I'm 62yrs. old and fighting depression, been feeling better the past few months, and started taking care of myself. I haven't worn make-up or had my hair cut since the Pandemic broke out, my last haircut was in 2019, so my hair goes past my rear now and I've only had it trimmed. I've been looking at different styles and love your haircut and may try your style. I just ordered the concealer and got a discount on undereye cream that helps with dark circles and puffiness $44 bucks for only $17 after ordering concealer for only $16 with a free brush. I want to start coming out of my shell. I also order beige and close to your skin tone and face shape. I want to make sure I buy safe and great makeup for my skin, especially at my age.

I wish there were people who did mature makeup reviews who didn’t look beautiful without the product bc I need to see what this looks like on someone who actually has fine lines & DARK bags….all this shows me is that a beautiful woman who looks perfect without concealer also looks great with this product on her perfect face lol
Even though I am almost positive this wasn't meant as one, I will take this as a compliment. I am 43, well within their "target demographic". I have fine lines and LOTS of darkness under my eyes, so I feel I am a great candidate to do a concealer review. Sorry you don't feel the same.
@@MandyDavisMUA it was a compliment lol but i still need to see someone who doesn’t have damn near perfect skin use this product so I can see if it really does hide wrinkles & bags lol you may think you have wrinkles & dark bags bc it’s your face & we are all our own worst critics but I assure you, you have beautiful skin! Your video is useful for people who maybe don’t know how to apply the makeup but for me, I need to see someone whose face actually needs a product to hide obvious imperfections so I can see if it works. Similarly to when an article of clothing runs from xs-xxxl, when the clothing is modeled on a girl who’s a medium, that doesn’t let the 3xl chicks know if this will be flattering on them bc the model used has a body that most things look good on, if that makes sense lol
@hurricanekitty6736 I completely understand what you are saying but remember to take into account that these youtubers are using either filters, cameras that have built in filters and /or lighting that is really blurring. I'm not saying she is using filters but for sure her lighting blurs and smooths her skin. If she were to go in direct sunlight(without filters on) and use her phone camera we would see a more realistic view of her skin. That's why I love when reviews include a mid day check-in outdoors. But yes I am also tired of youtubers talking about how dry and cakey a concelaer looks but it literally looks like every other concelaer they put on😂
@@ashleybullard1285 No filters, and I do TONS of close ups (where the lighting isn't "blurring") in many of my videos. Feel free to check out the video I put up today where I show my skincare routine. My face can't get more bare than that, and I include a close up there as well. And I think you missed the point of this video....it DOESN'T look like every other concealer I put on, which is evident if you watched any of my other concealer reviews. One of the many reasons I don't like this one. I am in the demographic of the marketing for this concealer, so I am not sure the issue and why you choose to write about how tired you are of how unrealistic youtubers are when you choose to watch the videos. But I will, in the end, take it as a compliment that you think I use filters. I sure hope you go on to have a fabulous day!
@@hurricanekitty6736you can’t act like she has perfect skin when you aren’t there in person all close up. People say I have great skin and look young for my age and whatever but I think my face looks like crap without makeup. I’d never leave the house without it. I have wrinkles, age spots, some large pores in areas, tons of broken capillaries but you wouldn’t see that unless you are closer up in person and my face was clean. So it’s not entirely fair to act like she has perfect skin. Not sure exactly how bad your skin is that this video bothers you but maybe you should look up specifically your same problems.

I’m 63. This just goes to show our skin needs are so different. Fiera is the first concealer I’ve used that does not cake at all! I warm it on my fingers before applying.
I’m 72 & I hated it. Way too thick no matter how little I put on. I can’t find anything that doesn’t settle into lines, fades away, or just actually works.

