If you are wondering if your pain is coming from your SI joint, here are 3 tests that may help. ruclips.net/video/RRpLyC2xxO8/видео.html
Bob and Brad o been watching you alot im 32 got mid back and lower back bad is is reverse able or I should shoot my self 🤔
Tall Bob may be interested to investigate the drug Etanercept! It is injected into the spine (perispinal etanercept) and the patient is tipped backwards to encourage the drug to enter the brain. It is being used for stroke patients and there are trials of the drug for the purpose of helping stroke patients and there has been some miraculous results. The drug is also a possible treatment in people with Long Covid. I wonder if it would Bobs ataxia. ruclips.net/video/-nEtQ-Wxkas/видео.html
I shattered my pelvis 18 years ago and needed the SI joint to be fixed by a screw. I still have pain and reduced movement from it. Would this help please?
My prayers and support are with y’all! Thank you for helping so many of us! I wouldn’t be walking without your videos
Hey I don't see any replies to anyone's questions, but I'll ask anyway. I am 43 and was hit by a car as a little kid which I believe that it did irreparable damage. I live with constant back pain and my lower back/pelvis feel locked up. I am starting to see limited mobility and struggle even putting on socks. Any advice on what I can do to help?
Just adding to the chorus of people who are still so glad that Bob is still making these videos.
I'm so glad you two are still filming! Showing that aphasia doesn't mean you withdraw from society is a powerful message and Bob, you will literally change some people's lives or maybe even save them. I'm not exaggerating. Your mind is full of knowledge to share and we're here for it!
I agree. It's sad they have to put that message at the beginning. I had a brain tumor removed and had aphasia. They basically removed me from a lot of my duties (I was in training for the management position) even though my brain was working just fine. I just couldn't get words out unless I wrote them and it was temporary as I healed. I would get in trouble for emailing and cc'ing people instead of talking directly to them. Unfortunately I live in an at will state so it's not illegal.
It said Ataxia what did I miss
@@scottyboy6269 my bad.
We all are greater together, Bob, just as Tracy wrote.
@@scottyboy6269 ataxia is the description of the symptoms, it just means impaired coordination. Aphasia is the inability to form words (or understand in some cases). Neither are the issue. They either don’t know or don’t want to share the cause. They are open about the symptoms.
I love you guys. Bob don’t give up on us, we need both of you. Your channel is a treasure.
Praying for Bob.
Was it a stroke?
@@scottrose8417 They made a video about it about a month ago: ruclips.net/video/8zFEppGYEKA/видео.html
In a room full of physical therapists I mentioned Bob n Brad the room broke out singing your signature song 🎶🎤 Two most famous PT .. it was wonderful!
Thank you for sharing.
Hi i'm a one time athlete and now blue collar physical worker.
Complexities have stripped me a chance at Healthcare.
There are many like me.
What you are doing is a blessing beyond words.
You and other channels like yours have brought me to tears through relieving stretches that I could not afford to get directed at me traditionally.
Thank you again, though there is no way you can ever truly understand how much suffering in even just my little life you have alleviated.
Health is wealth.
All Gods Blessings to you and yours.
Bob, I hope you know how much ppl appreciate you being in the videos. I mean..I know you know why it's important, because you are a PT and you're here .. but thank you so much for being on video AND as fun as usual! Hugs and feather-like pushes!
Regardless of your speech difficulties, you still have lots of important things to say! And we are listening.
Thank you for your support. The Bob and Brad Team
Bob you are awesome (love you too Brad ☺️☺️☺️). I'm praying for you my friend. Been watching y'all so long that y'all literally feel like family.
"We're just men."
That's okay,
we love you both anyway.
When I see a new video
it makes my day.
With each new instruction
I'm able to function better and say,
Bob and Brad took my pain away!
Spot the feminist
👏🏼
It's so good to see and hear Bob on videos! Your presence, grace, and strength is as much needed (if not more) as the physical therapy tools you give us to cope with our pain and ailments. Healing is hard. Thank you for walking your journey with us. Our love and prayers continue with you every day!!!

In watching this video, I was wondering why is Bob slurring his words...what happened to Bob?
@giseliapereira5914 Bob was diagnosed with aphasia, a medical condition in which speech is affected but thinking is not.
You guys have no idea how valuable you are to so many communities and people who don’t have the resources or info to get help or help themselves.
