So now i only have File Number and i got asked to give my biometrics last week. I need extension for my Work permit. How can i do that ? Can you help through the process?
Pls clear some confusion regarding who should apply either dependent or primary applicants? And pls show where is the place to upload loi by dependent and invitation letter by primary applicant ?

since i applied for PR straight away and have not applied for visitor, i cant really say much with confidence. But, based on my understanding, you should be able to apply for visitor. then she can come to canada and then you can apply for inland sponsorship. some people have had rejections for trv while applied PR and some have got it. so really very wide spectrum of experiences here. go with your gut, i'd say.

My paper application was sent back as incomplete 2 times and now I’m trying to apply online to avoid more delays and because applying online is being made mandatory in about a week from now. My question- can I apply for my work permit online at the same time as my PR? Or do I need to wait until I get the letter of acceptance for PR and then apply for the work permit? Sorry if you already covered this but I just need a definite answer. This immigration process is killing me…

I have received AOR today. Now, I'll apply for my wife's OWP. Can my wife and child stay in Canada while their OWP application is being processed? Their TRV will expire in November 2023.

But after getting some knowledge from your video will this work for us too? After getting admission for 2yr PG course, while applying student visa application for my wife can I also apply for a spouse work permit visa or have to wait till she joins her course in Canada, and then I apply for a spouse work permit with the required documents. If I get some suggestions from you on this, I might wait for my admission to Canada. I also have a Canadian tourist visa and a master's degree from US.

So, if you are doing the application online, I think you may have to wait for AOR of PR application. Once you get that, you can apply OWP online. These instructions may have been updated, so double check the IRCC page to be sure.

I live in ottawa. I got married two weeks ago. waiting on marriage certificate nd pcc from india just applied last week. Can u please tell me what should i do.

Yes. one option is, the applicant comes to canada on a tourist visa. then the applicant applies for sponsorship(inland) along with open work permit.
