No its many evidences that she never married anyone (4 Roses on grave, scarf, flowers on her grave, she refuse to forget eren when he ask) and almost zero about her being married cuz this almost not visible ring on left hand can mean even purity and virginity not marrity
@@CarlyXeroxher not being married would pretty much imply she’s a slave to Eren’s love even after his death. I feel she married Jean but still loved Eren
@@reijhinru1474 And sorry to say this but Aot is not about Mikasa's marriage even though it's an important detail it's still a detail. More importantly is the boy who went to the giant tree that's way more important and there are details thet goes to show that the cycle if it's repeated (80/100 chance) won't be the same cycle of violence because Titans might not even reappear, here's a great comment that should be included in the end of the serie for the people saying : " What was the point of it all ?" "for the final scene, when Ymir found the tree that she fell in, she was being hunted, chased by dogs and in need of an undying body and a world free from death, which she created when she touched the "origin of all life". However, with the final scene, we see an innocent child, accompanied by a companion in the form of a dog, approaching the hole in the tree where Eren's head was buried. The scene all around feels a lot more optimistic but is intentionally ambiguous. Does he also need an undying body, or something else? I like to think that he enters that tree with no malicious intent or peril, but instead curiosity and hope." A real masterpiece
@@abekvtthe kid will not become a titan. He is alive when he arrived at the tree, and he got a dog companions. Ymir was dying and chased by dogs that’s why the “life” gave her a chance to be alive again and have titan powers.
@@CherrySlush26 nah, Eren turned into a bird... not sure if that counts as hell... Armin is married to ANNIE....... that's probably hell after a couple of years after she becomes a biotch and the sex gets stale LOL
@@therearenoshortcuts9868Eren did not turn into a bird, the bird is very clearly symbolic. And all three of them are in hell, Mikasa isn't innocent either and she's killed/injured titans and humans.
actually, when Hange died, she was blown up by the ODM gear gaining too much heat and when Erwin died, he got hit by a rock thrown by Zeke but in the afterlife, Hange was not burnt and Erwin did not have a hole in his side but lost his arm before dying and Hange lost her eye before dying
Its a certainity that Mikasa did not marry anyone else. Anybody who followed her character throughout the series knows that there could be nobody else who could fill that void left by eren. Her feelings were not just love for Eren but rather love combined with lots of obsession. Her last conversation with eren (the sequence where he runs away with her leaving the war) confirms to mikasa that her feelings of love were reciprocated by Eren which he had never done earlier. He showed Mikasa that all he wanted was to leave the war and stay with her, just the two of them. But that reality made him sad knowing that everyone of their friends would die if they made that choice. But for the first time eren openly expressed his love for Mikasa. So her marrying anybody else while still clinging on to the scarf would be as out of character as a titan eating grass. Add that with all the symbolism, it would be illogical to believe that she would ever move on. Hell, even without the symbolism the arguments in favour of her not marrying anyone are too strong to ignore. The Ending song confirms that she meets with eren in the afterlife and this gives the best possible conclusion to their story given how the story ended. (i have very very mixed feelings, mostly negative, about the overall ending of the series and ymir was the worst plot device ever but thats a different debate). I am just happy that they gave an eventual happy ending to Eren and Mikasa.
I really agree with your explanation, Isayama used the meaning of flowers a lot, if he had used it only once I wouldn't have given it importance but he really used it many times. Then sticking to your speech where Eren tells him to throw away the scarf and forget it she refuses saying she can't do it has an important meaning if you add that Isayama said that for Mikasa the scarf is like an engagement ring
@@Pettywins You are spot on; it makes no sense character wise. But i think you are wrong in calling jean arrogant. There was no animosity at all between eren and jean; it was mainly a personality difference and sort of clash of egos between guys. Jean was as important to eren as conny or sasha. And Jean was definitely a pillar of support and a lifelong friend/family for mikasa. But so were conny, sasha and others. But when it comes to romantic interest there is absolutley less than zero chance that mikasa would ever marry jean. And jean also would never make a move on her because he has been a close witness to eren and mikasa's journey since their training days and so he understands what they mean to each other. I like jean's character, he is slightly underrated in my opinion.
I suppose but I would assume Eren would want Mikasa to move on, live a long live, he would have wanted her to be happy even if a part of him did want to be her focus for at least another ten years, I really did not like it when he said that by the way
Even for us manga readers but it is truth jean and mikasa did make it there is a panel there that mikasa holding a baby with jean while visiting eren grave in the hill. Only isayama knows i guess@@pushpenderkumarsingh3369
I like how you added the part where Erens VA and Mikasas VA sang together in the ending song by Linked Horizon, but did you realize that Erens VA came into the song at the time when the bird showed up to wrap the scarf? And he also came in when the lyrics said "Tatakae to takakae to", which I thought was a cool touch.
6:07 The kids running towards the tree are actually meant to symbolize the other Scouts as suggested by their similar appearance. I can distinctly point out Jean, Connie, Sasha, Ymir, Historia, Berholdt, Annie, Reiner and Marco 😲 the nine of them also symbolizing the amount of original titan shifters
Just my two cents, Eren did ask her to get rid of the scarf after his demise (which she didn’t), and since she was buried with the same scarf (and next to Eren’s grave no less), chances are her heart remained with him, even if she did remarry 😢. As for the ring, it could be a purity ring?
