Power Armored soldiers hunting down advanced tech? Mf the Enclave have just become the Brotherhood of Steel
And the Fallout 4 Brotherhood is basically just the Enclave. They just playing musical chairs
@@windwaker105 Makes some sense as they both came from the US government.
I feel like it’s different with the enclave since they are tracking down THEIR technology, more specifically military hardware which has been stolen or gone missing and not hoarding any form of technology like the brother hood does
I feel like it's less just tracking down...as the fallout show put it "toaster ovens" and more rebuilding after fallout 3
Yea he worded it a bit weird which makes it sound exactly like the brotherhood but the enclave are tracking down their own tech not just random advanced tech
Somehow, Thomas Eckhart has returned.
Eckhart?

Was that a unintentional rise of Skywalker reference at the start?
"Somehow, President Eden Returned..."
Not unintentional lol
I mean, he is an ai, so it's not out of question. Yet
@@Dekuthetechpristofgreatbritain true
Wait what
Funnily enough, there’s actually a really creepy bug in Fallout 3 where, after you destroy Raven Rock, the Enclave Radio still plays. However, it’ll just be Eden saying “We stand now, at the precipice” (the first lines of his final, looping broadcast if you convince him to not destroy Raven Rock) endlessly.
Fallout 5 the enclave has returned. Again.
And the Master! They're all back! Frank Horrigan survived his bisection and head popping off, and then the nuclear explosion from the Oil Rig. And guess what, he's got President Eden in his helmet just like Cortana and the Master Chief! The gang is all here!
I am okay with it if it means there’s more than three enemy types in 99% of the game
Just like Rocksteady's Joker
@rationaledecay1243 I am absolutely on fuckin board for that. Sort of how the Old World Blues submod Enclave reborn did it- you get a choice between Reformers(which results in a much more benevolent Enclave that can even accept super mutants) or Purists(which has a more standard depiction of the Enclave.)
There's no way we get that, but hey it'd be cool.
@rationaledecay1243the midwestern chapter of the brotherhood would be there in Chicago though
Was hoping for a longer quest considering it’s the enclave. But the new armor and Tesla cannon are pretty nice.
Sorry mate asking for too much there
this is bethesda we talking about, so. . .
I'm mad that a maxed out x02 is exactly the same as a maxed out x01
America Rising has been updated and should work on all platforms according to their discord.
I've started my first playthrough with the mod and so far it just works.
Tesla cannon has great damage, near instant fire rate. And no reload time.
Todd, we better be able to join Enclave in FO5 like we can in FO76!
Let them rest, same goes with the BoS
As much as I don’t really trust Bethesda on the west coast, I am intrigued how they would handle NCR and the other factions, maybe it won’t seem so played out.
I wouldn’t personally mind an NCR vs BoS game, two “good” factions being at war would really give the player some agency and not feel so black and white
@@PrototypeXt3we saw how they handled the NCR. They’re on their last legs as a faction.
@@theconmantube3449 that’s true but I’m on team “there’s more to the story than they have said so far”
I’m sure the NCR still exists, we just don’t know the extent of it yet! But my initial comment was mostly about a game, preferably before the show so the NCR is still pretty huge
@@misterpotato427 no screw you, the Enclave must return!
When I first started following the blood trail I was thinking "probably a Deathclaw or Yao Guai" then I see the Enclave and immediately thought "Getting Fallout 3 flashbacks"

i know the mod pretty nice touch😂
Ngl a game were we'd play as a enclave remnant trying to just make up for thier contribution to the enclave's horrible actions would be pretty nice in my opinion.
The closest thing we have is New Vegas, where we can convince them to fight for a better cause.
I just hope we have the opportunity to play a fallout game where we’re *not* a vault dweller again
I just hope we have the opportunity to play a fallout game where we’re *not* a vault dweller again
Honestly, I just want one where you can fully play as the enclave, fun to be the baddie sometimes.