Battling this hell now, along with lumbar radiculophopy and hip pain. Love you guys! Bob we don't care what you sound like, we love and miss you when you don't show up! Wishing you both, strong like bull, good health.💞💞
My pain management Dr, just did a Right SI Joint fusion back in March. It's amazing, I've heard it works for some and not for others but it definitely worked for me. Only a couple of stitches and I was up and around the second day but all the pain took about 1 to 2 weeks.
@@jumpercable20 I think my Pain Management Doc will try the SI joint injection after this lumbar epidural shot I am doing next week! Did you have hip and leg pain before your fusion??? I don't have back pain! More in my butt, groin, and leg.😭
Gluten and sugar will make hip pain worse. It worked well for me.
@@denisemariner1235 I had a shooting pain in my hip that was so bad that when I walked my dog, I had to sit down on the curb two houses from mine. My pain management Dr. confirmed my SI joint just by sticking his fingers in specific areas around the back of my hip.
@@jumpercable20 the pain shoots into my hip so badly, it feels as if I am being zapped with lightening!! But it radiates so we are starting with lumbar shots moving into the SI joint shots. When I walk it s as if my leg can't catch up!! Hope you heal and stay well!💞
I have ataxia and have since I was 16, so I’m so happy you’re pushing through and not letting it control you! Fighting!
Just my thought on what has continued to help me . No wallet in back pocket, place a pillow between legs if you side sleep
Be strong when you can, be yourself all the time
@@twilightgardenspresentatio6384 that is a wonderful outlook, thank you!
@@texasslingleadsomtingwong8751 thank you!
I developed it at 17 and luckily was able to reverse it through physical therapy since the cause was functional neurological disorder. It's so hard to live with, especially at a young age. Sending love ❤️
I spent 8 weeks going to physical therapy, and I kept telling them I think it’s my SI joint because I wasn’t getting relief. These exercises I did at home solved my pain! Thank you so much, Bob and Brad!
Doctors don’t listen to their patients anymore.
Ofc.They want you to keep going so that they will be taking your money
was it gone for good or it came back?
I am going through this right now. All the exercises she gave me just made it worse. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and so far I am beyond shocked. I have been in absolute pain since Aug. and just doing a couple of the suggested stretches in the last few days has given more relief then I could ever imagine. Still have a ways to go but I finally feel I am going in the right direction
Bob, I'm really glad that you're contributing to the content. Ataxia runs in my family, my dad and uncle have it who rarely leave their houses. Its just really great to see someone who has this awful disease still help change people's lives. You are an inspiration to me because I was diagnosed with it and I'm 32 years old. So when eventually I show symptoms, I can still positively affect people lives like you are doing.
Ataxia is not a disease, it's a symptom.
@@penultimania4295sure feels like a disease to those of us who have it.
Bob, I have been praying for you. Thank you for continuing these videos for us. Be blessed and healed in Jesus’ name!
Bob I hope you see this. I have spastic CP (wheelchair, AFOs, loftstrands, the whole bit). Your videos have helped me so much, because not a day goes by where I'm not trying to stretch, strengthen, get something to release, etc. It never ends. One thing I know after my 40+ years on this planet as a disabled person is that all branches of medicine are pretty darn ableist, and medicine-- especially the rehab disciplines benefit so much from the presence of disabled providers. The best SLP and the best OT I know both have CP as well. They understand disability and rehab with an entirely different depth. We need you and your expertise here. I think your dx is new. It's a gutpunch-- I'm no Pollyanna. But I hope you keep doing videos and sharing your wisdom and expertise with us and with your patients. We need you in the rehab space so badly.
Hey I really hope the best for you. I wish you nothing but good health and good life
Been dealing with this pain from a car accident for 26 years! Thank you!
Sorry to hear about Bob’s condition hope the meds and therapy help prayers for him and the team your all’s videos on sciatica and si have helped me to be able to continue to work full days and I look forward to seeing many more
I’m a retired Paratrooper and have had this pain for over 20years. Thank you, thank you, thank you. People giving me exams have looked at me like I was crazy when I described the pain. This is the second Paratrooper common pain that you have reversed for me!
Praying for Brad. God bless him. Him and Bob have helped me so much over the years.
💔"we're just men" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 literally laughed out loud! Love you guys so much. You have helped so many people and I am very thankful to be one of them.
