Good question-- complicated answer. So, it's still working. It doesn't hold it's charge that well when not in use, so I have to charge it pretty much every time (which means thinking ahead). And that's also because I don't use it as often as I thought I would. I've found it's more of a "smoke" machine than a fog... the difference being that it doesn't build up into a haze very well. Unless you use a ton, it's a visible plume of smoke that dissipates in 10-15 seconds , which is less useful for general atmospherics. And the unit is small so the plume is small (unlike a Halloween fog machine). Use a lot and you get a very light haze. So I have found more downsides, but you can't get anything like it for twice the price, so I'm not unhappy with the purchase.
I think you could say that about human beings, too.... It's been about 8 months now and the fogger's still doing fine-- though I'll admit I don't use it often. I think it's important to remember it's meant for small rooms, and its not a "hazer" either. What design flaw do you see?

Because if stores with any juice in it at all for even a period of a few days, it will fry the motherboard. The air inlet is a direct shot to the fan as well as the internal electronics. First, the remote will give out. Then it will stop charging and will short the charging block or computer it's plugged into. Just fair word of warning from some one who's been through the wringer with this
@@PropGuru702 Man, sounds like it's been a real pain. Mine has held up well, even though I go weeks without using (or charging) it. I have the remote velcro'd to the unit so I won't lose it, but I never use it... because I forget what the buttons are for. I "store" it with a bit of gaffer tape over the spout to deter evaporation; I used it yesterday for the first time in 2 months. Have you contacted Scienceworkshop? He's been responsive to me.