I'm not sure if she married or not but I will point out that lilies are REALLY popular at funerals, regardless of if that person was married or not. But I suppose if we look at the symbolism it could indicate. But then if that's the case I think I'd find it a bit weird that Mikasa was buried with flowers that represented her virginity statues. Instead of flowers that conveyed messages from her loved ones. Whatever, maybe she asked to be buried with them idk
Isayama does do alot of deep meanings about small stuff and I can see Mikasa not marrying anyone . This is just my opinion I believe she didn't marry anyone but it's ok other people to speculate of she did marry
Because she was buried next to eren, the husband is the most significant person in a woman's life, she should have been buried next to jean not eren, also in the official outro she is sorrounded by white flowers with her scarf on and is reunited with eren as for the hair the farmer as well as Armin have the same back hairstyle in the manga so we can't say that it was jean
I definitly agree with isayamas usage of symbolism throughout the series, in fact I once saw someone point out that when Mikasa was looking at the praying mantis eating the moth, to symbolize a cruel world, Female praying mantis kill their mate by decapitating them.
I will prove that Mikasa was not married And after reading this you never want to search this again 1. If your argument is it was wedding rings There is no wedding rings in aot eran mother, zeke mother, historia doesn't had any ring on her hand you can search thier images in Googles and she there is no any wedding ring exists in aot And mikasa was buried with white and blue Lilly which indicates purity and virginity and if she is wearing any wedding ring (i already mentioned there is no wedding rings but for example if she) so she was not a virgin so what the white Lilly was doing there It clearly means it was a purity ring 2 . The person with Mikasa In the manga's last chapter, Mikasa was standing with armin and their armin had big hair just like jean and he was only comforting mikasa there He was erans and Mikasa's best friend he always comes to visit eran's grave even after Mikasa's death If mikasa is married to someone why her husband burey her wife with her ex and why only Armin is visiting their grave not her husband Because it was armin As it mentioned in anime that the Eran reach first then Mikasa then armin when they run towards the tree And their dying order was the same 3 . About that child He was not Mikasa's child because in manga when she was old till that time she covered her hand and never passed that mark to her child ,why , because he was not her child Maybe The child was from an orphanage where Mikasa was living with the child's to escape from sadness She already worked there with historia and she was also an orphan when her parents die So there are many chances that she was living with kids with peace. 4. Height difference Mikasa holding a kid that why she was in sitting position but the person was standing on his knees that why if Mikasa stand there is a very little height difference and also a male grow till his 25 And some extra proofs 1. 4 flowers she puts on the eran grave means my love for you was the same and no one can come between us 1 rose means you are the only one whom i love 2. Mikasa writes on eran's grave ,rest in peace my beloved one. 3. She is buried next to eran, only couples graves are together 4. And the music itterasahai meaning and the video which only was released in japna but now its available in yt also she was reunited with eran after her death. Thanks for reading Shinzō wo Sasageyo!"

The thing is our legendary Isayama is the main antagonist here, let me confirm it, in manga when mikasa visited eren's grave she still had those bandages on her hand, even her mother told her to pass it to her kids, but she didn't, and in the coffin there were lily flowers, the scarf( and the scarf also serve as engagement ring) and she still have those bandages along with the flowers and scarf, that prove she didn't married to anyone, And in Anime isayama made changes into this just add a not clearly visible ring instead of those bandages, in order to maintain the hype, it is purity ring, which also can wear in the left hand ring finger, and about the KID, mikasa worked in historia's orphanage, she adopted the kid, And the story starts with Eren, Mikasa and Armin, also end with showing those three, eren's first miksasa second and armin's chasing them, there is no other characters.
I wanna believe this because it's so nice *BUT* if you look at her death with the flowers, you can see her wearing an engagement ring, making it most likely that the family visiting Eren's grave was made by her and she's presenting what's come of her life to him.
@@lock1785 It's anime only and you could only see the ring from zooming in on her corpse from the ending (I saw it zoomed in on a reddit post). It could've been a chastity ring honestly. It's amazing how Iseyama can create such vague clues to leave things to your imagination.
My main theory of Mikasas marriage is that she didn't marry anyone. The white Lilly you mentioned are Habenaria radiata according to Wikipedia which infact means Purity and delicateness, what's more interesting is the following quote: "I'll be thinking of you even in my dreams" which connects that Mikasa thinks about Eren very much But when she's remarried, I was disappointed with my arguments. But the video is fantastic
There's 2 very conflicting theories for AOT here. 1) Mikasa didn't marry 2) The boy we see in the end of AOT is mikasa's decendant. As much as I like both theories so much, only one of them is true.

Did you know: The founding titan was created by a hallucigenia. Hallucigenias can't walk backwards, and will keep moving forward until their enemies are destroyed.
