Thank you so much Dr. Rowe. I have had lots of back pain over the years and forgot about how important the decompression is in recovering. Wish I found this video a few days earlier. Subscriber for life.

You are a true doctor and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this. I've been doing one of these stretches for over 10 years, 6 times a day like clockwork. Stretches have given me the most relief from my pain. Thank you again sir!
I can't believe the stuff I did as a child were actual techniques for pain. Especially the one where you put your hands on the floor and lower body on the bed, it was a thing I repeated a lot as a kid. I just really enjoyed the sensation on my back and body after I did all these things.
It's based off the yoga pose 'child's pose'. Give that look, you may find there's some alternative ways that could really help out too. Thanks so much for watching!
I have horrible disc compression daily, to the point that i am hunched over by a few degres by the end of the day. With these stretches i dont even really have to stretch into them, just lay and relax and i can feel my back going back into where it should be. Thank you
Thank you so much for your videos. Nearly 60 yrs old and reasonably fit, but developed lower back pain & stiffness following my regular running since early summer. A friend had pointed out my pelvic tilt which led me initially to your channel. The release from the exercise by simply lying over the arm of my sofa using the weight of my legs was immediate. Your simple yet well explained exercises are now part of my daily routine. Remarkable what you can do at home with the right advice. Thanks again.

So I got off work hour ago took a shower listening to meditation music, and this popped up in the recommended. I literally did everything in this video and I think this is the first time in a while that I am not going to bed sore from work... thank you.. I'm going to add this to my daily routine..
My dad took all of us kids to chiropractors (but only graduates of a certain school) from the time we were 10 years old, setting the pattern for our lives. We were all in sports and martial arts and dad always helped us at home by doing back cracking and massages on a baseball team of kids to keep us functioning at 100%. I had a back injury in the military and the VA sent me to their own excellent chiropractor for 3 years. He also pointed out that I'm in the fraction of people who only have 4 lumbar vertebrae. One of the exercises I was shown by him was rolling up a pillow like a burrito and placing it under the bone points of my skull that you pointed out in the beginning of this video, and laying down on it while pulling it upwards, tight against my skull to pull on my upper back, while I used the edge of the bed as a fulcrum to put the meaty part of my calves on, while letting my feet dangle down toward the floor, pulling the bottom half of my back open in traction. This created traction for my entire spine and man did it work and give me relief. As of right now my back feels better than it has in the past 40 years, and the exercises in this video are advanced yet easy. I'm glad I found this video and your channel! God bless and Happy New Year!

I suffer from lower back pain i tried some of this moves last night before sleeping. I slept like a baby my back feels less tense and the pain is still there but not severe! I have saved this video and you good sir earned a like a subscribe. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the sub, we really appreciate it!
I thought this might have been clickbait but it actually has instantly relieved my lower back pain. Thanks!
Glad you gave the exercises a chance, and thanks for watching!
Don't sleep half way on the couch over night with you feet on the floor..
Wow! My mother had a lower right side back pain. She was doing some stretches that brought no relief. I watched this video. We went through the last 3 stretches and she immediately felt relief. Thank you so much from both of us. 💘😻💜💛💚🧡💘
Thanks for watching!
I literally just went to a Chiropractor last week due to chronic low back pain for 20 years. He told me he can fix me by decompressing my back and neck with the decompression machines for 6-7 months .... for $4000!! Thank God for this video!! I can't wait to try this, really praying this works for me (a lot cheaper than $4000!!) 🤞🙏💖 Thanks again!! 💖💖
These stretches will not come close to matching the effects of a decompression table. I do hope they offer relief, please give us an update soon!
i'm diagnosed with arthritis at at 17 and i have always been using lots of medications . your channel is the best one i came across. i could not thank you more. i wish i discovered your channel soon

Thank you from the bottom of my dack

Just laying in bed thinking about my back pain and coming across this video. They can listen to our thoughts now too
They're always listening... 👀😂
Yes!!!!
Same thing happened to me. Got a massage yesterday for back pain. Never once typed in back or pain into the search bar or ever watched a video on back pain or even searched it on Google LOL 👀
HAha yup. You just now knowing that
@@PerfectPrinceX1 he probably knew where it was and walked in
I see folks saying they need this because they're old. Well, I'm young (21), but I've had undiagnosed chronic lower back pain for nine years anyway. This video is a godsend.
I hope the exercise help for a long time to come, and thanks so much for watching!
You need some milk.
i did too, and everyones laughs and says ohhhh youre too young to have back pain.. ffs.. well they can have stupid boobs and hypermobile joints then so i can be as nonchalant as them.
@@soliferi Hahaha, right?! I'd gladly donate my boobs, if that was a thing. Just, "Oh, you want to get breast implants? Nah, just take these!" *casually hands them my titties*
I've had spinal issues since I was 17 I was injured in the military I'm also hypermobile. Im almost 35 now I couldn't do one of these exercises. I had a spinal fusion in Sept 2019 (with titanium rods) and waiting for a laminectomy now. Only thing that helps is a heat pad and medication (which I hate taking) but I have to so I can just get out of bed. At night I can't get into bed without medication as I go into such a spasm I dread if I need the toilet in the night as again I go into spasms etc
Thank you so much Dr. Rowe. I have had lots of back pain over the years and forgot about how important the decompression is in recovering. I play a lot of golf and had to withdraw from one of my biggest tournaments of the year yesterday due to lower back, bulging disc type issues that I have had for 20 years since I got out of the military. Wish I found this video a few days earlier. Subscriber for life.
Thanks so much for the sub and supporting the channel. We appreciate it!
Idk why youtube directed me here, but sometimes the algorithm gives you gifts in this miserable existance. I've literally had back pain my whole life that got worse after a car accident 5 years ago. I'm def going to be using these.

This is absolutely ridiculous. The best video there is on RUclips. Doing the first exercise my spine popped in 3 places after the 5th repetition, this feels soooo goood. No more pain, I feel nimble again. Thank you so so much!
Glad you found the video and the exercises made a big difference, and thanks for watching!
I deal with some spinal issues and medical issues that cause chronic pain. These stretches help me a lot! I appreciate that Dr. Rowe shared this video, and also that it goes directly into the exercises without any BS. Thank you!

If you don't have a towel, back pain might not be one of your biggest problems at this time.
Well, I do have towels, but they are only about 40 cm x 30 cm. Water was expensive in the city where I lived. Lol
Perhaps thats the very reason of your back pain..LOL Now get off that couch and get a Towel...will ya?? 😂

I turned 30 yesterday and got this video recommended today :D
Happy belated birthday!

That neck pull is a game changer! head felt much lighter after doing that. Good time to be a Chiropractor, our modern technology is causing bad habits are destroying our necks and lower backs.
