  • @somkhak

    Many thanks for your incredibly helpful videos. They are clearly created with lots of love and care.
    Sorry if this is not the right place to ask such questions: I am currently in Canada on a work permit that I obtained independently. As a freelancer, I and my husband (a Canadian citizen and my sponsor) are considering leaving Canada for approximately four months next year for work and family reasons. Although we are unsure about the exact duration of our trip, I want to ensure that I don't face any issues with my PR application. An immigration consultant advised me to apply through the "INLAND" program, given that I am a resident of Canada with a work permit. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  23 дня назад

      if you apply inland, you will need to maintain residency inside Canada for the entire duration of your PR application. You can take short trips 2 to 3 weeks max, but a 4 month trip outside Canada as an inland applicant will not be consistent with the requirements of an inland application and might put your PR application as well as your work permit, both, at risk.
      if you feel that you need to be outside Canada for four months, outland is the best route for you

    Because of your help and videos, my application finally went through and it’s moving forward!! There are not enough words to express how helpful your videos were. One question though, Is it possible to get Instructions letter without AOR? Because that’s my case right now, I’m about to do the medical but I’m still yet to receive the AOR. Thanks mate!!

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  Год назад +1

      yes it’s possible to get medical or biometrics even before or sometimes even without acknowledgement of receipt. not to worry about that. just continue to provide them whatever they ask at every stage.

    Hi,
    I am a PR in Canada, my wife is having visitor visa (she got it approved before our marriage, not too long before. And I gave her an invitation/support letter to support her application as a family friend).
    She is staying with me now (having rent agreement on both of our name).
    Can you suggest if I can apply for her PR sponsorship from within Canada (I am an eligible sponsor, in terms of financial support, age and everything).

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  Год назад

      Having had a Marriage in canada will not make the application drastically different. the general guide 5289 will still apply. Your document checklist 5533 will tell you all documents you need for in canada application.

      @@HitSubmitCanada Ok thank you bhai.
      . I have one more query to ask. Suppose if I get married outside Canada with no family member from my side. And then later on girl and her family comes to Canada and we have a reception here with my family members. Does it makes sense? Can I then apply as an Outland application considering we got married outside Canada and then she is here as visitor with me. Or do I need to apply as Inland application only?

    Not sure if you can give advice for this, but my spouse and I applied for PR a month ago and just received an email saying that the application was returned due to "being sent to the wrong office". We are both living outside of Canada right now (I'm a born Canadian citizen, she's Peruvian). So we would apply under family class (outside Canada) , correct?
    I'm about 90% sure I applied under the correct category before, but i don't know why it would've got sent back otherwise. I realized for one form I had accidentally put my old Canadian address, so I'm going to fix that, but I find it funny if that's the reason why it was returned since it was for me, not my spouse who is the 'Outland' applicant.
    Any advice would be appreciated! :)

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  2 месяца назад

      Yes family class is correct for this case. I am guessing you made the family class selection in the PR portal application home page, when you selected class from the drop down? Additionally the checklist 5533 also asks for the class, hoping you selected this option there as well "currently living outside canada, applying under family class". Also, in 1344, there is a sponsor residency section. Where sponsor specifies where they are living currently.
      If you did all those correctly, then it could have been a return in error on their part(which unfortunately happens time to time).
      At this point best course of action is to resubmit, making sure in the PR portal as well as well any form that asks it, select family class, and add a letter of explanation to further clarify that sponsor and applicant both are living outland.

    Hi Suyash, your videos are amazing and are super informative! Thank you very much for helping fellow canadian PR applicants! I am a Canadian PR and I am in the process of sponsoring my wife. I got a question and it would be wonderful if you can help me. My wife and I live in different cities in Canada, due to her closed work permit restriction and lack of job opportunity for my profession in the city that she resides. We don't live under the same roof and we make monthly visits. Based on this facts, I thought the application would be family class (in Canada) which will not be eligible for an bridging open work permit for my wife. However, I called IRCC twice and two different agents encouraged me to actually apply for the Spouse in Canada class with a letter of explanation. What are your thoughts? Thank you in advance for your time.

    Looking for some help!
    I am Canadian Citizen living in Ontario and my wife has a work permit living In Alberta. We are currently not living under the same roof. I wanted ask the community if I can sponsor her under the family class - spouse category - spouse or common law partner in Canada class. I am assuming this will be in a inland sponsorship as well since we both live in Canada.
    Any help would be great - Thank you

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  Год назад +1

      Family class is the right one for you. Spouse or common law partner only works if you are living together in canada. Yours will be a family class - outland sponsorship. Living in canada alone does not make it inland. it has to be "living with the partner" and "in canada" to be inland. Make sure you check the instructions page that I mentioned in the video. It will further clarify this for you.

    We are also going India in June to get traditionally married.
    I will get back to Canada in July.
    But she wants to stay in India from July till Feb next year.
    So shall I put Inland Application or outland?
    I will probably get my mrg certificate in Aug and then I can apply for my PR as a Primary applicant, but she will be outside Canada from July till next feb!
    Do you think she can stay outside Canada for such long while I am applying for my PR? is this possible?

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  24 дня назад +1

      You have both options available. If you want to be able to travel and stay outside canada for long while your application is being processed, apply family class, else apply “in Canada” class. You can simultaneously apply to extend your stay in canada as a visitor as well.

    What would you recommend in situation where PA lives in Canada with the sponsor. PA has a 21 y old dependent who lives outside of Canada but wants to move to Canada. Does PA still applies for inland sponsorship and adds child as dependent or has to apply outside?

    • @HitSubmitCanada
      @HitSubmitCanada  Год назад

      PA still applies inland and adds child as dependent, since this is essentially PA’s application. When PA fills out the application, PA can provide information about dependent being outside Canada. Then once the application completes, PA will get portal invite and dependent will get PPR.

      Like I explain in the video, you should weigh the current and future needs of both you and your sponsor before you choose a class. I’ve explained in the video what advantages each class has. It’s completely your decision to choose a class. If you’ve already submitted an application you can withdraw it using a webform if you want. Broadly speaking, the timeline is not much different for the two classes despite of what you might’ve heard online. So choose the class based on your needs not based on the timeline information

    I am permanent residence in canada. My spouse is in canada on PGWP valid till march 2024.
    I am applying for her PR application under spouse sponsorship program & i am confused here to choose the right class (under point 3)
    1. Program under which you are
applying Ans- Family
    2. Category under which you are
applying
Ans- Spouse
    3. Subcategory under which you are
applying - Spouse or common-law partner in Canada class or Family class (outside Canada)
    Question 1) Do i need to choose spouse or common law partner in canada class
    Or family class (outside canada) in point 3
    Because we are going to india from 24-NOVEMBER TO 29-JANUARY (approximately 68 days) while her pr file will be in process!
    So can we go to india for 68 days if we apply
    under spouse or common law partner in canada class?????
    Or we have to choose family class (outside canada) because we are going india for 68 days?
    Question 2)
    And can we apply for her work permit when we are back in JANUARY 2024 if we apply under family class (outside) canada!!!
