The acoustic guitar part from Moonage Daydream can be kept quite simple apart from the two barre chords which appear (F# and B minor). Other than that, you can use simple open chords and the strum pattern is quite straightforward. On the original track, it sounds like the acoustic guitar parts were played with barre shapes higher up the neck, and possibly on a 12-string.

Based on Vince Taylor (Brand New Cadillac) who took too much LSD and went insane. He bumped into the then David Jones outside a London tube station and pulled out a map to show David where the spiders from Mars would land.

Hey man i love your videos! Can you please do starman, there are some really difficult strumming patterns in the verses (especially the start of the second). Thanks
Starman is one I've wanted to do a while, but you know what? I can't get the chords in that damn intro right! There are all sorts of different ways out there to play it and I haven't yet found one that seems correct to me.
LeftHandedGuitarist try playing a b flat on the 6th fret but leave the high e open and then back to f.
It's not quite that. You can hear there's no sliding sound between the chords and what little live footage there is shows David playing down around the 1st-3rd fret for both chords.
