Solent Ships is operated from Town Quay, the Old Town quarter of Southampton, where the Mayflower departed 400 years ago.
Utilising various cameras our small crew are dedicated in providing a window onto our historic waterfront in the Solent region. The ‘Captain’ of our crew is a licenced drone pilot and day skipper, with an added passion for photography.
This channel has a large library of drone footage, documenting (with commentary) the various vessels that sail by one of the busiest Ports in the UK. At Solent Ships, you can also access 24 hour live streaming video of the day-to-day movements of all shapes and sizes of marine traffic, an ever-changing view that is enjoyed by cruise ship enthusiasts and water watchers worldwide.
The channel is expanding with new camera locations and with regular live commentary and millions of views a month, Solent Ships is the most interactive shipping-based channel on RUclips. If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe. Look at that bow-wave! You could water ski behind that thing.
I reckon you could, shipmate
Oh what a lovely ship likewise would have loved to see her full sail, meat to say ahoy Captain
At full sail, that would be great to see, Shipmate, maybe next time
Seeing her moving without any sails makes me think of the Flying Dutchman. They had diesel engines in 17th century Spain then? 😁
I think I can see James Mason on deck 🕵.... and yes there's Esther Williams swimming out to him 🤔 Ooh, hang on 📣 "you're in the wrong movie love!"
Shhh... you'll piss off the Anglos and Germans who think they invented everything to do with the Industrial Revolution.
Galleons were obsolete by the 18thC. Their heyday was 1500s and 1600s
Thanks Shipmate. This one built just a few years ago
Wow, stunning xx

They obviously didn't get the email about pretending to be wind powered.
Think that email went missing at sea, shipmate
@@SolentShips or perhaps it was intercepted 👽
That's how the millennials think ships were powered in the 17th century. Just like they think everyone has had a phone attached to their head for centuries.
Buen galeon o barco .surca mares y oceanos.😮😮😮❤❤❤😂