Personally, for me Mikasa did not marry anyone. In the manga it was more hinted that she did not, unlike in the anime bcuz we dont have the Hizuru bandage so it most likely sways to the fact that Mikasa did marry someone. Not even in the character bio said that she is married to someone. At the end of the day, Isayama did left it open. He did not confirm anything Last thing, people are saying "Youre cruel if you dont want Mikasa to move on" Does moving on automatically means you must be in a realtionship? To have kids? Moving on doesnt mean you must be married 🤷🏻♂️
Well I'm in anime the ring she's wearing is PURITY RING which means to stay pure until marriage cause wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot even Carla didn't wear any ring and ur was shown she was literally buried next to Eren and they got reunited in the afterlife which implies she didn't get married

😮EREN'S CHILD THEORY!!!😮😮😮 I think Mikasa didn't married and when Eren talked to Mikasa with the founding Titan power Eren told Mikasa to move on but Mikasa refused and wanted to always love Eren and after Eren explains Mikasa that for the betterment of the world and his friends Mikasa has to kill him and Mikasa understands this and wanted a last thing from Eren as his presence and that was "A CHILD" and Eren using the founding Titan power gives Mikasa a child and die and that's why Mikasa was showing the child EREN'S grave because it was his fathers and the man was armin..... And in the end the trio was again under the same tree where they all started their journey.... ❤ I know this is wild but...😐 Comment what you think about this... 😊
If u saw the nine birds representing the nine titans in 9ne of the openings you might wanna hear this i think when a shifter dies they all turn into a bird as seen with eren
Stop talking nonsense, it's a purity ring, Mikasa and Eren, it's for life and Jean, he took advantage of Mikasa's weakness and I think it's just a dream that Jean had, it's all stopped blabbering anything
Mikasa and Eren were only together for 10 years but if you look closely in Mikasa's OVA and earlier anime episodes suggest that she loves Eren and Eren rejects Mikasa as only a family saying "I am not your younger brother or anything". Look it up, it has many episodes of Eren saying that. They lived from 9yrs old when Mikasa's parents were murdered in the woods till 19yrs old when she killed Eren. She lived most likely till 70-75yrs old assuming she either was single or with an adopted family or married. In the frames, we can see Old Mikasa's grave next to Eren under the Tree exactly in the position where she always sits. By logic, marrying someone for 50yrs is always the priority than being in love with the dead man 50yrs ago. Mikasa and her family (Armin/Jean/Farmer-kun/adoption whoever it is) had no business to bury Mikasa beside Eren because as what we all know, she moved on. She did not forget Eren but she moved on and is happy with her family. Unless otherwise there's a last will declared by Mikasa that when she dies and her husband will abide by it then maybe that's it. I doubt any husband or family, be in anime or real life would allow her wife for 50yrs old to be buried to her wife's ex lover 50yrs ago and be okay with it. For a man would rather be not married than be married as a second fiddle
there could be 2 grave stone, one of the tree and another for her actual burial. We never see what it was written. Or maybe it could be a warning for the future to keep the peace or what lies beneath the tree is not something you want to mess with. (but that didn't end so well sadly)
@@milchbrotchen2930 I agree. Her last words before thanking Eren for wrapping the scarf around her was “I wanted to see you again” Mikasa in the timeskip got her own family by adopting from Historia’s orphanage and this is most logical. After the war, Mikasa is unemployed and the only friend who could help her was historia. During her visit to Eren’s grave she wore the same clothing as historia when she’s working in the orphanage. To anyone who suspect that it’s Jean behind her well it doesn’t matter. They are not married. Jean was the first to tell Mikasa “Let’s kill Eren”. How can Mikasa forget this? We can still see Mikasa longing for Eren in the ending and by seeing Jean Mikasa can have flashbacks to this event which is one of the worst moment of her life. Also Jean’s dream life was living with his wife and child in a wealthy, luxury, and lively neighborhood while Mikasa’s dream life was just living with his loveone in a peaceful, far from danger and noisy environmrnt. The contrast is obvious. Also Jean now lives abroad. As a Jean fan, he better find someone else who will treat him like how Mikasa treats Eren. I don’t want Jean’s grave to be “2nd most beloved, 2nd dear”. Since the alliance keeps travelling I’m pretty sure he’ll find someone else.
Mikasa's grave next to Eren was just a rumour, they zoomed at the tree and the shadow of the hole in the tree looked like a square and people took it for a grave. Even if you zoom closely you will see a shadow formed from 2 branches. It was only a rumour😂
As a new AoT fan who started 4 days ago, i am now on the season 4 specials (the movies). And honestly, i still cant believe how the story played out with Eren becoming the villain in the end. As someone who has internal turmoil like Eren, i could never bleed out on others who have nothing to do with my suffering.
9:07 now in the afterlife they probably got their limbs back as the scene levi saw was a hallucination rather than the scouts coming back to meet levi so levi imagined them with how they looked in the final moments he saw them
True, though it doesn't look good for Levi when he dies, nor Eren (in hell?) either. Since the head injuries of Eren discussed in the video is up in the air (there's the possibility of when Gabi did), and Levi's injuries also happened long before his eventual death.
also something i picked up on the names porco and falco note the names and the progression of the three pigs to the whole freedom/bird theme. porco represents that cage being open and falco represents taking that leap to freedom BUT I GET IT THAT ITS ALL OPINION BASED WITH THESE LITTLE THINGS
Oh wow I didn't realize it could be Armin with her! 😲 I originally was convinced it was Jean that she married and had a family with (and he was understanding of her love for Eren).
