Stains philosophy was unattainable from the start. He wants heroes to be the idealistic icons he thinks they should be, but the problem is that they are HUMAN! Not everyone can be All Might, not everyone can be Superman and thats OK. Sure, not every pro should probably be a Hero and many certainly arent behind the scenes, but his actions damaged the world far more than they could possibly have saved.
Stain is the best villain in MHA and it’s not even close. The main villains are somehow so boring compared to the side villains. That is the main problem with the series. A lot of people viewed and still view it as a successor to Naruto. Even the less important villains in Naruto are still more compelling than the villains from MHA. There is no reason Gentle Criminal, Stain, and Twice should be the best written villains…
The reason i disagree with stain is because being a hero is an actual job, not a vigilante. It like saying fire fighters or doctors shouldn't be paid for saving lives. Plus if a hero is doing it just for the money they are more than likely going to work extra hard for that pay check.
Stain just doesn't make sense at all in the My Hero universe, there barely is any bad heroes, and compared to the actual "GOOD" heroes, they are practically saints. I feel like My Hero needed to show a lot more of how corrupt the heroes were like in the Boyz, then they could be understood, but for now, villains' like Stain and Shigaraki just make no sense.
Garou definitely wanted to be the hero but gave up when he was a kid, as he felt sympathy towards the villains in the shows he watched, due to being bullied. And when he responded to the abuse, he wasn't met with comfort and understanding, or even someone that would listen to his side. He was met with hostility and dismissal, like he himself wasn't worth the effort to be treated well because he was the "villain."
That fucking scene of garou deflecting all those damn BULLETS just to PROTECT Lil chin in the shack was fucking amazing. And then he got right the fuck back up and was keeping up with silverfang and his big brother. Garou was a fucking beast.
I like how Garou essentially looked at Ozymandias's plan from the original Watchmen comics and said "Fine. I'll do it myself."
Another thing Garou doesn’t hurt kids while Stain was ready to smoke Iida
Garou concluded that only a world wide threat can force the world to set aside their differences. So he decided to be this threat himself.

Who has the better Hero Organization, OPM or MHA?

Garou went the Lelouch route
Stain's dream isekai would be Marvel or DC under optimistic writers.

Those dudes are the living embodiment of “talk your shit, walk your shit.”
Stains motives were beyond other villain’s understanding.
Notably, Garou also fulfilled stains will of weeding out the ‘fake heroes’
These lads are the embodiment of
Stain is that one guy who watched THE BOYS and was like "nah bro, ain't this shit gonna happen in my world"
Stain seems to think that heroes getting paid or just not being as noble as all might automatically disqualifies their right to life

Honestly, at first I thought Stain was more... "moral", but you changed my mind. Plus I lowkey partially forgot Garou's motives.

Yuh huh, I totally agree with your opinion, 100%