I think you voicing your honest opinion is exactly what people need to hear. Whether someone likes or doesn’t like a product, or that it’s just not right for them all comes down to personal preference. What they are used to, how they like to look, what other products they use, what type of skin they have, there are too many factors to mention. There is no right or wrong way. I have normal to dry skin, and have always preferred a no-makeup look regarding my foundations. I will leave the house without makeup, others won’t - my mother was that way. I also suffer from severe allergies to scents and smells. You mentioned the consistency is similar to IT Cosmetics, which causes an extreme reaction for me. That is something I must look into further. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

I went for it and I really like it. I use my fingers and my BK Beauty concealer brush to apply. It is relatively new for me so I am still working towards the sweet spot as far as the perfect amount each time, but it is covering what I need and looks smoother. I have found that gently smoothing in combination with patting on the product works best for me. It works well with my foundation so the two merge well. I do lightly set it with powder. I am 65 and my under eyes have wrinkles, but this does not settle into those wrinkles and does make them look better.

I adore this concealer. I have tons that I have tried, usually use NARS but this one works so well for my nature skin and covers beautifully. I just go light handed with it, a little dab can cover your whole face liiterally. Formula is creamy and bendable, never cakes on me or makes my wrinkles look worse. Price is decent too.

Completely agree! I tried this two years ago and then again two weeks ago...not for me! And it's so funny you mention the harsh comments you received after not loving Seint makeup...I had the same experience! I did not like that makeup at all and I could not believe how upset people were and all the flak they gave me 😅
I don't think I have gotten such a strong opinion and fierce followers of a brand like I did Seint....definitely an experience. 😂

I like this concealer….but my eyes are 78. I find that this formula does not crease on me…it kinda lays over my texture and makes it look whole which is an improvement. Actually, my very favorite is the Basma cream stick foundation which when applied to my under eyes does the same thing without an additional concealer.
But there isn’t any concealer that I love! 😊

I've seen this concealer advertised on Instagram numerous times. I was wondering how it was and I'm so glad you did a review on it because now I know it would definitely not work for me. I have dark circles under my eyes but I cannot wear a thick and heavy concealer because it settles into every line under my eyes. I appreciate your honest reviews whether you like a product or not. Thanks Mandy..i was curious about this but with those mass advertising products i immediately ignore. Haha that may be a bad thing but i can't help it. I used It cosmetics years ago and loved it. Not now..too many great formulas out there. I know your sick of hearing this, but i can't believe believe my jar of Chanel Sublimage le correcteur is less than half!!! I can't NOT use it everyday. I mix with all kinds of concealers and works with them All. I just think b/c you love the Chantecaille future skin, this will be so similar. I will re-purchase it when I'm out. I actually save it on days off lol cuz i have so many others to choose from. Have a great day. I am not sick of hearing it at all...I LOVE how much you love it. I went to purchase it on Chanel last month, and it wouldn't give me an option to choose a shade. I tried on different browsers, computers and phones and it never worked. I need to try again.

You are a beautiful lady! I love this review. I bought the light because I am vampire white with horrible black undereye circles. I am 70 and my 1980s makeup it does not work. I now use a concealer, light foundation, setting powder (I do not have large pores and light nasolabial wrinkling), light cream blusher, brows, light neutral eye shadow, mascara and liner on my upper lines which I tightline and finally Nars Afterglow lip balm in Turbo and a lip liner. I appreciate an honest review :)

Concealers that are raved about don't generally work for me. The fiera is perfect for me. As you said we all have to find works for ourselves. It's been a journey for me bc of my sensitive nature skin. Thank you for your honesty and how it worked for you.
Thank you for this review. I have tried this for about a week, and have the same issue with the dewiness under my eyes. I need a lot of power to mattify it. I am pretty happy with how it resists creasing, though, so for now am sticking with it for under eyes. I'm still using Madara for blemishes.

I've actually switched back to Madara for my dark circles and think I look younger (!). I am now using Fiera as a lid primer.
I just received it and I like it so far. It is thick but I feel that is why you use a small amount. It seems to cover my dark circles and also some spots on my face.

