Hi ! I am following you since one year now and I really appreciate the quality of your video. I am starting finasteride very soon. I will get my Testostérone and Oestradiol level checked first as you recommend me. Unfortunately where I live, in France, i can't find finasteride 1mg without Titanium Dioxide, wich I really want to avoid considering other health problem i have. I have found Finasteride without Titanium Dioxide but it's 5mg. If i break the capsule in 5 pieces, it will be around 1mg per piece. But some might be 0.8 and some might be 1.2. Do you think it's a problem if the daily dosage varies a little bit. It seems negligeable for me but I would be very happy to have your advice on this. If you allow me I have an other question. I have Ulcerative Colitis, pretty active, and I am really annoyed by all the others ingredients in Finasteride, such as sodium laurylsulfate, titanium dioxide etc... I know they are present in very low dose, but considering my condition it's not recommended at all. Do you know if they are laboratories that produce finasteride with very fiew excipients or at least not dangerous one (Titanium dioxide has been banned from Food in EU and will be ban from medecin in 2025-26). Titanium Dioxide is a colorant and opacifier and has no medical use other than this. So a local pharmacy formulary should be able to dispense this for you. I have not tried this for any client since it is still well tolerated across most patients.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Finasteride caused hair loss. It's been 2 years since I've done fin off and still only the symptoms get worse, but they don't recover. Fin seems to have broken the androgen receptor production system
So after 2 years your shedding how much hair a day?? How long were you on fin and what do you mean it seems to have broken your androgen receptor system??
Docotr also please make a video on future treatments like hair cloning etc which u know will come in near future since u guys are the ones who might know researchers of these things and are in touch with them. Would be like an update to ur old video on future treatments which was uploaded few years back
There has been no progress to my old video and this is an embarrassment. I phoned companies and their R&D and many informed me they were on the verge of announcing their new release but noone ever did. I will never do a video on this again. Apologies!

Hey doc I’m wondering would ru58841 cause reflex hyper alone?? It work’s different then fin since it just binds to the receptor but not lower dht so WILL IT CAUSE REFLEX HYPERANDROGENECITY??

Doctor i was NW1, i was shedding some thin miniaturised hairs so I started Finasteride 1mg everyday for maintenance, but still after 7 months, i am below baseline, texture worsened and density seems low. I feel oilier scalp, and i did blood test, DHT reduced by only 23% and Testosterone increased by atleast 60%. Doctor, is this reflex hyperandrogenecity? Pls help. What can I do? I still shed more than pre-fin phase. I am 21 years old

OMG, something similar happened to me 15 years ago. I started taking oral finasteride 1.25mg/day - first 3 months my hair started growing so thick - it was amazing. After 3 or 4 months everything started falling out and my hair thinned so much. At first, I thought that it was a normal shedding but for one year straight it was getting worst and worst. As you say, Im hypogonadic (I know it now after lab tests) and in that period, my beard started growing more and more, legs got hairy (during finasteride). After full year, I stopped with finasteride and my hair got better. Now I started topical finasteride 0.025% to try again... Im on it for about one month. Do I need to stop using it after 3 months abruptly? Im not sure...

Hello doctor. I have taken fin for six months, i got some little improvements at first, but right after this it started to get like it was before. Thought it could be shedding, but i switched to dutasteride because i was desperate. Im taking it for almost 20 days. Still no improvements but i feel more energy to make exercises. No sexual sides. Did i make the bad decision. Can dutasteride really destroy both hair and hormones instead of regrowth hair. Or maybe i am a non responder. I started taking as prescribe by a doctor. If I can answer, I think The doctor said in an other video that Dutasteride works same way as Finasteride but cover more DHT blockers or something like that. So it's a stronger drug, a bit more effective but with a bit more side effect as well. If Finasteride didnt work for you I think you are doing right taking dutasteride and 0.5mg is the correct dosage. You need to wait at least 3 to 6 months to see if it works for you. If it works you can try to take it every other day as dutasteride stay a long time in the body.

Have not used it but there is not enough data available with these medications. It has not been around for long and most people do not use it.

The dosage is not enough to cause RH. You could add Dutasteride 05 mg once a week in place of that day's dosage of Finasteride. Should settle.

Topical F does not matter. Not potent enough to cause sides.

@@DemienDemien You do not have to do any such thing with topical. It hardly has an effect. Side effects are a far cry.
