I didn't even know they had an issue. I ordered from them last week (just got the tracking today 27/5), and as soon as I ordered, it mentioned there were shipping delays. Then I started getting recommended RUclips videos saying about problems, and possible bankruptcy. Will save this video and respond with an update.
    as for if I get my products I ordered and the company isn't around next year, that isn't something I am too concerned with as a repair standpoint, since I am comfortable repairing my own goods provided I can get the replacement parts if need be, though I would like to see them still be around. Just hope it all works out good. Will give them 2 weeks. paid with credit card and paypal so I should be okay either way, but went with fanatic, because I had a belt drive wheel many years ago, and they were a respectable brand, though their cs was always below average.
    It has been delivered 31/5.

    They're more likely to be acquired by a larger banner group than go completely insolvent.
    They own way too much of the market with their ecosystem, for bigger companies to sleep on the opportunity.
    Look at logi when saitek got bought out, we could see something similar to that.

    Fanatec US has been very good to me. I bought another base/wheel/pedal kit and it all arrived in 2 weeks.
    I had a issue with my hand brake and they replied in a timely manner and replaced the unit quickly.
    Maybe these issues are more of a European office snafu as the Fanatec US service has been solid from my experience.

    Everything could have and would have been so much better if they just sorted out their customer support and crazy shipping policies when it comes to ordering multiple items or bundles with some parts of the "bundle" being out of stock. If they don't fix all of that soon, they'll continue to have big problems regardless of who owns the company.. IMO. They are nothing without their customers, and they have policies and practices that end up hurting and angering their customers, and they never seem to care about that or do anything to change it.

    Now if they can only figure out all their firmware issues on the bases and actually update their forums to provide recommended settings for the new wheel bases. These bases have been out for over 6 months and the firmware is still broken for so many users to function properly. Selling all these new products but not giving consumers any recommended settings. Their forums still don't have the new EA WRC or Forza Motorsport sections or any default settings for either game. The community has been relying on others to provide feedback settings.

    What Impresses me is that they are genuinely trying and are owning the mistakes...I'm currently waiting on a order I placed about ten days ago...and I'm simply not worried...I know my items will be along in a week or so, I don't expect anyone to share my optimism, but I have ordered from them for years and while late at times they never have let me down.

    Delayed orders i can deal with. But the RMA situations is a joke i have CSL v2 pedals i got on black friday have failed and now cant get a response. Nit having the pedals makes my whole setup unusable of course since selling my old pedals

    What argument the marketing chief can claim everything is fine ? It’s almost a lie. The bank and the liquidator are trying to kill the company. The situation is catastrophic. If they claim fanatec is fine, they need to take their pant and make an official statement with the facts and why there is no worry ! We should they use youtuber to say their message ?
