Saiki is truely a master at her craft. She's really blossomed into one of the best vocalists I've seen or heard. She sounds beautiful and has the magnetic gravitational pull of a small planet. Unbelieveble. Thanks 2 Gen! 🕊
This production will make a grown man cry! I know I am a 66 year old Arizona heavy Equipment operator who works in ungodly heat everyday this time of year at this moment sitting in my living room it is reading 107 deg outside! Anyhow I have seen Zeppelin live and all the other greats but I am loving life right now because I have just purchased the new BAND MAID release UNLEASHE this morning at 2 am and have VIP tickets for October in Phoenix life is good carry on young man you are kickin Ass!
Woah new song 🎵 ok I gotta check that out thanks Darrell and yes life is good and happy to know you have VIP tickets I know your going to have an amazing time good for you pal 🤘
Such emotion from this young woman. Eyes almost crying and a voice almost cracking a couple of times. Kanami was a singer/songwriter before she joined Bandmaid. So we can see where that sweet voice of hers comes from. Yeah. this one is up there in my top 5 of theirs. Along with the other 12 Ha!Ha!
I love, love, love Band-Maid's ballads and "Anemone" sits right at the top of the tree. This sublime acoustic version always brings me to tears. Saiki's voice is so soulful, and Kanami is a revelation with her harmonies (I'm amazed I was surprised the first time I heard her sing harmony - of course she's great). On the album, World Domination, "Anemone" comes just after "Daydreaming." I can't think of a more powerful one, two ballad punch to the emotions than these two tracks, especially as they come after 10 tracks of progressive rock awesomeness. Band-Maid really are the best band on the planet.
Kanami's 'oooh baby' kills me every time. She has such a sweet voice. Saiki is totally awesome as ever, she can channel emotion at will. Great review. Just a suggestion, in your titles put the hyphen in Band-Maid (not as Band Maid), it will increase your views. See you soon!
Saiki has the most powerful voice, and Kanami has the most "girlish" voice, even more so than Miku's. It reminds me a lot of some of the indie-alt singer/songwriters from the 90s like Lisa Loeb or Julinna Hatfield.
I choke up everytime, the creativity and diversity is why I say they "are" their own genre. Is there anything they cannot do?? I can only think of 1 thing They can't do.....disappoint . 😀
Both girls are amazing. Saiki sings with depth and expands the truth from her soul. Here Kanami with the guitar sounds like the breeze from a cliff and her voice is the sound of the sea. They create an organic sound full of nature, love and peace. They are artists of feelings. Great reaction. Thanks
Wait until you hear the album cut of Anemone? So Awesome. Daydreaming, About Us, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile are an unbelievable range of mid-tempo songs from the greatest hard rock band on the planet - Band-Maid. Thx, 2-Gen!
I made the mistake of reading the lyrics before I first heard Anemone and then the song crushed me. Listen to the full band audio, it's equally stunning, vocally, Akane giving a drumming masterclass and Kanami's final solo being worthy of Alvin Lee ( her most bluesy solo that I've heard)
@@philproffitt8363 Haha😆 Even tho she was mucking around, MISA did sing on the Maids wedding vid. We need to hear her sing more. Akane still has the most powerful voice tho.😁
@@GaryHolloway-810 On the Ladies last tour through the US, they had issues with their backing tracks in Dallas. A redditor was at the concert and said that the Ladies hooked up a Mic for MISA and she sang backing vocals for several songs. He said that she has a lovely voice.
@@greylocke100 Thx greylocke i didn't know that.👍 It's still amazing tho that they can all sing, it wouldn't have been in Miku's mind when she founded the band. And even the connections between them. Miku finds Kanami on line, Kanami knows Akane as her part-time drummer, Akane knows MISA from the same music school & Miku's management recommend Saiki cos she's on their books too.🤯
The voices of Saiki and Kanami are just killer- I get so emotional over this song, more than any other, electric or acoustic. Saiki has the voice of an angel. They are so lucky to have found her- well the luck of Miku anyway. Great reaction.
I actually heard this version before I heard the original studio version. And many people like this version more. I almost have them equal in my opinion of each. If you get the chance I normally don't ask reactors to just do audio tracks. But you have to listen because there is not & official video. You have to listen to the original. And the emotions not only in the vocals but the electric guitar solos sprinkled throughout. And how they take you on a musical Journey again in the studio version of this song. Which again I hold as just as much in my heart as I do this one. Take care stay safe and be well
@3:36 "That's beautiful." Yes. Yes it is. It's interesting. You point to your arms to show your goose pimples. For me, it rises up my spine and the nape of my neck, through my scalp and into the air above me. It literally feels like my scalp is rising off my head; that's the feeling great music gives me. I've been chasing that feeling since I was a kid.
It's a great song.. Kanami's backing vocals are way cool.. And Saiki is just.... Well just Saiki.. You should see if you can find some of the online accoustic songs from their last online accoustic concert.. Unreal.. Not sure if they are still on RUclips or not? I heard they were only up for a limited time?
Mate! Greetings again under that rain! They perform that song very rarely onstage because Saiki tends to get too emotional as shown by her quick escape from at the stage at the end of this song. As for Kanami, people often forget she is originally both a singer and song writer. The music was composed by Kanmai and the lyrics by Miku. Simply put it an emotional both a love call and soothing song! Best regards, Robert-Gilles

It was a wonderful reaction. Thank you. "Anemone" is of course a good performer in this acoustic version, but the studio version is actually more painful and more emotional. Especially, the tune that the two guitar solos reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix squeeze out wonderfully even if it is short will shake your heart. Unfortunately, there is no official MV, but there is an unofficial MV in which one fan edited the existing image footage. We would be grateful if you could take a look there and deliver your reaction. from Japan.
For me, this is by far the best proof that language and whether you understand it is absolutely irrelevant. If you don't get the feelings conveyed in this acoustic set, you should make an appointment with a doctor as soon as possible and have yourself checked for a pulse. I'm willing to bet that there is none to be measured. :) Yes, the ladies also have some acoustic performances with the complete line-up, and I greatly enjoy the acoustic album from last Christmas, but for me the combination of Saiki + Kanami from is and remains unbeatable. 💞🤘🏻 ___________________ 「 _"完璧なんてありえない" / Perfection? The Maids are legitimately the best rock band on Earth
That heart wrenching AISHITERU! at the end always brings on my eye allergy.🥹

Another great performance by the Maids, from ripping off your face to breaking your heart, they've got it all. Thanks for the reaction.
Every genre they slip in and out of,they just kill it everytime, they are the real deal.
