The thing you said about filipinos getting bored so we start singing is so true. Just recently when our class was in the middle of taking exams, I heard my seatmate singing quietly while answering the test and when I teased her about it after she says she doesn't remember doing it 😂The thing is it also happens to me and others as well😅

Fr... There was like a birthday perty here, my neighbors daughter turned 1, and at around like, 6-11pm the dads were singing. And I didn't even realize my dad was singing until my mom said "nakanta si daddy niyo" (translation: your dad's singing) I was so shocked. He sound so different. 'Cause he's usually very quiet inside the house, so I was a bit shocked.

Hey, with all honesty it was my 1st time seeing some of these tiktok videos you've featured there. Shame on me. Hehehe.
But you know what, the reality is, when you come to the Philippines personally, you are NOT going to find those talents here. Yeah, you heard it right from me. Because, most Filipinos are shy and timid to show their singing or musical skills. Except if you are an artist or singing is your career or job. But with the common Filipino citizens, you will need to discover those said talents.
Yes, you may be able to discover them through priced competitions, birthday parties, weddings, other parties or events or celebration, and even most especially in drinking sessions when the secret mystery singer is already drunk and high and has the courage or insanity to bring out his/her voice. Hehehe. Funny but true.
A lot of foreigners come here and look for the singers in the Philippine street and community and could not find them to their disappointments. Hehehe. Because... now You know! You can't even judge by the looks, man. I tell you guys, even I am being surprised at most people i never knew or seen, who does not even seem to have any iota of musical aura/ki/chi/chakra/nen/jutsu/haki or even looks, but boy they are really going to surprise me to the point of intimidating my musical degree. Hehehe. This surprises me as a Filipino as well! That is why I have the passion in teaching the young generation to help bring out the musical ability/skill in them in their young age.
Another thing, most skilled/talented singers do not intend to bring this up as a career. They just do it just like leisure for them. They don't seek fame/popularity or money for it. It makes it worth fulfilling to them just to be able to execute and deliver and make someone appreciate their craft.
And yes, not all Filipinos can sing. I am the only musician in my family. So, should I say, 70-80% of Filipinos can sing, the rest of the 20-30% are just tone deaf, but just really loves music. Hehehehe
I remembered the days when I'm bored living here in S.korea then I sang with full volume of my microphone, then suddenly, our neighbors (lolo or 할아버지) went out of their houses just to see who the hell was singin😂 and then my husband proudly say oh it's just my wife😂😂😂
