I'm really addicted to this channel. Most of camping/hiking channels are the same, many of them with no "interactions" with the viewers (the guy/gal just keep silent) and the routine is always the same: arrive at camp site, mount camp, prepare food, eat, sleep, wake, prepare food, eat, leave camp site. Nikki is so upbeat, even in her lower times, so happy, so funny and then there's Camper, the icing in the cake. I love him already.
I live watching too cause my son is going to do a build for mountain biking. So I’m trying to help him figure out what he’s going to need. I like that Nikki has bikes. She showed how she has bike space. He has two mtn bikes and one E bike for his girl friend. Also she’s very organized so that will help. I’ll be showing them this video about how to figure out where to put and etc. I like this van, the new one Nikki has and Ms Devines van. I like how she did her design too. She’s darling too.
I've enjoyed your videos for awhile now, but what I continue to really appreciate is how responsible you are with Camper. He is always on a leash or tethered while you're out and it's refreshing to see.
Consider a Ratchet strap around your door armrests when you are down for the night. Many truckers do that. Check on a restraint for Camper when he is travelling and put the damn phone down when driving.
One thing that's great about Nikki and Camper is that she never has any drama in her life. I've watched a few other channels based around the travel life and they always seem to have some kind of drama going on. Nikki and Camper seem Ito always be enjoying themselves wherever they may be.

A great investment is a cheap tire gauge. It’s two dollars and you can check which tire needs air first so you can avoid frantically trying to figure that out and fill the air in the tire while the time is running on the pump.
I’m impressed by how well thought out that van build is. Of course, everyone would want to tweak it their own way, but it’s really got every reasonable thing inside and well situated. The tires looked good too, as I’ve seen a lot of vans with tiny tires and wheels that can’t handle challenging terrain or even a pothole. The truck was a fun adventure and a nice spacious, rugged change from the Prius, but it’s really good to have immediate access to the driver’s seat from inside the vehicle for quick escape from hungry bears, crazy creeper people, or sudden changes in nature (fire, land or rockslides, tornado, flash floods).

A lot of van builds take a lesson from the tear drop trailer essentially creating a well for the legs. Often it's just deep enough to side sleep. Pretty sure that this was the intent on this build. Can't guess why the head in the well choice.

Great looking van and it is probably much safer to sleep in than the pop up camper. Glad to see that you haven't had any security problems while camping and hope it stays that way.
Though that pickup looked really cool, this sprinter bus is way more convenient. So much more room, no hustle with the canopy. It's probably about equal in gas since it's diesel, not sure what the other one was. I think a truck camper setup is the best but not the kind that you have to pop up everytime you get in it. That can be annoying esp if you live in it fulltime. This van is pretty cool too. I love how spacious the inside seems :)
The thing I love about a van vs truck camper is being able to get into the drivers seat without out leaving the living space. I think it's much safer in an emergency situation if you have to leave fast.
I can't even imagine the paradigm shift from a Prius to a Sprinter. Fortunately you did it in phases! One of my favorite things about my bus is how quiet and cozy it is, especially with curtains drawn❤

Morning Nikki, I didn't see a collapsing camp bucket in your stuff but what we use it for is the waiting for the hot water to get to the shower head, you'd be surprised at how much is wasted, that water then could go back into the tank or the galley to rinse dishes with. I've seen one set up with a valve that you control the flow to either the shower head or a return line to the holding tank.
Seems a van set up is more preferred than truck camper. Access to driver seat #1. Effective placement of needed things. Looking forward to seeing your new set up across country.

I’ve been living in a 2010 Ford Econoline van since 2018 and I can assure you I will not want to travel in anything else but a van. Mine is not as fancy as the one you’re riding in currently but it is paid for it is very sturdy and I drove from Louisiana to Alaska and back in 2018. Wouldn’t swap that trip for anything in the world.
Looks like the van fits you well Nikki, and great to see camper enjoy the the passenger seat and looking out the window. His Mama loves to travel and He Loves his Mama, TFS. Wishing you Safe and Fun adventures. 💗🐾👍