Your make up looks amazing. I turn 60 next month and it seems no matter what I use it always looks caky. What do you use? What do you use to set? And what do you use to apply it PLEASE? I very seldom where make up, but I always want to cry after putting it on cause it looks so bad like I just put a crap load of cake batter on my face. You know what I mean!
Totally agree wtht marketing.. Seint I did not like.. I do have the Fiera and have mature (56 y/o) dry skin and it is not too bad.. I like radiance though.. you just have to use the most minuscule amount... but, that said, I have not found a holy grail concealer for myself.. I've been lucky as not to struggle with dark circles until the last year or so, so I"m still learning.
So glad that it worked out better for you. I have a holy grail, so if it weren't for RUclips, I would probably stop looking. lol
My favorite foundation/BB Cream and concealer I get at Dollar Tree. It’s seriously that good. I was buying Lancôme and Estée Lauder and now I just buy that up whenever I see it. I’m obviously saving a ton of money!

Thank you dear Mandy! I always have a problem with such a thick concealers under my eyes. I’m 46yo and have a very thin skin under my eyes that my blue veins can be seen easily but I don’t have deep wrinkles or any visible wrinkles at all. But when I use heavy concealer my eyes look very old and creepy and aging me so badly. At this point I’ll stick with my Chantecaille products even if it doesn’t have much coverage. Ooh, I never thought of trying Bye Bye Undereye as a foundation. I have a love/hate relationship with it for dark circles. In a way I like the dewy, reflective quality because I’m so used to darkness there but I also feel like I need to set it and that never works out.

Last week I bought two tubes of Lancome effacernes waterproof in two shades, had hot worn it in years. I had forgotten how magical this concealer is, high cover, creamy and settles invisibly on skin. It was half off last week when I bought it, hopefully not discontinued.
Oh, I LOVE that concealer. I used to use it all the time. I am afraid it may be being discontinued, but I am hoping I am wrong.

I usually really like a creamy emollient kind of makeup. My skin is mature. I'm in my '60s although I think my skin looks better than that and I have had no success with this at all and I've tried everything. I've done all the things everybody says to do including using setting powder which I don't want to use a foundation I have to use setting powder with!
It does not wear well. It sinks right into all of my creases. It looks good for about an hour and then it's gone. It just slides right off my face and I do not have oily complexion use a very light moisturizer underneath the makeup.

Love the honest review! Wondering if you are oily or combo? I can’t find a concealer that I can put powder over that doesn’t get cakey. I wonder if I’m putting too much moisturizer on though.
Thanks! I am personally normal/dry skin. I do use an eye cream, but I give it at least 15 minutes to settle in, if not way more depending on my schedule, before I go in with makeup.
Thank you so much for this. I was just about to order and went looking for an independent review. Do you have a recommendation for coverage for dark circles that won’t settle into fine lines? Currently using Jones Road for minimal makeup just on problem areas but I have to remember after 15 minutes or so to smooth it out and then I’m usually ok for the rest of the day, but I suspect that it’s because I’m just wiping a bunch of it off that’s creased up.
I typically always set my concealers with powder, so I can't say for certain how so many of my faves would work without them, but my first thoughts are the jane iredale concealer (the one with the doe foot applicator) and the Lawless Conceal the Deal. Both are great coverage, but not drying under the eyes.
I love this concealer! I get good coverage without a lot of product, and it does dry down well on me.

I'm 48 years old so it has really been a challenge finding a concealer that works good for my skin and also finding a foundation. Received mine today and just tried it for the 1st time about 30min ago. You definitely need to moisturize 1st because it's so thick and looks a bit caky and dry looking once I put it on. I have dry skin already and ordered mine for dry skin so I was expecting something a bit moister than what I received.
Even the sale price is high for the tiny tiny tube I received and not worth trying to send back to get the correct one, although the shade was correct. I would not order it again.

They got me too. That mess is too thick and cakey! I also tried Glossier stretch concealer the next day and I love it. While nothing is perfect, it looks much more natural and improved the look under my eyes significantly. It's in a small jar and a little goes a long way. I applied it w a small concealer brush. Does it settle into fine lines ? A little. But I think the laws of physics will cause that with any product. I will say that even when I checked it in broad daylight, I had to really look to see any settling. I'm sticking with it.
Your mention of this being like IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye has me worried I will hate FIERA too, but I’m going to try it. The site says I can return it, so the risk is low.
At 46, my skin is finally showing its age and the makeup I’ve used for 15 years just doesn’t work for my skin anymore.

