There’s actual Mario source material in this movie unlike it’s crappy 1990s predecessor, and that’s great! Nintendo and Illumination sure are “hitting the big time”!

Yeah I kinda liked it too you know when the credits showed Jack Black was the voice actor for bowser that was a surprise surprising right? I mean in other animated characters he voice acted as he sounds like he has a taste for anything Super cool or as he would put it “A voice with Pure Awesomeness” and bowser sounded nothing like Jack black plus for the president and former president not to mention it was mentioned he passed away in 2015 thought it was clever to put the presidents with the Super Star and interesting too
When I saw this at my local theater with my friend from work and his wife (Who is a huge fan of Mario) The audience applauded due to how awesome it was, and the audience was most composed of kids! 😊

Gusty garden into the movie Mario theme feels like that's how that song was always supposed to end. Kudos to Brian Tyler, you can tell he has a true respect for the underrated music of Mario games.
I’m glad that this movie was nominated for “Best Animated Feature” and became a billion-dollar box office runaway success. It clearly deserves that because it’s faithful to the source material. (Unlike other video game adaptations…) I loved it.
It might also be because Nintendo themselves helped out in making it too, ensuring that the source material would be truly honoured. You can actually see some Nintendo employees in the credits sequence, and even a dedication to Satoru Iwata, the president during Nintendo’s best era.
