@@saidgrcThis is not the base model, the Toyota website shows the L as the base model. The LE is the next level up and then there is the XLE. Has something changed?
$29,700 in my area for the base model. I'm going with the Mazda CX-30 for $26,500. These prices and finance rates are ridiculous. Thanks for the review.
@@saidgrc if you do end up reviewing a 2024 CX-30, pay attention (not that I have to tell you) to the brakes. They are incredibly soft. Very bizarre. Maybe it's just me. Thank you
@@saidgrcUpdate, today, I purchase a CX-30 Select (Sport) . Brakes were fine definitely different then what, I used to. Didn't want to bash a brand of car on your channel. That being said, I hope you do review one. Thanks
Great review Said! Yes I agree that the interior is identical between the Corolla sedan and Corolla Cross. They both also have the same 2 liter engine and CVT. However the sedan is 300 pounds lighter which makes it faster and more fuel efficient than the Corolla Cross
Interesting helpful points. I have the 2024 Cross LE. What I would say is the Cross may less on gas mileage (maybe 10 mpg) - but you DO get the extra hatchback space, for items . Certainly (mine) has plenty of pep, quick acceleration. Also, better (higher) in height, from the road. You're not scraping the highway - helps a lot with snow, or objects. The interior seems superior in detail to the Corolla sedan. I prefer it to the sedan.
I traded in my Subaru Crosstrek limited 23 for a Corolla Cross XLE 24😢! Not totally happy with that! As it’s bad finishing interiors and noise when a speed is needed but, now I have to gulp down my choice, which was pushed by this Carlsbad Toyota Martin person!😢😢😢and 🤬for my stupidity in taking that!
Same I trade my 2015 jeep Cherokee only had 25 k on it they pretty much are the same but the Cross is such a downgrade I bough the Cross for reliability.
I’m about to trade my beloved 2021 crosstrek sport for a Corolla cross le. My crosstrek have the stupid thermal control valve issue and Subaru will replace it until it burns, which means to be driving always paranoid about how far can I drive. I drive 60 miles to work every day and I had Toyota before and never had issues. But I understand ur pain .
Thank you for doing a review on a normal vehicle that folks can kinda afford.

How is it in the snow season?
@@rosemaryhazen5260 it does ok in snow, i would recommend the AWD SE trim for snow.
@ Ty mine is a awd Toyota corella cross LE trim . I’m hoping when the snow comes it will perform good
@ if you got AWD, you all set for snow. No matter the trim.
@ 😀thank. You 👍have a bless day
I really like this car. But I hate that this exact model is $29,999 US where I'm at.

No back up camera on the LE?
Yes, there is a backup camera on the LE model.

Great review.
The price you quoted is the out the door price?
Yes, but it can vary depending on trim and options!
How do you use the rear wipers
Turn the switch on the left side of the lever up once for low speed, and twice for high speed.

You wish you kept your crosstreck? I’m trying to decide between the Corolla cross and the crosstreck
True very noisy and I don’t want either the sounds when you signal😬😬 my Toyota Corolla Le sedan is better I guess