@yukeenakamura1398 I know that, I meant that all this time I thought it was Jean with her and their baby rather than Armin and possibly his child. I still think it's her baby regardless because it has black hair like hers.
You also forgot to mention that as mikasa was last seen walking off his erens head, he sheds a tear. There are some theories that suggest that eren knew that he would have to take Ymir’s place and never see mikasa again but he couldn’t tell anyone that because they would never let him go.
Up until this video (apart from cope material that said otherwise) I felt that it was pretty clear she got married, but I think you offer a valid argument. I never thought about how the man and lady with the baby could be Mikasa with Armin and his baby. I still feel like it’s leaning towards implying she got married but it feels less for sure now.
6:22 in the manga it was even more clear that she did get NOT married...That guy could be Armin too cause in a draft even Armin had long hair Later when we see old Mikasa revisiting Eren's grave with her family only she has white hair and none of the other people or kids had light hair and all of them had black hair which if she got married and her husband had light hair then some of them would've light hair too but they didn't since they were adopted In the last when we see Mikasa at her deathbed it was very CLEARLY shown that Mikasa's wrist was still hidden which means she didn't pass down her crest to her descendants so that kid is adopted which proves that she didn't get married
Just because jean liked her means she’s going to automatically marry him. Man these fans are weird and dont know how an actual human actually works touch grass
Nice video. Some of these secrets are facts, but others are just fan speculation/theories. BTW, one thing you got wrong is AOT being split into 9 parts. AOT is 8 parts (S1, S2, S3P1, S3P2, S41P1, S4P2, Special1 and Special2).
When Eren representing a bird is wrapping the scarf around Mikasa, before ehe died, he looked up to the sky and looked to the birds, which means that he wants to have freedom like the birds, so it is confirmed Eren has freedom.
the flowers on mikasa definitely resemble carnations more than lilies, purple being a traditional funeral flower and white symbolizing pure love (likely unfinished/unrequited love in eren and mikasa's case), n and striped carnations (the pink one to the right) symbolize "regret that a love cannot be shared"
Out of all the things in ending people only care about mikasa love life. Last few panels were to show that she loved eren throughout her life and visited him, doesn't matter that she married or not. Her marriage thing was completely irrelevant to story 😂😂
Exactly 💯...just to confuse fans ...he should've stopped after that bird scene 😅 but did these dumb end credits and made it open and destroying two incredible charector development...but infact she didn't marry jean or anyone
Oh, assuming you saw the entire show. It’s the episode that occurred right after Pieck “Ate” Jean. The scene happened in season 4 episode 25 in the beginning. We actually see Jean in the background in the scenes you described. It’s Jean deliberating the future where he stayed alongside the Jaegerist.
Mikasa did NOT marry anyone that guy is Armin who's just accompanying Mikasa to visit Eren's grave and in the manga it was very CLEARLY shown that Mikasa's wrist was still hidden which means she didn't pass down her crest to her descendants so that kid is adopted. That's a PURITY RING cause Wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot even Carla didn't wear any ring On Eren's grave she wrote "Here forever Rest peacefully My most BELOVED My DEAR 854" and she was literally buried next to Eren's grave and in the ending song we can see that Eren and Mikasa got reunited in the afterlife so yeah Mikasa NEVER got married🙌
sorry about this, but can you further explain what you mean by the point you were making at 37? what did you mean by saying mikasa was all of eren's life? i thought they met each other when they were both 9.
8:58 i assume, since that’s the version Levi saw of them, they got back everything after they died but for their friends they will stay like the last version they could remember them.
i dont care if mikasa married or not and creators too. I mean in episodic version there is no this 8 pages at all. Everything ends wiht bird and a scarf, thats how not important this is
Why people keep saying they are white lillies , while they are neither (exclusively) white nor lillies?. They look like carnations in different hues. Is this one of those moments when some people only see 8 colors? Light pink carnations represent love and gratitude that are similar to a mother. White carnations symbolize purity and luck. The blue carnation symbolizes peace and serenity, genuine love and commitment, spirituality, originality, love, mystery, and fascination. In France, purple carnations are the traditional funeral flower. In the Netherlands, white carnations are worn to remember veterans and the country’s resistance to World War II.
