If anyone questions it, that is a goof joke but also it's true the studio did burn down and they had to move too digital. Sad too because the fire destroyed there archive that held almost all of the models they used for all the films before Flushed Away
Hearing Brendan trying to say "You just lost the game" in French and it comes out as "You just lost the juice" freaking killed me. (two years later: this comment seems mean. I swear this wasn't supposed to be mean ^^')

The other reason is it hard to do stop motion with heavy amounts of water effects so ultimately that why they made it animated.

This movie surprisingly holds up as an okay movie.
It helps that Aardman was involved. Basically everything they make is never going to disappoint or let you bored.