Sounds like that be a modern tactics game “Fallout Tactics: Enclave Remnants”

Fallout 2: Return of the Enclave
Fallout 3: Revenge of the Return of the Enclave

Literally they could have just rolled America Rising 2 into the base game and canonized it.
That's what I thought they were doing when I heard that there were Enclave quests added into the game.
This is what I have been saying since they released info about the Enclave "returning." The Enclave are the comedic bad guy that always gets defeated (even though they have better training, armor, and weapons than the BoS). The Enclave in America Rising 2 is so badass. The Enclave in that mod is how the Enclave SHOULD BE. They are not good guys but are also not bad guys...they are morally grey.
@@LostDisciple24since when THE HELL have they been morally gray, at least on the aspects of their greater goals.
They’ve been trying to commit world wide genocide since they first appeared, what’s morally grey about that.
We remember Navarro
I love how in the terminal when the Enclave addresses possible hostiles in the commonwealth they state to avoid any conflict with the brother hood of steal ❤ referring back to fallout 3s battle for project purity
Honestly wished the quest line begins when you are something like level 35 instead of starting the moment you leave the vault
Does it really start so early? Guess I got lucky in having put some hours into my new save ahead of the update
@@SimonRowley-mm1bp yeah it starts the moment you leave the vault but will still be hard if you try and do it since they still wear power armor and have good laser weapons.
@wendellguy5269 I think there power armour might also scale as I found them wearing X-01. If it does scale then that's another reason why it's stupid to start immediately.
@@Firetick7-8862 yeah it does scale which is another reason why you should wait until you are like level 15-20 to deal with the enclave quests
@@Firetick7-8862 but there might be a guaranteed X02 if you deal with speak of the devil. I’m not entirely sure though so you might want to save before you do it.
"One enclave, one America, now and forever!"
Honestly, even after all this time. I'd like them to release the under water vault DLC.
Just the idea of a Rapture inspired vault with a hyper intelligent squid running it. Seams like such a shame to miss that out.
Tbh that's the only quest I'd be willing to buy from the creation club. I suppose it's very ambitious though since the game isn't built for underwater combat, though I'm sure it's possible going by Oblivion or they ckuld even take some inspiration from starfield space combat, if you needed a little submarine to kill yhe squid or something.
YES! AND IT WOULD BE NOT CREATIVELY BANKRUPT... The new armor is pretty great though tbh
There can’t possibly be many of these guys left. Like, every single base and outpost of theirs we’ve seen in any Fallout game has ended up either destroyed or abandoned. The Oil Rig, Navarro, Raven Rock, Adams Air Force Base, the Whitespring Bunker. What do they even have left?
More secret bases
it's a goverment and corporate backed cabal of the most ruthless and diehard jingoists it makes total sense they'd have more than a handful of bases when they had the resources of the us' elite at their disposal, I'd be more surprised if they were gone for good.
After completing Speak of the Devil I got the "Echoes of the Past" quest.
After which I had obtained 12 full sets of power armor. Don't mind if I yes.
And within Echoes of the past I got 3 heavy incinerators too. A proper win
Yup. Getting x-02 and hellfire at Mk6 before level 20 was a bit crazy. I started the quest completely on accident by killing the pyromaniac guy then got jumped by the enclave and freaked out cuz I didn't even know they had been added and I was underleveled. The power armour is so op though.
I would love if in the next fallout you are in a vault but it’s a vault in control of the enclave so your learning through their eyes but you and your family have to escape due to an attack either by the BOS or the NCR, the protagonist would be called “the patriot”
I think it should have been a bit longer
I wish the enclave was a fraction you can join
I think it was an option in Fallout 3
I recently and accidentally done this while searching for Virgil. Got confused AF
Here's a trend that you didn't wanna hear
"Somehow the Enclave returned."