@@avid4288 just because Carla didn’t wear one doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Overall, I think Mikasa did married because there’s an engagement ring 💍 in her right finger barely showing between the flowers of her funeral.. she may have died as a virgin but in Jean’s dream or vision… the child showing with Mikasa playing as it shows her scar… is wearing the same clothes when they visit Eren’s grave. Adopted by Historia’s Orphanage? Maybe so… but I think she did married Jean. Also the flowers showing in the balcony during the dream are the same ones being placed around Mikasa when she is being laid to rest. Maybe it was Jean who placed them as a final farewell to his wife. Also once married with Jean, there’s a theory that she lived with Jean over at Marley, since Jean cannot live in Paradise due to being an ambassador for peace. So he can never live freely in Paradise without the Yeagerists threats. But they most likely came to visit Eren when possible as being shown in the credits… seasons and years went by but mostly not showing Mikasa visiting only when certain occasions with the child and at old age…
You do have solid points… if Mikasa did lived in Paradise it would of shown her visiting Eren’s grave more constantly throughout the seasons and years…
Sorry this is a bit long. You have a good argument but I highly doubt Mikasa was married to Jean or even someone after Eren's death. In Jean's OVA shown when he was a kid prior to the attack on 845, he also drew a girl with long black hair which pictures similarly to Mikasa before they met. Jean's dream in the manga chapter 'Night Before the End' was him imagining a peaceful life after war with a woman with long black hair again similar to Mikasa (or some other say Pieck) and a child. Jean is fond of dreaming girls with long black hair thus his unrequited liking to Mikasa but Mikasa has little or a few to no interaction with Jean. I highly doubt Mikasa even knew Jean likes her as you know Mikasa's character. But I want Jean yo be happy, he's like the most normal of them scouts. Should she get Mikasa or Pieck (they have a good chemistry in fighting and in the boat ngl) The Peace ambassadors minus Mikasa (because she was not part of them on declaration) indeed cannot live in Paradis due to the threat of Yeagerists thus they stayed in Marley and maybe declared heroes of the world, can only visit on official affairs on Paradis as even Historia was the one ruling the Island, the Yeagerists are the Military force and they highly revere Eren the most which was declared killed by the ambassadors. Mikasa is living most likely in Paradis instead of Marley (a few people only knew Mikasa was the one who truly killed Eren but Armin declared HE was the one to let Mikasa grief for the loss of Eren knowing his true purpose of rumbling) Kiyomi Azumabito, a distant relative of Mikasa most likely stayed in Paradis too as she was seen together with Historia both in manga and anime waiting for the peace ambassadors to arrive and she said during the rumbling when she was with Annie and Falco/Gabbi that Hizuru is already most likely destroyed. Lastly, if Mikasa was indeed Married to Jean or someone unnamed like Historia's husband, it is weird that Mikasa will be buried next to Eren's grave knowing both of them lived together only from 9-19yrs old and Mikasa lived with her so called husband for the rest of her years most likely 50+yrs post rumbling. If she accepted Eren's death and moved on, she indeed cannot forget Eren but her most priority after his death would be her family and what would the husband and family feel that their mother was buried with another man that died years ago. In the manga, Mikasa was buried with a scarf and flowers, no ring in left finger, and her right wrist where her Azumabito family mark was covered in bandages which was supposed to be opened if she indeed had a family as it is a tradition to pass it to their child. I apologize for this long reply. I read the manga and watched the anime since its release in 2013 with all the OVA and also rewatched it multiple times to come up with the most logical explanation I can give.
Good points overall but if you are referring to Jean's dream, he is saying that he has earned the right to buy/live in a property in the central region, probably mentioning the region where it used to wall sina, where capital & central holds. So we can't really say they live in Marley (if they are married) if we consider that dream. I could be wrong. Also we really can't say Mikasa didn't go to Eren's grave often or went there often just because we were only seeing a few frames. It really can't show Mikasa all the time with all the seasons that could be unnatural to show l but instead we see time flies so fast within a few frames, technology advanced, cities have developed & she has family (most probably) & then she's very old in the next frame but still visits Eren's grave.
It would be illogical to think Mikasa doesn’t visit Eren’s grave at least once in the years passed in those time frame lol. Those frames were only shown to inform the audience of time passing. They’re not going to animate her going there in every frame. We already know she visits him.
You're WRONG right at the beginning that's not a wedding ring that's a PURITY RING which means to stay pure until marriage cause wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot even Carla didn't wear any ring and SECOND in the manga it was very CLEARLY shown that Mikasa's wrist was still hidden which means she didn't pass down her crest to her descendants so that kid is adopted and she was literally buried next to Eren and they got reunited in the afterlife so yeah Mikasa DIDN'T get married
It looked like jean behind the curtains while Mikasa was holding a baby, I think she was married after Erens death, but I prefer that she's not married, cuz I think you could figure it out
some people are thinking too out of the box. mikasa never got remarried, the ring on her finger is a purity ring which is what people wear to display their vow to stay pure. she is portrayed with white lilies, which has always been a symbol of purity and virginity. mikasa kept that scarf because she’ll never forget about eren, and she’ll never stray from him.
I never watched the emd credits scene, the last scene I saw was Mikasa sitting mext to Eren's grave and telling him their friends are visiting and it absolutely destroyed me. And I think Mikasa didn't remarry as shown in the symbolism of her sittimg mext to his grave, which shows that she couldn't leave him even if they were apart.
i feel like from a story standpoint it would make sense if Mikasa did stay loyal to Eren since that one of the larger story points is after all, its supposed to be their true love, let alone there are many things such as the final ending theme is literally Eren and Mikasa being together in the afterlife, it wouldn't make sense if she did marry so idk, thats just my take, if I'm honest i wish the ending could've been a happier ending but its still peak🙏🙏
2:05 what if it IS Armin next to mikasa... Because HE married her? Hear me out, Armin said to Eren at the end "well why don't i marry her?" Basically right? Armin and Mikasa seemed almost the same level of upset with Erens passing... Sometimes in grief it bonds people. Armin would probably also be the only man Mikasa would accept after Eren. Annnndddddd (this is my conspiracy) what if the boy at the very end with the dog is their legacy? (Thats why the curse begins again?).
