I know what you mean about Burlesque, but when you see just how much work and fitness is actually needed to dance around that pole and hold yourself up... It gave me a different perspective on them, and a lot of appreciation. They make the dances so elegant and seamless it's easy to forget how fit you have to be to it to a high level. Especially when they make it look so easy.

i saw at a show like that, roughly 30 years ago; it was also an asian woman; but she wasn´t shooting ping-pongballs, but her darts hit every target.. she did some contorsions and a fireshow too; it was amazing..
