Testing Wow and Flutter on Cassette Decks

  • I've completed a number of cassette deck repairs, and have yet to know exactly how well they went. Today, we're going to find out with some wow and flutter testing using WFGUI. For science!

    In a future video, I plan to compare wow and flutter performance of the generic belts on the Sansui and Sony FX5C with some good PRB belts. I'm almost certain it's belt quality bringing down the Sansui. The Sony TC-K45 will get a series of videos dedicated to complete restoration once I get to that point.

      Using a Behringer UCA222 interface.