Santa was good to me this year sometime in the beginning of January a 2022 Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 170 wheelbase will be delivered to the bottom of my neighborhood. I'm hoping that the roads will be dry and clear so that my maiden voyage doesn't start out in four-wheel. Hence the reason the tractor trailer driver won't be coming up on the mountain. I learned so many hacks and tips from you all over the years that every time I looked at an already built out van all I would do is pick it apart. So now it's time to put my ideas where my mouth is so to speak. My GSD just came up to me as I was laying here meditating again and I promised her that I was designing her perch in the van because I know the little one will be in the passenger seat. I guess I better get a move on. Our temperatures went up 50°
"entering my home with no hassle". Seeeeee? That's why I like/suggested a high top roof! LOL I'm so excited to find out what you're getting as a replacement! Though I THINK I may know already?
Try this: AUTDER Tire Inflator Air Compressor,Rechargeable Air Pump for Tires with Digital Pressure Gauge,12V Car Power Adapter , which can be found on Amazon. I still keep a roll of quarters in my car for long trips (for places that still use parking meters), but I never had to worry about inflating my tires. I bought this because I live in the Northern VA suburbs & before I had the pump; I hated going to the gas station only to find that the air pumps were broken.
Not sure if you have done so yet but a portable air compressor for inflating tires. Also good tire patch kits and a tire deflator for bad roads and off-road, rocks, and sand.
Back before diesel became so expensive, a diesel Sprinter was very affordable to operate per mile driven. Now with there being almost $2.00 a gallon price difference, a gas Sprinter might make sense. To me, being able to stand upright inside your living quarters is a huge plus. Never had any idea Nikki was 5'8" so that's nice to know. To keep from banging your head, sleep with your head on the passenger side, so no storage cubbie over your head to bump into. I'd also put seat covers on as well as getting a harness for Camper to keep him safe while driving. Great van. Sure shows the progression from Prius to Tacoma popup to now a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. BTW, Sprinters can also be purchased with 4 wheel drive.
As I am sure you see on my tiktok , IG and here on RUclips. I hardly follow anyone for many reasons …however I follow you on all platforms because your energy , kind demeanor and camera presence. You also seem fearless out there to trust God, the universe and yourself. Keep shining and sharing your life with us. Thank you 🙌🏼⭐️
Enjoy living vicariously through you watching your videos. Being in the maintenance work those Sprinter vans cost so much if they breakdown. Average tech labor costs are double that of other car makers and that's if you can find someone to work on it.
Camper is the best companion. He happily adapts to anything, as long as he's with his Mamma. Safe travels to you both.

Nicely done presentation of the van and it's abilities. Looks like a really nice layout for you and Camper. Darn empty fuel canisters for a hot shower. Thank you for sharing, Stay warm, safe, happy and healthy during your cross country journey. From Henrico County Virginia
I’m currently living in a 2015 Jetta. Your videos have been a life changer. Thank you Nikki.
Looks like the van fits you well Nikki, and great to see camper enjoy the the passenger seat and looking out the window. His Mama loves to travel and He Loves his Mama, TFS. Wishing you Safe and Fun adventures. 💗🐾👍
The best day of the week not just seeing Nikki but my best friend Camper as i cannot have a dog of my own i always look forward to seeing Camper 👍👍❤
Amazing channel and amazing energy. Gorgeous. Blessings to you and Camper
I have one of those B.O.S.S. shower systems and it's pretty awesome, except in the winter. I tend to use truck stops when it's too cold. You're a beautiful human, thanks for sharing your world with us.
Glad to see you both are well.
Looking forward to seeing the new wheels next week.
Always a much more relaxing video with just the two of you.
OXO
Our temperatures went up 50°
🔝🔝🔝
Thank you love. 💕
Congratulations you're shortlisted for my Christmas special for your love and support on the channel. ❤🎄🎉🎁

You could totally expand the shelf over the bed and then put your pillows on the opposite end! No need to hit your head at all!
"entering my home with no hassle". Seeeeee? That's why I like/suggested a high top roof! LOL I'm so excited to find out what you're getting as a replacement! Though I THINK I may know already?
That's a awesome setup and rig.
I like your adventurism and passion for life a lot. It is remarkable. I am a big viewer of this channel. Remarkable.
Thank you 🙌🏼⭐️
Love the new rig and even more your goofy smile/personality!! Been following since early Prius and investing in my own rig doing research
Enjoy living vicariously through you watching your videos. Being in the maintenance work those Sprinter vans cost so much if they breakdown. Average tech labor costs are double that of other car makers and that's if you can find someone to work on it.
Watched a couple reviews on the Ford Transit Trail with an optional 3 1/2" lift kit, very nice rig.
How was the review? I heard they broke down a lot??? Lift kit would be great!!! K
Welcome to Van life Nikki, We've been expecting you. Oh, and hello from here in Scotland.
