On my New Year's journey to Tohoku, I had the opportunity to visit Yamagata and made a stop in Tendo. The decision to stay in Tendo was primarily due to the availability of affordable accommodation in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Tendo is actually renowned for its shogi game pieces production, which was evident from the numerous shogi marks and figures scattered throughout the city.
As I explored the city, I found myself walking around and taking in the sights and sounds of Tendo. One of the highlights of my visit was the Tendo Park, which provided a perfect vantage point for aerial views of the city. I used my drone to capture some stunning footage and gain a unique perspective of Tendo from above. Overall, my time in Tendo was memorable and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tohoku region.

This channel should be called ' Keeping It Real'. He shows - always shows - the Japan that real people actually live in. So not every window looks out onto a view of Mount Fuji. And there isn't a Temple at the end of every street and lane. Sunshine doesn't always dress your skin. Love the sound of meltwater and crunchy snow, although the bird scarer recording (crow distress call, used to disperse roost/ colony) was a little chilling 😱 maybe I was a crow in a past life or something lol. Great walk Ram, thank you 👍

A really pleasant walk, and I had prepared some tea in anticipation😊🍵. As always the aerial view with the drone is always incredible, seeing the snowy city is a beautiful sight. Thank you for the walk Mr Ramb😊😸👍

I rather got worried at the 55th minute as well, the monsters are resting under the tree also. I suppose that at 58 can bring back some sorts of memories of Canary Wharf if you're a Londoner..

It's funny 😁 that Japanese wealthy buy European cars 🚗 for status. When Japan builds so many durable quality, reliable and cheaper to own / and maintain cars. It is a complicated world 🌎