I agree 100% it has to be set with powder otherwise it’s going to slide around or worse transfer to your hands or clothing. I recently switched from double wear to Lancôme’s teint idole foundation which I absolutely love now that it’s been reformulated, BUT it doesn’t cover well enough which set me out looking for a new concealer. Everyone I tried I’ve not been a fan of because it aged me 10+ years. I just happened to see an ad and thought well I’m not gonna cry over $16 if it doesn’t work. For the price I’m pleasantly surprised as long as I use it as a concealer. Even setting it with powder, it doesn’t seem to crease or stick to my fine lines. I do find I need a second layer to completely cover my dark circles. This concealer sits well on top of my Lancôme foundation. I haven’t tried it with the double wear yet. For $16 I like it so far. I could really see the difference between my foundation and no concealer under eye I didn’t realize my dark circles were that bad…I like that the concealer is radiant it looks great in pics and on cam. It is very thick. I use the brush they sent && yes it’s a super thick cream but as soon as I put it on my face it started melting and spreading = good coverage.

You are so welcome! My fave is the Chantecaille Future Skin Gel Foundation. But I also really like the new jane iredale one, and I use that one in my kit on all ages.
I'm 64 years old with fairly young looking skin except for the fine lines under my eyes. I've been using the Fiera concealer for a couple of years now. I originally bought it as it is highly advertised as a creaseless concealer. In my experience, it is not completely creaseless no matter what I try to do. I also use Fiera's high definition setting powder, which helps, but does not stop the creasing altogether. I'm pretty lucky to have slightly oily skin for my age and that may be what contributes to the creasing. Despite the creasing, I will continue to use this concealer as it does have skin care properties as well.

I thought this was great. And I have used expensive concealers in the past. Works so well under my eyes and does NOT go into the creases. Just used a concealer brush to lightly brush over the wrinkles after applying. I do not use powder. I am 68 years old. It looks great all day. The best in my opinion!!

Yep. Gonna use what works for me and it's Fiera. It is the only concealer that works under my eyes. I do agree that it is not an all over thing. I use it strictly under my eyes. It's not a blemish concealer. I use other things for that. I have the IT cosmetics one and even it was not doing it for me. What kind of corrector did you use? I use the Charlotte Tilbury and I mix them sometimes or lay down the charlotte tilbury first. Anyways, yes, it is very dewy, I will agree with that. I powder it down and am good to go.

Thank you! I'd noticed in all the reviews that the finish is shiny. I hate that! Looks like sweating under too much makeup! I grew up in the Florida heat & my friends and I gave up face makeup all together! Plus, I hate heavy, thick makeup. I'm wanting to try tinted sunscreen. Tint seems nice & light. I have a few dark spots, but I don't want to completely cover my complexion. I bought a product thats not that thick but I'm still compelled to apply it with a damp sponge to thin it out & get full coverage. That's just me.😊
Yes, if you don't like shiny, I would definitely shy away from this one.

Thank you, thank you for this honest review! I was considering purchasing this product but after your honest review I’ll pass. I’ve tried many Consealers and have been very disappointed. Two I’ve found worked ok and they were Bobbi Brown and Maybelline instant age rewind. These two gave good coverage and less caking. I’m 70 now and I don’t use any Consealers anymore because I’m not able to stop the Consealers from caking now as I’ve aged. They are good products still! You look beautiful in the makeups you’re using, stick with it for as long as you can.

I tried this concealer and it was ok, it didn’t replace my it cosmetics bye bye under eye. I would not this as a foundation. My mom is 72 and she loved this concealer mainly because the color matched perfectly. She doesn’t need much coverage though.

I’ve never heard of it. If I do I won’t be getting it, but I still use the Giorgio Armani concealer in the shorter tube. It works for me.

Hmmmm...I am not sure. I went to college in South Carolina for a year, but that is the last time I have been there, and the last place I visited in North Carolina was the Biltmore. 🤔

Has anyone tried the Laura Geller corrector? It is fantastic and pairs really well with the Haus labs concealer. I use a small sponge to press the Givenchy powder on top and it is absolute perfection.