I suffer from SI joint pain occasionally. And finally there are some exercises to try. No PT has shared these with me. Thank You so much!!! I love & appreciate you guys!!! I tell all my friends about you!!! Thank You!!! 🙏😇❤️
The manspread feels amazing don’t it!!!
After 6 weeks of what I thought was a piriformis issue with pain in the buttock and down the leg, I tried the first exercise, felt a click and the next day woke up with no pain.
Truly wonderful. Thank you for your work!
Brad is a true friend and great example of a great business partner. Bob surpasses the word “survivor”. Keep up the great demonstrations, B and B!
Awesome!!!! Thank you guys! I hope Bob is doing well. We have been praying for him.
“We’re just men”! 😂 love you Bob and Brad!!
Just found your video and tried the exercises. First time in 2.5 years that I’m pain free! Finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you so much and God bless!
You guys are so helpful! I’m over 55 and when something gets “wonky”, I check in with you guys.
Bob, I am proud of you for continuing to share your expertise with us!
I can’t fix a broken heart either, but I can send you each a heart here! ❤️ & ❤️
So do I and I’m encouraging my wife to scroll through their channel whenever something aches
Ha. Apparently, i i found the right place.
I share the wonkyitis. I was crawling around in pain last Feb/Mar, found these guys and am so glad ! Always helpful.
Sending healing and loving thoughts to all.
I appreciate Bob still working on these videos both because he’s cool (knowledgeable and caring) and because he’s normalizing differently abled people. Thank you both for helping me to access helpful information I can’t otherwise access. Bless you both.
I love you guys. I'm so glad you're still filming.
Oh wow prayers for Bob!
Wishing the best for Bob
Bob, thank you so much for sharing your story with us all. Because you were so open with your personal struggles, I knew immediately that it was the gluten I had consumed that was causing me to wake up dizzy and having to hold furniture and doorways for support to keep balanced. I have long known that gluten was giving me many issues but this was new. That last time I ever poisoned myself with gluten was the last day of May, 2022, right after you shared what what was going on with you. My ataxia went away and I'm okay today with balance and walking at 50 yrs old thanks to you. It breaks my heart that you are having to deal with this damage but I praise the Lord Jesus for you and sharing your story. Please keep talking and sharing. Love you in Christ. God bless you.
My Bob and Brad massage gun works really well. I have SI joint paint from a car accident a few years ago, and this really gives me relief. More than exercises.
My broomstick likes being helpful in stretches too not just sweeping :) thx B&B
I know this is an old video so you may not see this. But finding your channel was the greatest find. I’m a bodybuilder and do a lot of heavy lifting. In the past few years I’ve started to have a few different issues creep up and every time it’s your videos that fix my problem. You guys are amazing. Keep it up
My dad has ataxia and now I’ve been seeing little hints of it in myself here and there. I’m happy to see you still doing videos, it’s inspiring. A lot of people become withdrawn hermits but I think we ALL need to live our best lives and keep going on adventures and getting out there no matter what! Stay strong!
38 weeks pregnant currently & my chiropractor has been working on my SI joint. So grateful because it’s been soo painful with this pregnancy! Going to try these suggestions!
Yes! A really good chiropractor can make a huge difference during pregnancy! 👍🏼
How are you now? Baby okay?
@@gdstef1 yes we’re doing great! It did take like 2 weeks for my SI pain to go away but it doesn’t bother me at all anymore.
I was recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. My Rheumatologist questioned as to whether or not I suffered from hip or SI pain. I was thrilled! Absolutely, I replied, I have episodes of not being able to extend to an upright position when exiting my vehicle. It's as though my Pelvis and lower back are "locked" I call it a "catch". Once I rotate my hip a few times I hear a loud "click" & I'm able to move freely. In a standing position, if I march in place, the click can be heard each time my left knee is raised. Yall's videos are giving me the confidence to explore different methods of relieving the pain and hopefully end this horrible clicking. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Bob for not stopping teaching us. I bow ten time to you.
Your videos helped me with a bad case of Costochondritis. It was extremely painful and I had a real hard time sleeping.
It's been a couple of years now with now issues. I continue to work on my posture but the movements I learned from you guys really helped relieve the pain in the beginning. Thank you for all your videos!
Bob, I'm sorry you struggle with ataxia! I'm glad you've come up with ways to still be here to help us. Your big heart and compassion are an inspiration :D
Long time watcher here. So sorry to hear about Bob. Breaks my heart. Thoughts and prayers. You guys have fixed many issues I've had. So grateful for you guys.