I do think that Mikasa married. I don’t have much evidence to back this up but I think it’s Jean. The man looks a lot like Jean which you can tell with the back of his hair. And we know that Jean REALLY liked Mikasa. So if she were to marry which I think she did the most obvious person who it would be would be Jean. :3
I thought Armin ended up with Mikasa and left Annie lol they were literally blushing at one another. First Armin takes Annie from Berthold and now Mikasa from Eren lol.
I highly doubt Mikasa was married to Jean or even someone after Eren's death. In Jean's OVA shown when he was a kid prior to the attack in 845, he also drew a girl with long black hair which pictures similarly to Mikasa before they met. Jean's dream on Season 4 anime and in the manga chapter 'Night Before the End' was him imagining a peaceful life after war with a woman with long black hair again similar to Mikasa (or some other say Pieck) and a child. Jean is fond of dreaming girls with long black hair thus his unrequited liking to Mikasa but Mikasa has little or a few to no interaction with Jean. I highly doubt Mikasa even knew Jean likes her as you know Mikasa's character. The Peace ambassadors minus Mikasa (because she was not part of them on declaration) cannot live in Paradis due to the threat of Yeagerists thus they stayed in Marley and maybe declared heroes of the world, can only visit on official affairs on Paradis as even Historia was the one ruling the Island, the Yeagerists are the Military force and they highly revere Eren the most which was declared killed by the ambassadors. Only Mikasa gets to live in Paradis while the others including Levi are at Marley Lastly, if Mikasa was indeed married to Jean or someone unnamed like Historia's husband, it is weird that Mikasa will be buried next to Eren's grave knowing both of them lived together only from 9-19yrs old and Mikasa lived with her so called husband for the rest of her years most likely 50+yrs post rumbling. If she accepted Eren's death and moved on, she indeed cannot forget Eren but her most priority after his death would be her family and what would the husband and family feel that their mother was buried with another man that died years ago. You cannot just say to your husband and family that when you die you will be buried to your ex-lover 50yrs ago or so In the manga, Mikasa was buried with a scarf and flowers, no ring in left finger, and her right wrist where her Azumabito family mark was covered in bandages which was supposed to be opened if she indeed had a family as it is a tradition to pass it to their child. TLDR. unless the author says so, all of us have free interpretation of this. I only pointed out what I read in the manga and what I watched in the anime and OVA
That guy is clearly had blonde hair same as Armin so I think it's Armin who's just accompanying Mikasa and Mikasa isn't a trophy that just he liked her she would like her back & throughout the series she barely interacted with him and that ring is a purity ring cause wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot and as we can see Eren was one and only love of her life and she was literally buried next to Eren and they got reunited in the afterlife so yeah Mikasa DIDN'T get married
I hope they don’t make a sequel. Obviously I would love to see more from this franchise but I’ve been burnt way too many times from unnecessary sequels that are really bad or ruin lore etc etc. some peoples magnum opus are best left alone.
Don’t worry the author is more burnt out than us. If I recall correctly I’m pretty sure he said he wasn’t even sure if he wanted to start a new series cuz he’s so over it.

It's depicted in the ending montage, several times, that Mikasa got married to Jean. She had a daughter that she brought to visit Eren's gravestone, alongside Jean and herself. This happens on a few frames, before Mikasa's corpse is shown, pretty much marking the point in time where everybody has died and Mikasa was one of the last to go.

I don't think anyone needs to remain a virgin for the rest of their life because their lover died young ..... Her love was pure , she might be unmarried, but mixing it up with virginity is a stretch.
This is such cope, I don't understand why people can't just accept that mikasa didn't marry anyone. She's buried next to eren. You would think that if she married someone for 50 years after that she would be buried next to them right instead of an ex lover from 50 years ago

"for the final scene, when Ymir found the tree that she fell in, she was being hunted, chased by dogs and in need of an undying body and a world free from death, which she created when she touched the "origin of all life". However, with the final scene, we see an innocent child, accompanied by a companion in the form of a dog, approaching the hole in the tree where Eren's head was buried.
How sad, Jean's VA confirmed that he ended up with Mikasa.
Also in that picture too Annie Bertholdt and Reiner are together, as the marlyian spy squad .
Just my two cents, Eren did ask her to get rid of the scarf after his demise (which she didn’t), and since she was buried with the same scarf (and next to Eren’s grave no less), chances are her heart remained with him, even if she did remarry 😢. As for the ring, it could be a purity ring?
No she married Jean

@@iboi4641it was confirmed that Jean married a horse
Yeah that's most likely a Purity ring cause wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot even Carla didn't wear any ring
They are not lilies. They are carnations. Someone made a mistake and people keep repeating it.