I have so many....Lancome Care and Glow is one of them actually. I am really loving the new Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint. I also love anything from Chantecaille and the Haus Labs Foundation.
I have found anything sponsored is not for me, and I don’t watch those videos. Nearly all hyped products are not for me, I can think of one product that worked for me and I have a makeup collect that rivals midsized RUclipsrs. The size of my collection really horrifies me. I need to stop buying. If I am buying into the hype, I wait to see if the item “you NEED in your collection” or is “life changing” winds up in monthly favorites videos repeatedly, or year end favorites, at that point if I am still tempted I will try. Thank you for your honesty, it is appreciated, although I haven’t heard of this brand before.

42 years old. I’m still using the Tarte Shape Tape, and I can’t tell if I’m just getting more crow’s feet, or I need to try something else. 🤷🏻♀️ Not a fan of the It Cosmetics, and reading some comments that Lancôme might be discontinued, but I hope not!
I do think the Lancome in the squeeze tube is already, or about to be, discontinued. It was great though. There are soooo many good ones for us over 40 gals. I have lots of videos on my faves if you search my channel. ❤️

Everything she said! It is a 7 out of 10. Strengths-muddy and long-lasting. It did stand the crease test for me. Weaknesses-terrible match on color (I did the 'test your color match on their platform'...hmm I am an African American, so it didn't hit on cylinders on that, but 4 out of 10, and I paid for three different shades, so I will keep on using it when I know that I won't be seeing anyone I know 😂).
If you have an extra $35.00 bucks lying around...it's worth the interest.

No, I mentioned in the video that it is much lighter than I like to use for concealer.
I fell for the hype but it didn’t work for me, either. The color I chose was awful, but I didn’t bother swapping because the formula just wasn’t for me.

I got mine today from Amazon, in the shade Light. It's going back. It was very thick, unblendable, and caused pilling under my eyes. I bought it because of good reviews on Amazon, but thought they have to be kidding. Probably offered them discounts for other products for a favorable review?

@@MandyDavisMUA I tried it again, the way you did it, by making it warm between my fingers. It went on better when I tapped it in, but unfortunately, it did not conceal anything. It's still going back, lol. I've seen two videos that two lovely mature women did where they used NiveaQ10 cream gel under the eyes before concealing. It is supposed to handle creppiness. We'll see. thanks I’m actually only 32, but I like my under eyes to look completely natural as a guy when I use concealer so I was curious about this one… But the shininess is not something I’d go for. does anyone have any suggestions on a good medium to full coverage concealer that a guy could get away with wearing?
I would try the Makep forever Ultra HD light capturing self setting concealer. It's very thin, sets and lasts. I'm 55 and have tons in my collection and this works well under mature eyes but I think would work for anyone. Natural looking imo

If you have a foundation that you love wearing, I would try that one day. That is how I found my absolute favorite. It's a foundation I loved...tried it under my eyes, and was hooked!
Your face looks like it is treated with something after face wash. It is refecting the light everywhere. Which brand of products did you use after washing because I feel like it contributed to the wet look in this video.
It's "treated" with skin care and spf, as I do everyday. And it's definitely apparent how the product is extra luminous when applied than my undereye without. And they market it as luminous, so that tracks.
Certainly not for combo or oily skin

Oh I definitely use powder...as I do with all my concealers and it was still too luminous for me.
I bought the concealer, I have only tried it twice but so far nothing special.
My tubes are not dewy or hydrating at all. Bought directly from the company. Also, it’s full coverage on me, covers everything while still looking natural. Do you have super oily skin? Weird

Not sure what you mean by the line under my eye, but I think the fact you can still see dark cements my review on the concealer as a whole.
It made my face really shiny. It did not cover the parts I wanted covered! Not happy with the product at all.

I agree with this review. Its over hyped. I found the same. Seperated , esp if you want to use sunscreen or any other concealer with this product as it doent conceal anything esp dark circles. I wont be buying it again. A light tinted skin tint would be better than this, and its way too thick concidering one needs to keep adding to it to achieve coverage. Also using a sealing powder over it or even a mineral powder will cause seperation. Thats my experience.

Very similar. I didn't love IT Cosmetics either, but at least it worked as an all over foundation better than this one.
