06 24 2020 -Day 11 Final Day Tour of Saponificio Varesino: DESERT VETIVER

We have completed out journey of Italy and the Wonder that is Saponificio Varesino. We, however, have only touched the surface of the product line that they offer. So please visit them for more.
Desert Vetiver is a Vetiver inspired fragrance and soap that is a symphony of note that give a warm, wood, aromatic feel, with an opening of sharp and acidic Citrus. The addition of date oil add a skin nourishing and firming effect, and side benefit of being a very slick post pass ,and post shave feel, Aftershave is optional, but where is the fun in that with the DV having not only aftershave but a very strong EdP as well. With all that has occurred in 2020 this is one bright light that will make you smile at the end of your shave!

I've done a couple shaves with this soap. It is indeed a complex scent but boy, the sheer quality of it! Great post shave feel and the scent lingers on your skin for over 24 hours. The scent is not the preferred one for my nose though but the quality outweighs everything.

Dear Dave, Would you happen to know if SV will eventually develop a cologne for Cosmo? Cosmo is my favorite SV scent, although I also enjoy Cubebe. Regardless whether they do or not, do you have a recommendation for a Cologne which would pair well with Cosmo? Thanks, G