You guys crack me up with every video.🤣 You two are my favorite goofy, middle aged guys... kinda like uncles to someone in the younger crowd like myself lol. I'm so happy Brad is back! Prayers for recovery! I was so sad when Brad wasn't here lol.
"Someone needs to help us with this... we're just men."😆😆😆
Love Bob and Brad, keep going. Love the expertise and content. Don’t stop Bob,…You are helping millions of us.
All the best wishes for you Bob. You two have helped me to fight through the hardest and most painful time of my life, and I wish you the same grit and strength you gave me - the fight is worth it! Good to see you back!
I like how you guys can show that we all have to go through this and that this is about relief and not immunity
Hi Bob. I just want to let you know that I have been praying for you since I found out about your illness. So thankful for your videos. Thank you so much. God bless you.
Bob and Brad, Thank you for continuing to do videos. They have been very informative and helpful. Bob you continue to be a good example to us all. We all face challenges but you are showing us not to just give up but carry on. Prayers for continued improvement

We love you Bob, so glad you’re still doing the videos! It makes us so happy to see you 😊
Yes Brad… sending lots of love to you too! There’s no Bob and Brad without you two! Nobody could replace you guys and your amazing bond 😊
Oh no bob. You guys are my favorite. Such sweet guys. Y’all have helped me immensely with my cubical tunnel and sciatica… I don’t trust anyone else!!
I wish you well and Keep livin your life!! It seems like you are- Glad to still see you here !!
Love you fellas, hope you're doing well Bob
I don't know too much about the condition but I'm glad you're still here for/with us all
Thank you both so much for these videos. They have helped me with my chronic back pain tremendously. And Bob thank you for continuing your work here. Your courage and dedication is quite inspiring.
Thank you Bob and Brad for posting this. I did all the exercises. Hang in there Bob. I have sensory ataxia which affects my balance. Glad you have Brad as your partner to get the best therapy possible!
He talks just fine. People are just mean. Hopefully this helps me. I've been dealing with this, completely undiagnosed (professionally) and untreated for almost a decade. It's absolutely horrible. So glad I've finally found someone talking about my specific problem. Many thanks.
Bob and Brad thanks. Been watching for a while and you have made my 40s less painful.
Yes we are glad to see you front and center where we need you. Many (such as myself) would have slid into the background le I have with other things that took place with me but I learned how to press through. Thank you for staying present we love you much! I've been watching you guys for years
Both:Thank you for helping my body in so many ways. I really appreciate how you share your knowledge, skills, and fun personalities. What a gift you are giving us! Bob: Sending you prayers and love. Keep contributing and stay vital. You matter! Brad: Great job showing compassion, care, and friendship. You are showing all of us how to live what matters most in this life,.
The "leg off the bed" stretch just changed my life! Instant painless walking in SI and I
had intense foot relief. Bonus!
Thank you!
Wow, I've been in pain for weeks thinking it was my sciatica, using the muscle energy move with my hands and holding it for 30 seconds three times. A huge boom came out of my hip and holy relief. You guys are absolutely awesome!!!
Praying for Bob and family as well. Thank you for continuing the videos. God bless yall. ❤
I've had issues with standing in place for years and never knew about the SI joint. That simple stretch feels amazing! Thank you!
Bob you are an inspiration for all of us with disabilities. Please keep making videos it gives us all hope that we can still well even when I’ll. Thank you to you both!
Thank you so so so much for this video. I watched it just before I went to sleep last night and thought I would try the first movement more to humour you than anything else as I have suffered with SI joint pain for many years. I have even been to a rehab facility for 2wks to try and sort it.
Last night I slept for the first time in years without being woken up with searing pain in my hip and lower back, and I have woken up this morning pain free!!
I cannot thank you enough. Please please, keep doing what you are doing!! And thank you again. I am so grateful. ❤
I’ve been watching your videos for about 5 years when I suffered 11 vertebral compression fractures with no known cause. I’d been fighting cancer for about the same amount of time so that caused a lot of pain. Wasn’t till I started watching your videos and trying some of the great tips you both share that I started getting relief. I’m very sorry about your Ataxia Bob and I hope you can make a full recovery.
Look into carnivore diet and fasting for cancer. (On RUclips)
I don't know why, but I absolutely love the jingle. Great content guys! Totally change my day to day.
