    The way you explained the L side being free to rotate forward, thus equaling the leg length, makes sense. If someone’s problem was a posterior innominate, and that leg was shorter in supine, would the legs equal with sitting? If so, how does that happen?

      Schamberger says the test is mainly for an Anterior innominate rotation - however, if the right is anterior the left side will be in a posterior rotation but through compensation - regards JG

      @@JohnGibbons I see. I guess I was under the interpretation it was for both types of rotations. I’ve been meaning to read Schamberger’s book. Thanks for taking the time to reply

    would this apply with an upslip as well? How would you differentiate between an upslip vs posterior rotation if the leg is shorter

      An up slip will not change from supine to sitting

    what about when the right ilium is anterior rotated and the leg is shorter? I sometimes encounter this? I bought all your books.
