If I have paid the biometric fee, but have not gotten an email that tells me I should proceed just yet, should I check off that I have completed the biometric process, so it does not show up on the fee list?
If you paid during the application process, then wait for an update on your application when you need to go for the biometrics.

If after completing the application and you are only required to provide 3 documents then do that, if more is needed they will reach out.

Thanks gor sharing. I would like to know if PGWP extend SOWP also the same way? Because my husband just graduated and he don’t have job offer yet. He may apply the PGWP first.After he got the employment letter and three pay stubs will extend the SOWP separately.
They are not the same but they both apply you to work. He should just apply for the pgwp.

Hi , i got my sowp rejected saying my i didnot provide proof that show my spouse works in skilled job . Like i had to submit employee letter. That was not an option in the doc list , so i didnot submit. Now im trying to reapply, where do i add employee letter ?

You will need to add your child in the application. When completing the application, there is a section where it says, are you applying for someone else, thats where you add your child.

You paystubs goes in the financial section and any other document can be added in the additional section.

Thanks for this video. I have my work permit and my spouse has got the visitor visa. I am planning to apply from inside Canada her Spousal OWP but there are two processing time, which one is correct 1: (Work permit from inside Canada: 168 days and 67 days paper based) 2: Spousal OWP (13 months inside Canada and 17 months outside Canada) and after 6 months due to Visitor visa constraint she has to leave the country. What to do in this case?
You would have to go for the owp online or paper application..

It’s sure that I will get it by 4 months but my spouse is in Canada and he also needs to apply for his spousal work permit before 30 April. You can use that to apply if the work authorization enables your spouse to keep working but also understand that immigration Canada makes the final decision.

My WP expires in Dec 2024 and his is valid till Dec 2025. Can I extend my Open work permit till his WP date of expiry?

If you and your husband have already applied for Pr, then you can stay in Canada legally until a decision is made on your application.

Hi, I applied for the inland spousal sponsorship through online portal and got my file number starting with F. But i'm confused on where to submit the SOWP at the same time. I included the open work permit fee of 255CAD but I didn't see where I can submit the IMM5770 form.
Not sure if both can be done together. Also, I haven't checked lately if SOWP can be done through the online portal.
Yeah we too applied a inland spousal sponsorship and got AOR YESTERDAY starts with letter F we too gave 255cad for open work permit.

Its basically similar. One is an extension and the other a work pwrmit. The only thing that separates the two is what you are applying for.

It doesn't matter. Anyone can apply for it as long as you indicate that the person with the pgwp in the application.

I don't remember the options but if he doesn't have a job, then it should be an option with no employer. If you can't figure it out, text me the options.

Normally he should get a work permit for the duration of your pgwp. What was the reason for the refusal?
@@DarlingtonAcademy it's written that your spouse (i.e. me) do not have a full time job in teer 0,1,2 or 3. However, there was no section where they asked for my employment details. In my application I put those details though.

@@navdeepkaur3764 read the refusal letter again, they always specify how to reapply if you think their decision was wrong. Then follow the link in the refusal letter to reapply.

I am currently on visitor status and need to apply for SOWP (inside Canada). I see for online application processing time is 140 days and paper based it is 14 days. How should one apply and is there any difference on application documents ?
There is no difference in the application documents, just that online is structured in a way you can fill all the info online and submit while the paper based requires you download a few documents fill them and mail the documents.
