Your review matches my experience with the last gen Rad Pro, identical. After playing with it for almost a year, I found that I'm moving the ball around but without some extra punch to be able to attack normally. Adding lead to get some power only made it too slow. Sturdy, stable, great on blocking, volleys and returns, and with all trajectories and spins. A double hander would get some nice quick counterpunching on that side, but that's about it. Otherwise it's MP for 99% of players
I haven't really played with a current radical pro yet and the radical i did play with was the graphene 360 pro version which i felt was a wooden board without anything special. I have read and heard the same comment about almost all radicals from at least their start with the first graphene version, that the pro was just heavier but didn't bring anything extra to the table and it was always better to buy the mp and customize that one too your liking with better results. I have the new auxetic mp now already customized to my spec and going to try it out on Thursday or Friday this week. To also compare with my extreme tour
The reviews for this racket is different on every youtube, several youtubers say it has power. This review is like no pop. Guess its bad QC and theres different weight distributions.
Hey I got a question. Is it ever possible to show us your macth play? 😅 I feel like your showing us a lot of racket revievs and training, but could you ever show macth play? Thanks for the great content, keep it up!😊😊
Of course! I’m doing reviews right now only because I’m trying to switch to a new frame. After I switch, there won’t really be many reviews on this channel. But, as I had a set of demos come in, I figured I would make some content on them!
I have the radical auxetic mp with my customization on it. Going to play with it for the first time this Friday. Only lead at 12, top of the grip and behind the butt cap ;-)
I played with it yesterday evening with doubles. Wow, the radical mp auxetic is wonderful. It shines at all special shots like drop volley, touch shots, lobs, slice. Super controlled. It was good but not fantastic on spin groundstrokes and serve. I did really like it with returns. I love it as i prefer to create my own power. The radical is not a racket that gives anything for free, but man it is predictable and controlled. For the groundstrokes and serve it didn't shine because of the relatively low launch angle, which meant you really need to work harder for good spin dept.
Interesting. For the 2021 version, I found it to be very maneuverable, perhaps because I'm used to more head heavy frames. For how heavy this racquet is (for me 333g strung), it felt like it was coming through like a 225g. I agree that the response is harsh but a dampener works wonders in this frame. I also agree that the power is lacking. For me, a hybrid setup gives it enough power to hit deep but since it's not a spin machine, you'll hit very flat. This feels great on serve, volleys, and slice. Forehands is probably the weakest part of this frame because of lack of power. However, on the 1bh, since it comes around so fast, it saves me shanking quite a bit. I think this would be a good for a 1bh player who doesn't mind low launch angles and wants a little more control than standard tweener racquets.
Yeah you might be onto something there. I also think that the previous gen pro that I tried might have been out of spec, but I have no way to tell now. I always put a dampener in my frames and to me it didn't help. I'm not sure why, I think it might just be me, but it didn't suit me that well. Oh well, onto the next one!
After all of them, it’s not a contender for me. If I wasn’t playing as much competitively, I would consider it because it’s a fun challenge to get it to give you results. Right now I don’t need a challenge, I need help haha
Ehh… how do you feel about this one?
Ehh
I know I can’t preform well with it

@@userdjee834yeah and I feel very competent with heavy racquets and I still believe the mp is the better choice. Unfortunate for this legendary frame

Good review and nice to see honest, definitive opinion / view
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!

I owned the previous gen Rad Pro. It completely killed my arm!!
I don't blame you!
Radical MP is the way to go… My Rad mp is arriving this afternoon…Will take it out for a go tomorrow…
Love that frame... you might be seeing it more on this channel in the future...

Sounds like a customized Rad MP is the way to go. That's what I've been thinking for weeks now. Great reviews!
Thank you so much! Yeah a customized Radical MP or Ezone 98 look like they are the front runners for me. Volkl C10 evo is a dark horse though.
Hey are you going to review the furi arma pro 98?
I wish I could, if I can find a way to easily get one then yes
personally i love my head radical… kinda old though at this point 😅
Try the Furi Arma 98!
If I can get my hands on one I will!
Wats ur height man. Serves looking good
Thank you!! 6 foot 3 inches!
Where does the VCore 95 stand after all these reviews?

Is the TFight ISO 315 on the radar then?
@@mayw33dit might be, I’m waiting on one to come into our pro shop. We are technifibre and babolat retailers so I’m hoping we get some in.