@@elizawingfield yes in anime there is no lilies
I will prove that Mikasa was not married
And after reading this you never want to search this again
1. If your argument is it was wedding rings
There is no wedding rings in aot eran mother, zeke mother, historia doesn't had any ring on her hand you can search thier images in Googles and she there is no any wedding ring exists in aot
And mikasa was buried with white and blue Lilly which indicates purity and virginity and if she is wearing any wedding ring (i already mentioned there is no wedding rings but for example if she) so she was not a virgin so what the white Lilly was doing there
It clearly means it was a purity ring
2 . The person with Mikasa
In the manga's last chapter, Mikasa was standing with armin and their armin had big hair just like jean and he was only comforting mikasa there
He was erans and Mikasa's best friend he always comes to visit eran's grave even after Mikasa's death
If mikasa is married to someone why her husband burey her wife with her ex and why only Armin is visiting their grave not her husband
Because it was armin
As it mentioned in anime that the Eran reach first then Mikasa then armin when they run towards the tree
And their dying order was the same
3 . About that child
He was not Mikasa's child because in manga when she was old till that time she covered her hand and never passed that mark to her child ,why , because he was not her child
Maybe The child was from an orphanage where Mikasa was living with the child's to escape from sadness
She already worked there with historia and she was also an orphan when her parents die
So there are many chances that she was living with kids with peace.
4. Height difference
Mikasa holding a kid that why she was in sitting position but the person was standing on his knees that why if Mikasa stand there is a very little height difference and also a male grow till his 25
And some extra proofs
1. 4 flowers she puts on the eran grave means my love for you was the same and no one can come between us
1 rose means you are the only one whom i love
2. Mikasa writes on eran's grave ,rest in peace my beloved one.
3. She is buried next to eran, only couples graves are together
4. And the music itterasahai meaning and the video which only was released in japna but now its available in yt also she was reunited with eran after her death.

And in Anime isayama made changes into this just add a not clearly visible ring instead of those bandages, in order to maintain the hype, it is purity ring, which also can wear in the left hand ring finger, and about the KID, mikasa worked in historia's orphanage, she adopted the kid, And the story starts with Eren, Mikasa and Armin, also end with showing those three, eren's first miksasa second and armin's chasing them, there is no other characters.
yooo, kinda liked the theory you dropped here
I really want to believe everything you've said. I hope one day Isayama will confirm all this
I wanna believe this because it's so nice *BUT* if you look at her death with the flowers, you can see her wearing an engagement ring, making it most likely that the family visiting Eren's grave was made by her and she's presenting what's come of her life to him.
@@abekvt As I know, there is no engagement ring in AoT. I mean, Eren's mom and Historia didn't have them. So maybe it was a chastity ring
The white Lilly you mentioned are Habenaria radiata according to Wikipedia which infact means Purity and delicateness, what's more interesting is the following quote:

She dident marry. Thats it.
@@milchbrotchen2930 I agree. Her last words before thanking Eren for wrapping the scarf around her was “I wanted to see you again”
Mikasa in the timeskip got her own family by adopting from Historia’s orphanage and this is most logical.
I was gonna say the same thing. I'm surprised people can't pick up on this fairly easy to get string of logic
9:07 now in the afterlife they probably got their limbs back as the scene levi saw was a hallucination rather than the scouts coming back to meet levi so levi imagined them with how they looked in the final moments he saw them
this shows that marco is a full body as he died getting bitten in half
True, though it doesn't look good for Levi when he dies, nor Eren (in hell?) either. Since the head injuries of Eren discussed in the video is up in the air (there's the possibility of when Gabi did), and Levi's injuries also happened long before his eventual death.
thanks bro im really happy can hear that mikasa didnt married anyone

11:09 Where is this scene? I just finished the anime and I don't have it.
That's a song named itteressai by ai higuichi
My own version is that Eren and Mikasa managed to live a peaceful life like what Captain America did to Peggy
Oh wow I didn't realize it could be Armin with her! 😲 I originally was convinced it was Jean that she married and had a family with (and he was understanding of her love for Eren).
I think he meant they were visiting the grave together with Armins kid, not that she got with Armin. In all likelihood Armin got with Annie
@yukeenakamura1398 I know that, I meant that all this time I thought it was Jean with her and their baby rather than Armin and possibly his child.
I still think it's her baby regardless because it has black hair like hers.
It's Jean, confirmed by his VA.
@Y_FLY share link of that source pls
You also forgot to mention that as mikasa was last seen walking off his erens head, he sheds a tear. There are some theories that suggest that eren knew that he would have to take Ymir’s place and never see mikasa again but he couldn’t tell anyone that because they would never let him go.
Up until this video (apart from cope material that said otherwise) I felt that it was pretty clear she got married, but I think you offer a valid argument. I never thought about how the man and lady with the baby could be Mikasa with Armin and his baby. I still feel like it’s leaning towards implying she got married but it feels less for sure now.
One of the coolest parts about the curse of Ymir fact was that it was also on fact 13 in the video. Nice attention to detail.
