Fun Fact: The idea that a 4-Dimendional being can be trapped inside of a 3-Dimensional object was foreshadowed right at the start of this video. Where TSC (a 2-Dimensional being) was stuck inside of a line (a 1-Dimensional object)!

The analogy I used would be a person getting tied up or restrained. Imagine a set of hand cuffs or shackles as a 2D circle. If it wraps around your body snuggly enough, your movements get restrained even though the circle doesn't completely envelop you.

@@dorotazarzycka6989 i think this was the math TSC. At the end of vs math, TSC disappears into a single point, and here he appears out of a single point. Then at the end of this he falls into the thing and at the start of vs physics i think he falls from the sky, so i think the timeline is something like math, geometry, then physics

Answer turns out to be geometry. A straight line can loop if the "surface" (aka, space) the line is drawn on is curved. The line will follow the curve the "surface" or space it's going through and if that surface/space and some surfaces like that of a sphere will create a closed loop.

the little details with the 4D hypercube/diamond, like the ability to pass through 3D walls like they don't exist (the same way you could see all of a 2D room) is SO genius. Honestly one of the most amazing series on the channel yet, keep up the work alan :D

@@malachiriehl1053 a 3d room on a piece of paper isn't truly 3D, it's just a projection of what a 3D room actually is, like you can't draw all the sides of a 3D cube on paper without crossing lines somewhere or only showing one face
You will need a swock of paper to fully display a 3D structure. And, didn't it get _trapped_ in the 3D shapes? That makes no sense to me; the surcell should just hit the surface and roll off it, but instead it behaved like a 3D body and bounced around trying to stay in the realm for some reason
@@toblobs Yes, that's what I meant, and I know that. I was just wondering if you maybe had a typo, because it's obvious that you can see a 2D room on a piece of paper, because a paper can also only project in 2D, but that's the same dimension, so I didn't understand how that relates to a 4D object passing through 3D walls, because those are two different dimensions. However, I think I see now that that's just the thing; 2D relates the best to 2D, and 3D and 4D don't relate that well, which I guess is why the 4D object can go through the 3D walls. Thanks for clarifying!

oh, when he said "his true power is dimension jumping", that reminded me of a crazy comic strip called "Mr. Invincible", where the main character's power was jumping from panel to panel in the comic strip in crazy ways!
for example, he would call someone on the phone, the next panel would show someone answering, and he would jump there, in one case from Paris to Washington DC!
PS: the comic was originally in French, which makes things confusing in one part of the story.
also, in one story, HE was worried about "falling into the Great Abyss"...

Yeah, this is the second reaction I watched, the first was the math one, the dude on the left is like "Wow, pretty pictures" the whole time trying to act cool, and the guy on the right seems like he's afraid to sound like a nerd in front of his cool dreadlocks friend.
Mind-numbing is the most apt description I've seen, I gained absolutely nothing from the video advertising itself as explaining things
As a software/electrical engineer who only re-learns mathematics concepts long enough to build efficient code to do it for me, I've long forgotten most of the terms and symbols, and I actually didn't recognize the golden ratio symbol at first, but then EVERYTHING TURNING GOLD was kind of a giveaway, not to mention the spiral that was there for the mouth breathers in the back.
The golden ratio was the only thing that didn't need any explanation - great video 10/10 good job.
i didn't even notice the Menger sponge fractal in the beginning when the hyper-diamond was destorying the shapes, also what next chemistry, botany or biology or something else?

I find it amusing that 4th dimension being time, and the way the Deca entraps it is by *timing* its capture where the Tesseract's evolving vertices would align, would "merge" into one single point. Into a point. Into a 1-dimensional entity.
