I think the Christmas show finally got a lot of people understanding that Saiki is the Real Deal. It's not just her voice, which I love, it's how she sings in relation to what the rest of the band is doing. She carries a lot of the melody most of the time, which sounds even better when it counters the rest of the band. The way she does it sounds natural and almost improvised, but , I got to believe she has it all worked out prior to performing. My point, if there is one, is she knows WTF she is doing. Much easier to realize this watching and listening to Acoustic versions.
That whole Acoustic concert was a vocal showcase for all of the Ladies. It was also a composers showcase, showing how Kanami and Miku both were able to rearrange the songs for acoustic, without sounding like they just played the same song just on acoustic instruments. They completely rewrote I think 3 of the songs for acoustic and did such heavy modification to the rest as to almost be a full rewrite. Yup, you started going into Wonderland.
This acoustic version was the first time I heard it and loved it so much that I had to hunt out the full band live version immediately. Awkward is near the top of the pile in every version and Akisamahen is particularly mind blowing but for some reason I get the most pleasure watching them perform the full live version.

Mate! Greetings! managed to escape from the Home Dragon's claws! This song's electric version was pretty complicated and difficult tp perform, but this acoustic version is just pure jazz! Less is more. 60% of Band-Maid is greater than 90% of all the others. 100% of Band-Maid is greater than just about 100% of everyone else. I stand in awe of these women.
Little fun fact look at the hair of Miku, Kanami, and Akane from this Okyuji who are the 1st 3 members of Band Maid . Let me know if you figure it out so far no one has noticed it .

Spot On!! So many have no idea how smart and talented Miku actually is. FYI, don't play poker with her.

Awkward is a great song in itself, but this acoustic version is wonderful. Saiki really shines is these performances.
This acoustic concert was absolutely amazing. Our beautiful Maids were all at the top of their game.
