    Been letting my hair grow wild and natural and a lot of people been hating on me for it or thinking I’m weird but in reality I’m being true to my cellf so I don’t care. Much love man.

      I know this too well. I always tell the haters that my hair has tought me to not judge people, because you can´t be free if you do so. Everytime you judge somebody else you put another brick onto the wall that will imprison yourself.

    When I had my hair crocheted into 36 dreadlocks, then Covid hit and I decided I would let them grow on their own with no more crocheting. Mine are now 4 years old, down to the middle of my back, and I love them. Like you said they are an extension of ourselves. I love them so much, and will have them until I die. Thank you for your video. You are an awesome human, and have a great outlook. I knot this is an old video, but wanted to tell you. It is a personal journey, and one well worth it. Take care. 🥰🥰

    I love your message ❤ i started my semi freeform dread journey as part of restoring my self after a life of abise and giving up parts of myself for other people's comfort.
    I also wanted dreadlocks and from the time I was a child i loved hippy, boho, alternative, earthy types ❤ and i always return to elements of that nature in me between seaso s of being abused and giving myself up for others in a toxic way.
    I am 3 weeks and 2 days in to no more brushing - not even with my hands - and i feel more myself than ever!! I love the crazy messy chaos of my hair ❤ its kust living out its freedom and is a beautiful express of what's happening in my in er life!!

    Hey! Totally agree with the natural look, awareness and that people who live in the jungle get this hairstyle without cambs etc. One thing though. Let's say you're really living in the wild going through bushes and stuff. Isn't your hair gonna be automatically brushed?
    I got really long hair now (not in the picture) and spend a lot of time in nature. Climbing trees and stuff :p But I notice my hair getting stuck often and especially by moving through bushes. So you can say it's naturally to maybe brush your hair like that. I came upon a plant called gorse. I now use this to as a camb and it's getting pretty smooth. There's also a plant called burdock, and those flowers and seedpods are getting stuck in your hair. When you remove them, your hair is getting brushed in some way. It turns out this plant is really good for your hair also and works really great against dandruff.
    I notice ourang utangs have long hair, but they don't really have those dreads. More like thick hairlocks but not really dreads. I like the hairstyle though, maybe one day I'm going for dreadlocks but I'm expirimenting now with no poo and brush it naturally with plants.

    Nice dreads man. I noticed your glasses fell down a few times if you heat the arms with a hair dryer aprox 2 min and bend inwards to desired it will be tighter on your head follow up by tightening the hinge screws if they have screws there 👍. I want dreads but im afraid of what ppl will think i know i shouldnt but for some reason i am i think just because its such a big change etc. I know some ppl will judge and dislike. But I'll see im definitly not rulling it out because of that but its a lingering thing. I love everything and agree with what you said

    hi Piero i just started my natural wool rubbing dread journey, its been a 8 days so far and i want to ask you how you went about washing it in the beginning...im not sure if i should scrub the hair how you just explained right now with the fingers, or to let the hair start forming and just let the hair get wet....i haven't washed the hair so far and i don't want the knots to start getting loose if i scrub or mess with the hair while touching it....so i would like to know if its a good idea to just let it sink in with water and not touch the hair or to just target the root and don't touch the hair itself...thanks and keep sharing your videos...I like your content...

    • @pierfrancescosantin4325
      @pierfrancescosantin4325  7 лет назад

      it takes around a month for them to get pretty knotted up, if you separate every 1/2 months you should be good

      You'd have to go a LONG time without separating for that to happen. Also, I don't know if in the past few months you've started freeforming, but I'm moving up on my first year later this month, and one thing I've found is that dreads get smaller as they mature. Some of mine looked absolutely MASSIVE at about the 4-5 month mark, but I left them alone. Now I have only one that I still debate on separating, but I can't bring myself to do it.

      The longest I've went without separating is about 6 weeks, a couple of them kinda locked a little but only from root to about 5 inches down, I used coconut oil and the hairs just slipped back to where I wanted them to go.
