The part with working on imposter syndrome and perfectionism and trusting the process was especially great! Loved Urvashi ( a special shoutout for people with indian/ asian roots going places 🙌) love Ro 💕

Such an interesting journey. I like how you said "...it only took me two years [post B.Psyc] to get into medicine". Acceptance and gratitude in action~

Hi there, Ro,I hope everything is well. First of all, I just want to say thank you very much for making time to create videos. 😊 I love your content very much and I really enjoy watching them as they are all relatable. I'm just wondering, when you have time again, will you be able to update us with another video about this? I'm a psychology student, and forgive me, but I don't know how to spell your friend's name. I have been contemplating pursuing med school and specializing in psychiatry. I'm in my second year in psychological science and I'm just wanting to know more about what preparations she did. Did she have to take another course as a requirement to get into med school? Was she doing a 4-year course of undergrad in Psychology or 3 years? What are the pathways for someone like me who is interested in psychiatry? What about grades? Do the med schools calculate overall grades from the first year to the last school year? Does life experience in the psychology field help, and what other things should people like me expect when trying to get into med school?
I have done my research, but watching videos like this helps keep me motivated. Just like when I was planning to study psychology, Your videos about your experiences as a student all the way through to fulfilling your goal as a clinical psychologist helped me a lot to push throufh when I am heavily challenged by my impostor syndrome especially those days when I was trying to get into the course.
Thank you so much again Ro for uploading educative , inspiring and insighful videos of your life experiences.
    Kind Regards,
    Enjylmar

This is where I'm at right now... am doing my last undergrad subject and have applied for honours at Deakin, but actually already work as a CN in a MDT alongside Clin Psychs and we are part of the same team, do the same job, get paid the same, and I'm really starting to consider Psychiatry

I would never become a psychiatrist because psychiatric medication is horrendous I can never imagine myself prescribing such throughout out my life 😭 but I guess sometimes medication is the only way for some people.

I am in my first year of a bachelor of psychology and if I want to go down the path of psychiatry in the future, how do I do so? Do I study after completing my honours degree or do I go onto further study after my degree? I would love to know the difference and the pathways available in Australia :)