6:22 in the manga it was even more clear that she did get NOT married...That guy could be Armin too cause in a draft even Armin had long hair
Later when we see old Mikasa revisiting Eren's grave with her family only she has white hair and none of the other people or kids had light hair and all of them had black hair which if she got married and her husband had light hair then some of them would've light hair too but they didn't since they were adopted
In the last when we see Mikasa at her deathbed it was very CLEARLY shown that Mikasa's wrist was still hidden which means she didn't pass down her crest to her descendants so that kid is adopted which proves that she didn't get married
The last part of the video made me realize Attack on Titan is Mikasa's story from Eren's point of view told by Armin
Just because jean liked her means she’s going to automatically marry him. Man these fans are weird and dont know how an actual human actually works touch grass
6:57 HE'S A FIGET SPINNAAAAAAAA
Nice video. Some of these secrets are facts, but others are just fan speculation/theories. BTW, one thing you got wrong is AOT being split into 9 parts. AOT is 8 parts (S1, S2, S3P1, S3P2, S41P1, S4P2, Special1 and Special2).
For the 9 parts, what I meant was that AOT was split into 9 Arcs rather than 9 broadcasting seasons
When Eren representing a bird is wrapping the scarf around Mikasa, before ehe died, he looked up to the sky and looked to the birds, which means that he wants to have freedom like the birds, so it is confirmed Eren has freedom.
Those flowers honestly don’t even look like lilies, they look more like carnations, Camellias or roses.
That ring is also a Purity ring cause wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot even Carla didn't wear any ring
That’s pure cope
the flowers on mikasa definitely resemble carnations more than lilies, purple being a traditional funeral flower and white symbolizing pure love (likely unfinished/unrequited love in eren and mikasa's case), n and striped carnations (the pink one to the right) symbolize "regret that a love cannot be shared"
I think Mikasa did not get married because the hair looks yellow like armin
I will just assumed mikasa did not get married for my mental health
Out of all the things in ending people only care about mikasa love life.
Last few panels were to show that she loved eren throughout her life and visited him, doesn't matter that she married or not.
Her marriage thing was completely irrelevant to story 😂😂
Exactly 💯...just to confuse fans ...he should've stopped after that bird scene 😅 but did these dumb end credits and made it open and destroying two incredible charector development...but infact she didn't marry jean or anyone
5:33 this is mind blowing
Liked the video cuz it doesn't enforce the Idea of Mikasa that she has to marry someone to move on.
1:58 PLEASE WHAT EPISODE IS THIS CUTSCENE FROM?
Keep it up dude ❤
sorry about this, but can you further explain what you mean by the point you were making at 37? what did you mean by saying mikasa was all of eren's life? i thought they met each other when they were both 9.
8:58 i assume, since that’s the version Levi saw of them, they got back everything after they died but for their friends they will stay like the last version they could remember them.
i dont care if mikasa married or not and creators too. I mean in episodic version there is no this 8 pages at all. Everything ends wiht bird and a scarf, thats how not important this is
I can imagine eren's head just rolling around in the afterlife lmao
That ring is also a Purity ring cause wedding ring doesn't exist in Aot even Carla didn't wear any ring
@@avid4288 just because Carla didn’t wear one doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It is normal for people doing handwork not to wear them or just in special occasions (I’m taking real life here, not extrapolating) The whole thing about the purity ring is not impossible but it is not confirmed by anything in the world of attack on titan in any way to discredit any other theory.
Should she get Mikasa or Pieck (they have a good chemistry in fighting and in the boat ngl)
The Peace ambassadors minus Mikasa (because she was not part of them on declaration) indeed cannot live in Paradis due to the threat of Yeagerists thus they stayed in Marley and maybe declared heroes of the world, can only visit on official affairs on Paradis as even Historia was the one ruling the Island, the Yeagerists are the Military force and they highly revere Eren the most which was declared killed by the ambassadors.
Mikasa is living most likely in Paradis instead of Marley (a few people only knew Mikasa was the one who truly killed Eren but Armin declared HE was the one to let Mikasa grief for the loss of Eren knowing his true purpose of rumbling)
Kiyomi Azumabito, a distant relative of Mikasa most likely stayed in Paradis too as she was seen together with Historia both in manga and anime waiting for the peace ambassadors to arrive and she said during the rumbling when she was with Annie and Falco/Gabbi that Hizuru is already most likely destroyed.

6:52 what is the song name??? Plz tell if anyone know
So aot is all about mikasa
The flowers on Mikasa's body aren't lilies, they're carnations.
1:28. I heard a theory that the child Mikasa had was her and Eren's child
I don't think people can conceive in the paths .
wym if it wasn’t jean im sure he wouldn’t draw him to resemble him in his marley outfit
I thought Armin ended up with Mikasa and left Annie lol they were literally blushing at one another. First Armin takes Annie from Berthold and now Mikasa from Eren lol.

TLDR. unless the author says so, all of us have free interpretation of this. I only pointed out what I read in the manga and what I watched in the anime and OVA
That's a horrible way for her to treat her husband

Lilys Purity has nothing to do with virginity, but love, her love was pure. And im sure she got married with Jean bcs he is the only candidate who can understand her feelings, and all the traumas they lived together, that search for emotional support its pretty realistic more than staying single the rest of her life, and that baby its hers, dont tell me she go fo walks with someone else's baby, sounds creepy lol the scarf shows off she partially moved on with her life but never forgeting the past, you can see there is a moment she stops visiting the tumb until shes very old before the image of her funeral.