I like the Enclave dlc but I wish it was longer
This is going to go perfectly with America rising 2
That would be interesting
An enclave player character fighting against enclave soldiers
The longest thing on this quest was finding the base in the glowing sea, my radio wasn't working. Also the E on the left Power Armor arm ist mirrored making it the 3Nclave.
That’s actually a thing militaries do. When you see patches of the US flag on a soldier’s uniform or gear, it’ll look horizontally flipped on the right shoulder. That’s to give the impression that the flag is billowing behind the soldier as he charges into battle. It’s less noticeable on flags with a symmetrical design.
@@DragonxFlutter thanks for the answer but I fail to see how that would look like the flag moving behind. Must be a perception thing. The only way I would see it like waving or billowing "behind" if the soldier retreats running backwards.
@@CRYOKnox No, because the patch on the opposite side is the right way around. Because flags don't look the same on each side unless the design is symmetrical. Like, imagine if it's a flag on a pole stuck to a guy's back. Now stick it on the guy's shoulders.
I wish I could have talked to the Enclave before they started shooting at me
The game where the brotherhood bias is undoubtedly there.
Good job on being in uniform, soldier!
Bro I got a hit on me for the enclave in fall out 4 it’s the first time I’ve ever seen that
And they are the biggest pains ever now.
I would have loved to see the T-65 power armor

The America rising 2 mod adds the Enclave as a faction you can join and go throughout the entire game with, even beating the game with a massive scale war. Its awesome, i recommend all enclave fans to try!
I was looking for a comment about that awesome mod. I feel that Bethesda only did this because of how popular that mod is
Can you download it on next gen??? I’m new to fallout just completed the main quest line in fallout 4 and it was so much fun. I don’t know how to download mods though and this sounds like a fun one to download if possible
@ilovemydogscookieandbella are you on Playstation, xbox or pc? Because unfortunately if ur on Playstation it's a no and it should work
they should’ve had the enclave as a fallout fraction that you can join
Would be fun but difficult, given their omnicidal goals
@@SimonRowley-mm1bponly the oil rig group from the second game wanted mass genocide. The third game group did not want to do that just the genocidal computer did. Colonel Autumn and his men did not want that. Fallout 76 did not have a single group that wanted to commit mass genocide either.
Exactly, many people have a distorted view of the Enclave. While the group from the oil rig platforms was comprised of the "original" government with the idea of causing a massive genocide to be the sole survivors, the second group understood that it would be impossible to return to the pre-war times. Radiation, whether one likes it or not, would inevitably affect everyone, and that was unavoidable. Their mission was always to help others. Autumn was smart enough to realize that reigning over an empty wasteland is foolish. Of course, they wanted to seize Project Purity to be seen as saviors and to govern the people, but that led to a confrontation with the Brotherhood, plus manipulation by the Supercomputer, a machine created under the ideas of the first Enclave group.
@@Aldritch9183 yeah and what's really funny is the brotherhood end up doing exactly what the enclave wanted to do with project parody.
@@justincary4803 Yes, in the end, the rivalry between the BoS and the Enclave doesn't make much sense, or at least not with the current Enclave. Both have the same objectives, but they both want to be the ones in charge. In Fallout 3, all that fighting over the project between both factions boils down to who had the bigger one, and of course, it turned out to be our patriotic robot, Liberty Prime. Even in FO4, Danse refers to the Enclave as a "rebel group," when in reality, they're the deserters xD.
I'm really happy they're back. I felt like their absence was missed in Boston
Unlike Raven Rock being in some proximity to DC, there’s no big governmental bunkers (that we know of) left on the east coast. Would have been delightful to find a remnant that escaped the Brotherhood, though perhaps that’s retreading how New Vegas handled them.
@SimonRowley-mm1bp I'm chill with them not being in every game and I agree that a remnants story could be too similar to NV. Maybe it would have been cool for some institute scientists to be former Enclave?
