    John Gibbons is a registered Osteopath, Lecturer and Author and is discussing how to correct an Uplip of the Sacroiliac joint.
    Some of these techniques can be taught but only to skilled therapists and you can learn them during the Spinal Manipulation and Mobilisation masterclass.
    Bodymaster Method ® Courses are now ONLINE!
    I’ve been calling these courses a culmination of my life’s work, and they really are and I’ve poured all my expertise into each of them - everything I’ve learnt as an osteopath, as a writer, and as a lecturer - to ensure that the quality of learning is no less than what you’ve come to expect from The Bodymaster.
    And with my hand on my heart, I have to say that I truly believe the format and content are exceptional.
    Many of my clinic-based Courses are now available to take ONLINE, and I’m working hard on the others.
    All courses are fully accredited through the Sports Therapy organisation (STO) and count towards your Bodymaster Method ® Diploma. Each includes a full-colour PDF copy of my published book relating to the course, which I personally take you through chapter-by-chapter with accompanying HD video lectures and demonstrations.

    John you are too good. Plz ad disclaimer. However, in India barbars, physiotherapists, massage therapists, hijama therapists, acupressurist are using your videos and opening clinics everywhere as fake Chiropractic doctors without anatomy, biomechanics, osteopathy or chiropractic qualifications. Its very dangerous trend and 3 are already dead in Delhi, Bihar, WB and many are paralyzed and are in coma. It has happened even by physiotherapists who are not qualified to do spine manipulations. Now health ministry is bringing law to jail those who are practicing without chiro or osteopathy degrees.

    Interesting point of view. I usually do the sale prone technique but I am asking the patient to put the palms on the corners of the table, like hanging. And it’s a second lock, no table slipping.
    I will try the supine technique and come with the feedback.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
    I like your content.

    I’ve never used the prone technique but have great success and easy with supine. I personally like to have both legs off the table and straight in supine. Unaffected foot I place at my anterolatetal hip for counterforce and then slight ABD/full IR affected hip and thrust.
    Thanks for your videos. You are one of the best in the world I full believe. #Bigfan🙌🏻🤩

    Great technique, thanks John. Are you suggesting that the 'upslip' has occurred in the SI joint? How is that possible? What distance of 'slippage' are we talking about?

    • @JohnGibbons
      @JohnGibbons  7 месяцев назад +2

      Glad you liked the video - It is the ilium moved slightly superior (you cannot measure this distance) in relation to the sacrum so it is called an Iliosacral upslip or Greenman calls it a Hip bone shear - technique has worked very well for my patients over the 20 years I have been using it - regards JG

    John , that looks really helpful. I've a left hip anterior innominate rotation . Physio diagnosed in March 21, however in continuous pain sacroiliac joint, plus both Ischial Tuberosity, more so on left. Dull throbbing pain back of left leg, hamstrings , getting progressively worse. Plus extremely tight quads on left leg. Seen consultant March 22, who has indicated hip bursitis / Gluteal tendinopathy,. 3 steroid injections later, pain slightly reduced in left hip, all other symptoms increased. . Also experiencing pain in right hip and on outside of leg, tfl /itb ? Could this manipulation help? I've been very active and healthy up to this point, used to swim 3 miles a week, hike 10- 15 miles most weekends. Now limited to Pilates which can aggravate symptoms.

    • @JohnGibbons
      @JohnGibbons  Год назад +2

      I would get the physio to assess both hip joints as your symptoms might be coming from the actual hip rather than the soft tissues around it like the bursa or tendons - regards JG

    Hi what is the difference between anterior innominate rotation and upslip. Because there change in leg both ways. How do we know if ts upslip or anterior rotation . pls reply

    • @JohnGibbons
      @JohnGibbons  Год назад +1

      Upslip will make leg appear shorter plus all landmarks are higher - if anterior then leg longer and ASIS inferior and PSIS superior - regards JG
