  • Today we replace front pads and rotors on a 1995 prevost XL. This style of brakes still use a skack adjuster, unlike the more modern style where the chamber acts directly on the calipers.

I haven't seen that style of disc brake for around 10yrs. Now the Bendix 225 style you described at the beginning all the time. Between the two. The Bendix 225 style so much easier for a pad swap.

Man alive!! That’s a HD rotor. I’d hate to buy a complete set.

what is the tolerance on those pads? the ones you took off looked pretty good to me, but then again, I have no reference to what they are supposed to look like.

Do some of these buses have discs all around and do they have ABS?

Not too bad are the brakes more effective than air drum brakes?

Slack adjuster on a disc brake? Fortunately that design went away. Even so, far superior to those antique drums which should be completely phased out in my opinion

Couldn't a ratchet ring spanner fit? Would be faster than a open spanner.

I don't remember why I didn't use them (this video was shot in January I think) but I believe the head hit the hub