@@SimonRowley-mm1bpNorfolk naval Base and it just got leaked in fallout 76
That quest line gives you so much damn power armor I made like 10,000 caps just from excess
Even though it’s not cannon, the American Rising 2 mod for fallout 4 is amazing! It adds the Enclave as a faction choice for the main game with its own repeatable side missions and everything! It’s high enough quality I sometimes forget I’m playing a mod. Plus they (the enclave NPCs) look a lot cooler than they do in the new update. That being said I’d love to join the enclave in Fallout 5.
Accidentally stumbled across this update quest while working on the main story
A 1 hour quest and few already existing armors and weapons just so all mods can break, well worth it bethesda
Hell yea it should have been longer and once you wipe them out …….no more. But the Chinese 40mm grenade launcher is cool.
Should have been longer and have Danse give some unique reactions.
I wouldn't mind starting off as a Enclave Soilder on the Fallout game
I enjoyed the big red boxes with exclamation marks on them. What fun and exciting weapons.
nexus has the Liberty Reborn mod that gives you a whole ass enclave playthrough
yep we enclave are gonna hold it a lot more tighter this time i brought them with my past enlistment as hellfire trooper they are actually a lot of help i even aided them in capturing the institutes tech to make them more firm and sturdy as well
I had fun taking out their vertabird with my neverending missile launcher
What I found cool about it is that the Echoes of the Past content was created by Otellino. He also created an enclave faction mod called America Rising 2 for Fallout 4.
If you include his America Rising 2 mod, as well as the Atlas Summit, Operation Wilkes Estate, and Lima Detachment mods made by MrColonelMustard, you'll have a solid base for the Enclave in Fallout 4, regardless if you wanna fight them or join them.
I just want a plot line where you can play as a reformed enclave trying to reclaim America
The free versions of those Enclave Power Armors that came first are still better to me
It definitely should’ve been longer but what they have in already is pretty good
I did like the quests but it should have been longer
Will we ever be able to side with the Enclave?
Short is the key word
“Somehow X has returned” is now a meme that will never die, thanks badly made star wars
I hope there’s more than like the 3 outposts I’ve seen. Would love it to be like FO3 where the enclave are everywhere on patrol and would like it if they actively hunted you.
"returned"
A lot of people are skeptical about remnants of the Enclave being out there, but they seem to have holed up in multiple places around the US, I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep poppin in here and there.
I must say, having installed America Rising 2 which adds different Enclave forces to the game. It was odd being enemies with this smaller group. I guess General Ward considers them renegades. :D
Love that reference 😂
Being a questline, I wish it was longer. But I'm kinda glad Bethesda teased it as a single quest, at least we got a nice surprise out of that
I wish it could have been longer but for a creation club thing it's great. I think Bethesda missed a big opportunity making a full fledged dlc with more capital wasteland throwbacks. A replicated man followup where we find out what Dr Zimmer is doing.
BoS! Enclave! Father! Son! Uhh. Uhh. Uhh. Super mutants!!!
I did echoes of the past first, they sent a hit squad while I was in a vertibird in survival mode because I was going to the Slog.
I suddenly saw the Pyro quest completed, I once i went down I killed them and search Pyro's body, blud didn't stand a chance against the hit squad.
they aren't just hunting down technology, they're hunting down the tech that they had in fallout 3, they're trying to reclaim their lost "property"
Definitely think it was fun even if I don’t want them back it’s nice and kinda logical to see small bands of them around tho ngl
The X-02 has always been my favorite, so this is a major dub in my opinion.
That enclave hellfire power armor looks dope af!
I would refer to see them as a small faction more or less like in fallout new Vegas
Love if it was longer and had a notable boss in it, also would like specific uniforms for them instead of just green, been cool if you ignore them till act 2 you could see them fighting with the brotherhood (like the good old days) but I'm quite satisfied with them as they are, also tip for people. Dont turn off the enclave relays they will keep spawning there if you do and you can farm them for power armor, plasma weapons and ammo and other items
I just started playing fallout four again and I was randomly attacked by the enclave and I was like what the fuck this is new!
