Sodium hypochlorite is a chemical commonly found in bleach, water purifiers, and cleaning products. Sodium hypochlorite is a caustic chemical. If it contacts tissues, it can cause injury.
Swallowing sodium hypochlorite can lead to poisoning. Breathing sodium hypochlorite fumes may also cause poisoning, especially if the product is mixed with ammonia. Also, We try to avoid being consumers of harsh chemicals such as bleach, draino, round up etc. All this stuff ends up in our water and 🌎

@@pappysproductions Thanks for answering my question. I understand what you’re saying now. I’ve grown up in the pool since I was 4 either teaching lessons, or rec swimming. The ever familiar smell of bleach has greeted me for 44 years as I swam and I know I’ve accidentally gulped more water than I could estimate. I’m not saying that had been healthy. I just think that throughly disinfecting my water storage containers with a low amount of bleach, isn’t going to cause harm as much as all of the swimming I’ve done in my lifetime. No one should drink it though I feel (not purposely anyway), as far as water storage. Could you please give me another option than using the bleach for long term storage? That’s all I know. Thank you so much for your dedication to teaching people about water storage container cleaning in general. (I would love to rig up the bungee cord system!) Thanks again for replying to my question.

@@pappysproductions you’re going to have to throw them away at some point anyway friend. Don’t know what world you live in but it was bad for the environment as soon as they were created.
Also, you can obviously recycle both the plastic and glass ones. But the recycling process is fairly inefficient for almost everything in modern society. Its always a net loss for the environment. You probably wasted at least a few gallons of water cleaning everything out just in this video, but we won’t talk about that, will we?
No, we won’t. So maybe cool it on hitting people over the head with the whole environmental pitch. You’re just as guilty as everyone else, and nothing you’ve done in this video helps address that in any meaningful way whatsoever.