Bob and everyone in this community makes me realize how I am NOT alone in my back and joint problems . God bless you all
Bob. Thanks for keep on making these videos. It helps me with pain in my body, and the fact that you don't talk so fast makes it easier to understand because English is only my second language.
And this will help so many others with speaking difficulties because you are normalising it.
I am sorry you have to tell us to be polite, and that you are just as smart as before.. It should be needles to say.
Great info! I injured my sacroiliac lifting a motorcycle over a year ago. After physical therapy and visits to a chiropractor, it got back in shape and it seemed taking daily walks was the biggest help. Definitely looking to try a coupes of these for maintenance. Thanks guys and keep on keeping on, Bob!
Dear Bob, What a shining example of positivity in the throws of suffering you are showing us. You are a truly compassionate individual. I am going to suggest you try psilocybin... it has remarkable healing properties in the brain, but most doctors can not even mention it to patients. I have a very serious brain condition called trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias (TACs) very rare and is said to be the most painful condition known to man that does not kill you. Imagine an ice cream headache or brain freeze X10 that does not stop for 3-10 hours. They come every day and night for weeks without a break. Psilocybin is the leading treatment to break the cycle. At the very least discus this treatment as an option with your neurologist.
I’m soooo glad to see Bob still filming! Blessings to him !
Dear Bob& Brad , you two have helped me so very much since I found you 2 years ago. I'm happy to see Bob back on cam er a. Praying for your recovery Bob. I hope you are doing much better. Much much love to you BOTH,
Donna of SC👍❌⭕💚💙💛
Thanks for another invaluable video. Expecting that with Brads support and your knowledge and determination that you will beat this thing and get to a point where you control it rather than it controlling you. Sending positive thoughts to knock this abberation into touch!!
Hi Bob, I have been watching your videos for a few years and I am SO GLAD you are still making them. This one, about the SI, is exactly what I needed and I could not be more grateful. It feels selfish in a way, but also, I know people like me are why you make videos and I feel its really important that I send you some love and appreciation for your heart and your will to keep helping people. I'd hug ya if I could reach ya. 🥰
Please keep making videos the two of you!!! We need you. 🎉🎉
Bob we appreciate you being on the videos!
Amazing to see a nervous system at play. Bob is clearly incredibly intelligent and the neural activity is palpably there in presence while the relay system has its delays. It’s so amazing to see the lived experience.
Thanks for your dedication to the art of physiology.
I am so grateful for the knowledge you two share. When my sciatica flared up 6 months ago, it was agony. Following your techniques, I improved so much sooner than the two times before. I don't know if this will be an ongoing issue in my life, but you guys seriously helped me a lot. Bob - life throws us curve balls. All of us. In one form or another. Keep your attitude positive, and know that we all care for you. Brad - I guess you're ok. (I'm joking, obviously, before I get slammed by readers!)
I’ve been doing the 3rd exercise (muscle energy technique) for several months now and it is making a huge difference! Thank you for your generosity in sharing your expertise this way!
Nothing but love and respect for both of you. Thank you for everything over the years.

Bob thank you for all your videos, wishing you health, piece of mind, and love.
Thank for sharing stay safe keep vlogging.
Thank you for sharing. I’ve had episodes of bad SI pain the last few years. I’m always looking for different ways to stretch and relieve SI problems.
Happy to see Bob engaging. U guys r a duo!
Thanks so much both of you, I'm especially glad to see that you're back Bob! Keep your light shining and prayers to you for continued improvement and healing! You guys are both the BEST!!!❤
You two are my go -to both for self diagnosis and self-treatment. today not sure my issue is my SI joint, but sure sounds like it from the description of where the pain manifests. Your first test (on an another session) does tend to point that way. But I just can't pop it or move it or make walking comfortable. I will try again tomorrow (I know, if it hurts don't do it). Thanks
Great to see you both! And - this is so timely as I’m having SI issues:). You’re still the two most famous physical therapists on the internet!!❤️
Bob, you’re and inspiration!!🥰
I want to thank both of you for all the information you have given the Internet. Both of you have helped me over the years to be a better person, physically. I hope both of you continue to produce more videos. Again thank you for being the most famous physical therapists on the Internet!!!!!!! Bob you are in my thoughts!!!
Much love, respect, and support, Bob!
You are a champion and inspiration to many! Stay in the high road and help us all!