I want to join and be trained by the best Sargeant in this man's army
Modders did this wayyy before Bethesda
Yeah, but at least the mod I played, Depravity, was hilariously terrible (like, Preston is a member of the Enclave terrible).
Ok
This was made by a modder lol , same one who did America rising
@@AJadedLizardThe fuck...Preston and Enclave...that's just messed up
@@Post_the_most Honestly that's not even the dumbest part. (It's not Depravity, incidentally, it's Outcasts and Remnants, from the same author, which does this; I've not played Depravity, because its central conceit is that not only can you side with the Institute, you can choose not to kill Kellogg, the man who *murdered your spouse, all your neighbors, and tried to murder you.* It's dumb. It's just fucking dumb.).
There's a Vault you find in the Glowing Sea which features a very clear Donald Trump parody, arguing for isolation. He's meant to be the bad guy, except...the Vault is *in* the Glowing Sea, the place where literally everything, including the air itself, is trying to kill you. Keeping the Vault sealed is completely reasonable in this scenario, but TDS makes you a bad writer. Buddy also disabled comments on all his mods "because COVID" and just never turned them back on four years later, which is really fucking funny to me. "Just post on my Discord" he says, which is definitely a sign of a person capable of taking criticism, who doesn't need to retreat to a completely curated environment where he can hide any unfriendly opinions.
In truth I figured it would be a radiant quest line
for a game that’s a decade old
it’s more than we could ever ask for🎉
I was thrilled to have the enclave back. I do wish it was a bit longer but I enjoyed what there was. I’m on a mission to fill all my power armour frames with enclave armour
"Somehow the enclave returned" is exactly what i said when i saw the show, 8/10 though. want more
I do wish it was longer, or at the very least have some random Enclave patrols.
If you get the incinerator at the Saugus Ironworks, then you will be hunted by the enclave, which will also start the story line.
Honestly not surprised its short. True bathesda fashion. Kill everyones mod lists and add a somewhat decent quest XD
I wonder if this makes this creation club addition canon to the game now.
Very good question, though it doesn’t tell us much either way
The Enclave strikes back.
I think I would have preferred it to be longer. And more of a story quest too. Like, if you had joined the Minutemen or BoS then they attack you and your settlements, and eventually they attack your HQ. Turns out they are working with the Gunners or the Institute. Then if you are playing with the Institute, they reach out in hopes of allying only to try and take the Institute by force. Deceivers
I got ambushed before any interaction with the quest. Was fast travelling in my PA when I was ambushed. Not complaining. Got enclave pa for a bit of work.
Somehow i keepcrashing at the lockdown
It was just a little bonus add on they didnt have to do it but they did and i appreciate it.
I was kinda hoping for full on official America Rising 2 (which could have been hella easy and a big honor to the mod creator), but it is what it is. Happy we got the Enclave in FO4 (I’m very biased for the Enclave)
It would’ve been cool if the enclave had its own DLC after all these years. Imagine if they had agents inside the institute, or even more than that being that the institute was actually secretly a branch of the Enclave, and you could join them since you would fit right into their ideology of being a human and not like the rest of the muties outside since you were frozen in time. And killing the humans outside and replacing them with synths sounds exactly like what the enclave would do
To be fair, the Fallout Show is set a while after Fallout 4 and the Enclave still exist then, albeit in a secret location, so it’s not difficult to insert the Enclave into this timeframe.
We know the Enclave is still active; the TV show is cannon, and takes place years after the game, and has the Enclave in it.
People really surprised when they are literally called the “ENCLAVE”
If we're not going to receive a new fallout game for a couple years they should continue to make new quests and add on content, it would be good to see the enclave make a permanent return to the franchise
The game came out a very long time ago. The least they could have done was at least 3 new DLC 5 hours each.
I actually had a lot of fun with this update
The helmet on the X02 😬
Tesla cannon is so strong.
At least we have America Rising 2
